“You don’t have a generous bone in your body”. Hey Jo - remember when Amanda mortgaged the building to bail your ass out of jail? That sounds generous to me.
They should have kept it, adult, with the older, mature cast only and some added members. The teenage group just pulled it down, melrose was about adults, not teenagers. It would surely have been a great success, many would have tuned it...
Heather Locklear work so hard to save Melrose Place how disappointed the show have been cancelled. If they make the TV movie on Lifetime, TNT, or other network it would interesting to see Melrose Place back. Wish they'll make the movie!
They ruined the character histories with this cw crap. If I got to be a PA I wild have informed them Carter was rich and that’s how Syd faked her death. He never left town and he took her away and died and she got his money to purchase MP from Lexi. Michael had nothing to do with her faked death. None. If you watch the season 5 finale…same night he was in hospital ready to have surgery on his hands, not post surgery…
I loved the original Melrose Place and like others I wanted to like this but the characterisation wasn’t right. Sydney and Amanda had no warmth. Michael, Jo and Jans had a bit of warmth but it wasn’t a reflection on the actors. The writers did a bad job and as others have said, they didn’t study the original. If they had they’d know that deep down all the characters did care for eachother. They weren’t just out for personal gain. Also there was an opportunity to have the painting the one that Amanda’s ex husband Jack Parezi had but they didn’t take it. This was disrespectful to the original.
What would have made this a bit more interesting as if it was revealed Amanda and Elle are mother and daughter. Ellie was adopted and Amanda was actually her biological mother who had her in college but had to give her up for adoption due to life circumstances.
i know but i loved it though. everyone in this new melrose place was too nice by adult drama standards. the show needed a true villain and we all know amanda woodward is classic primetime soap opera ice queen so it was fitting.
@Julian76ix No I didn´t know. I don´t have luck. All TV shows that I like have been cancelled: Cold Case, Lipstick Jungle...and now Melrose place...This are wrong!!! They shouldn´t do this... :(
