Probably my favorite show of all time. Thank God for Heather Locklear coming on the show and saving it from being cancelled in the first season. She's a good actress and plays such a good villian.
The show started like a lighthearted show about urban people and frienship and ended like the most over the top soap opera ever, memories...aww the 90s
manystar The first season was so boring, but I watched it anyway. Remember "Sandy"? They couldn't decide if she should have a Southern accent or not. LOL!
Melrose was a godsend for Marcia because she was nursing her boyfriend through brain cancer and playing Kimberly was her outlet. That's why she's so loyal to the show today.
It's funny because arguably, Desperate Housewives was the bigger show, but she'll never shake off Kimberly Shaw on Melrose. She was great in both roles.
It probably would have been brought up if the interview was longer. It was much too short. We didn't hear from Matt or Jane at all. I still loved it, just wish it could have been longer. Micheal and Peter were missed.
It must have been mentioned, right? These type of interviews go on a while and I’m guessing it was edited out for time. Of course, they were seated so far apart (opposite ends) and, maybe they didn’t want to talk about it since she had dated Grant Show before him. That was a long time ago and they all moved on but it was probably decided not to go there with the Doug & Laura’s marriage. They’ve been married since May of 98. Impressive by Hollywood standards. LOL!!!!
Heather Locklear is celebrating her 60th birthday today, September 25, 2021. She was born in Los Angeles, California on September 25, 1961. She is an American actress famous for her role as Amanda Woodward on Melrose Place (1993-99), for which she received four consecutive Golden Globe nominations for Best Actress - Television Series Drama. She is also known for her role as Sammy Jo Carrington on Dynasty from 1981 to 1989, her first major television role.
This was undoubtedly one of the best TV shows in the 90's, and had it been on mainstream terrestrial channels, it would of been a major success in England considering the success of 90210 and Friends. Great show, great cast, ultra cool in it's time.
I love the fact that they are so friendly and smiling with each other.. Seriously, you can see the camaraderie.. That's so hard for a star cast.. Even with all these years! And I wanted at least a 30 min interview!! 😃😄😄😑
They all look AMAZING! I have the entire series on DVD--well worth the cost. Heather Locklear is a very underrated actress. She's brilliant in everything that she does. I missed seeing Michael. I wish all of them the best! xxoo
She is definitely not underrated. There was a reason she made mucho dollars on every show she was in and brought up the ratings. Unfortunately eventually drinking got the best of her
@@whiteshell1 Heather has always been super successful...tj hooker with Shatner and she got married to motley crue and bon jovi...that's one of the main reasons the show was successful....gotta love heather
I used to tell me ex-boyfriend he couldn't call me during Melrose Place or Beverly Hills 90210. Sometimes, I would let him call me during the commercials lol that's the best I could do lol
What an iconic show, 90s childhood memories, wish they'd have broadcasted again, loved Marcia/Kimberly and Laura/Sydney. Gonna find the Nightline episode
It was on TV when I was a kid, so I really didn't care about this show back then, but now I've watched all the seasons online except for the first one and I absolutely love it! Such a great show, never a dull episode. I think I'm gonna re-watch it from the first season this time.
Lol I skipped the first season too except for like the last couple episodes when Heather Locklear joined the cast. That's when the show started getting good.
I skipped the first season too! The show didn't know what it was trying to be at the beginning. I started it from Season 2 when there was more humor, and it only gets better. Season 2-5 is some of the best primetime soap opera that's ever been on tv. Melrose was definitely the Game of Thrones of the 90s.
This is so amazing. They all still look beautiful and handsome. This show was the very first american series I watched and I just loved it. I was thrilled to see some old characters(Michael, Sidney, Jo, Jane Amanda)coming back into the new melrose place but what a shame they only made it one season. I hope they bring back the show!!!
I’m 23 years old and I stumbled upon this show when I was flipping through the channels and I’m like ohhh this is a good show so now I’m watching from beginning and I love it so much
I remember being stationed at an Army hospital in Germany. I'd be watching Melrose Place in the break room with the nurses on duty and talking about it with my friends at the barracks. I miss the 90's!!!
Yes, I love them as well. It was so exciting to follow how the love between the two developed with each day. And how they weren't really aware of that it was love in the beginning...
Angela Djerf I was seriously wishing all the time that Billy would marry Alison! I always felt guilty to admit that Alison was the lady I personally wanted to marry and Amanda( Heather Locklear) in the series was the lady I always wanted to have an affair with at the least opportunity! By the way, where is my favourite actress Vanessa. I wonder why she wasn’t invited here!
Love me some Melrose Place! One of my guilty pleasures - and still is to this day! They got some beauties and straight up cuties and they all still smoking hot all these years later. Now I can see it on my phone and on my tablet - which is even better! By the way, Jake or Billy? I love them both - still do to this day. Now every day can be Melrose Monday!!!
I LOVED Melrose Place. Let's have another few seasons with the cast at this age. How can they look even better? Wow! I named my kids after cast members. Jake, Amanda and Grant (okay Grant is the same person as Jake but he was so cute)
This show would play right after Beverly Hills 90210 and I used to watch this show and then I stopped and the 1990s were the best for TV and music and movies! I miss the good old days! Now everything sucks!
My daughter introduced me to PLL, and it was lovely to see Laura Leighton as Hanna's mum and the woman from Charmed as Aria's mum :) older actresses one remember from when growing up
Where was Thomas Calabro who played Michael. Not to mention, Jack Wagner, Kristin Davis, Kelly Rutherford, Rob Estes, Lisa Rinna, David Charvet, Jamie Lunar, Vanessa Williams, Amy Locane from Season 1???
I’m watching re-runs of this show right now and it’s so nostalgic. The 90s fashions were the best. It’s also hard to imagine the cast got along so well. That’s how well they played on screen. I loved Amanda the most and still do. Sydney is a close runner up.
I was on a trip to the US from Australia when Melrose Place premiered and all the Aussies ran to the TV in their hotel rooms glued to the screen to watch it.
And Heather was initially cast as Susan in DH but turned down the part to do LAX which lasted only 1 or 2 seasons with limited success. I guess she wished she had said yes to DH
I watched all 90210 and I am picking up on watching Melrose where I left off years ago...now with the reruns and on demand they play on tv you can watch more episodes...I enjoy the show as much as 90210...it helps me with my own life
I absolutely loved Melrose Place in the 90's wen i was a teenager, I loved Billy and jake, and I loved Allison and Amanda, Kimberly and Sydney, I also loved Beverly Hills 90210.x

Probably my favorite show of all time. Thank God for Heather Locklear coming on the show and saving it from being cancelled in the first season. She's a good actress and plays such a good villian.
But at the end she couldn't saved it the show went down when these cast members left
It used to be on Pluto but I think it got pulled, I can't find it anymore 😔
@@jennyfantana3717 I think the show ran out of steam in the end. Heather certainly did provide for the show during her tenure
@@stopdeforestationit’s on Paramount Plus now.

manystar The first season was so boring, but I watched it anyway. Remember "Sandy"? They couldn't decide if she should have a Southern accent or not. LOL!
now sandy went to jail for manslaughter in a DUI accident..I wonder if she is out of jail yet
I remember ONLY wanting to watch the show becsuse Heather was married to Tommu Lee. He was at the time my favorite drummer in my favorite band.
yeah, when it started becoming soaps, I stopped watching.
manystar it was trash
Wow, Daphne Zuniga hasn't aged at all. She's still stunning.
Right?! She ruined The Wall's perfect streak.
Melrose was a godsend for Marcia because she was nursing her boyfriend through brain cancer and playing Kimberly was her outlet. That's why she's so loyal to the show today.
She did that? That's amazing
I just started over watching this series again. I never get tired of watching them. This was the best series on television and Beverly Hills 90210❤
Marcia Cross Ruled TV for 2 decades. I was REALLY impressed by her. Not many people can do that... unless you're Oprah
It's funny because arguably, Desperate Housewives was the bigger show, but she'll never shake off Kimberly Shaw on Melrose. She was great in both roles.
Absolutely loved that show... Wish Thomas Calabro would have been here for that reunion
No one has aged, they all look incredible, this was the last show I remember being hooked on.
They all aged so well. We all would watch 90210 and then Melrose Place. Amazing memories.
It's 2018 and I must say, there hasn't been another show like this on television so far and probably never will be. Melrose Place was one of a kind❤
Best show. I miss the 90's. Everything about it was great. Clothes, shows, music, etc.
Yes !!! Me too. I loved the 90s because it was a great time to be alive.
I'm surprised they didn't mention that Doug Savant "Matt" and Laura Leighton "Sydney" are married in real life.
+LAWoman32313 That's right, I totally forgot about that!
It probably would have been brought up if the interview was longer. It was much too short. We didn't hear from Matt or Jane at all. I still loved it, just wish it could have been longer. Micheal and Peter were missed.

I love this cast so much❤
They ALL look amazing.
This is just PERFECT back when TV shows used to be the best!
Me too!! I'm 20 and I've just finished watching the whole series, it's so freaking good and it's never boring, so many things happen in each episode!!
It's been 20 years but every single one of these people look fantastic! xx
Marcia Cross looks younger and more beautiful then on MP 25 years ago! It's a miracle!
soapwonder she's really an underrated actress
When I was in college in the early 90s, my roommates and I always gathered to watch this and Beverly Hills 90210.
This was like the soap opera for the younger generation...loved it❤
These people don't age. They all look fantastic
Marcia Cross looks better as she gets older
Paula Afia every freaking season of Desperate Housewives I watched during those years I was like omg she looks so young and good.
I give that award to Josie Bisset.
Aww, the wonders of modern cosmetic surgery.
Yea, Josie aging like fine wine;)
I forgot Marcia cross was on this. She was cray cray!!
How did they all remain good looking 20 years later????????
It's weird, because Heather looks less botoxed up here, than in the reboot. In 2010...
i know! and even better then her new show now!
shelleyinthecity Émilie
Chermine. Émilie
lucaboden, In my opinion Kyle / Rob Estes is more sexy. So everyone has got their own opinion. ;)
Don't forget about makeup and studio lighting.
They all still look incredible.
This will forever FOREVER be the ALL TIME BEST Drama series of the 90's for me since a kid

This show was everything!!! The only time my roomies and me in college got together for anything was on wed. night... And they all still look great.
this was my very, very favorite show when I was a teenager. My favorite characters were Jake, Jo, Kimberly and Syd

Daphne and Grant was so cute as cuple in that show like Jo and Jake :)
Iconic show ! Legendary cast. Love these guys so much.
I watched MP and then Knot's Landing when I was first married. It was so fun to love a show! They look amazing! Love them all!
Aww Knots Landing. That was ONE OF my guilty pleasures in the 80's.
I’m 23 years old and I stumbled upon this show when I was flipping through the channels and I’m like ohhh this is a good show so now I’m watching from beginning and I love it so much
Man they all still look great
I remember being stationed at an Army hospital in Germany. I'd be watching Melrose Place in the break room with the nurses on duty and talking about it with my friends at the barracks. I miss the 90's!!!
My favorite in the show Billy Campbell and Alison Parker
Yes, I love them as well. It was so exciting to follow how the love between the two developed with each day. And how they weren't really aware of that it was love in the beginning...

Hell yeah, Josie Bissett still looks like a beauty.

Tom Calabro and Jack Wagner should have been invited, but I suppose because of schedules they couldn't be there, but it was awesome!!
They just don't make television like that anymore. Love Melroses.
Lita Coppola yes they do its called reality tv
yes they do all we have is trash on tv today
They sure don't. Now you can download it on your phone and tablet like I do. Still one of my guilty pleasures to this day!!! ❤
I loved that show!
That woman from Desperate Housewives just simply doesn't age.
Face lifts and botox. Well mostly botox.
One of my favorite shows! Rewatching all the seasons now on Prime. Currently on season 3.
I LOVED Melrose Place. Let's have another few seasons with the cast at this age. How can they look even better? Wow! I named my kids after cast members. Jake, Amanda and Grant (okay Grant is the same person as Jake but he was so cute)
Yes, Melrose Place: The Golden Years. :D
This show would play right after Beverly Hills 90210 and I used to watch this show and then I stopped and the 1990s were the best for TV and music and movies! I miss the good old days! Now everything sucks!
Is beg to differ. The 80'a were the best in music. The 90's started the revolution of cheap music and it hasn't stopped since.
They all so attractive
Grant hasn’t changed at all!! What a face. Marcia was my favorite.
I love Marcia Cross, Grant show, and Daphne Zuniga big fan of them
I Love Heather so much. She's a great actress. Sad what happend to her... but she is the same Lovely person♡
I'd love to see the raw, unedited version of this interview--I'm certain it's 100 times more coherent. :)

Where was Thomas Calabro who played Michael. Not to mention, Jack Wagner, Kristin Davis, Kelly Rutherford, Rob Estes, Lisa Rinna, David Charvet, Jamie Lunar, Vanessa Williams, Amy Locane from Season 1???
Kamelion, Rob Estes did not appear in the show until the 5th season. The same goes for some of the others actors listed by you...
no one cares about season 1 lets be honest
Think they weren't there cause they came in way later, not actual original cast members.
Vanessa Williams?
@ MD D, not the singer, she played the black girl Rhonda from season 1 lol
WHERE'S JACK WAGNER???!!!
I’m watching re-runs of this show right now and it’s so nostalgic. The 90s fashions were the best. It’s also hard to imagine the cast got along so well. That’s how well they played on screen. I loved Amanda the most and still do. Sydney is a close runner up.
Haha. Me too.
What a great show ..... Darren star is a genius this was the perfect cast.... I'm surprised Micheal wasn't there lol
You mean Aaron Spelling
Whaw they all look AMAZING!
Kimberly Sydney and Amanda blew me away! They haven’t aged
WHERE'S THOMAS CALABRO???!!!
***** I was thinking the same. He was on the horrible remake.
+ Morgane Lane I know!! Michael was my favorite.
wheres Vanessa Williams and Amy Locane...
Thomas was never a team player or friend with the rest of the cast. He liked the job but nothing more. He's a loner.
Inyourlap jerry Seinfeld was also afraid of that man
Heather locklear was the only reason I watched m's p. She was the only one that was really acting and doing her job.
I was a MAJOR BILLY fan!!! love this show My husband and I watched it b4 kids.. now that it's on hulu we get to watch it all over again!!!
Thank God for Netflix! I can watch this show over and over!! ;)
I was on a trip to the US from Australia when Melrose Place premiered and all the Aussies ran to the TV in their hotel rooms glued to the screen to watch it.
My dad loves the show. I watch Pretty Little Liars and he saw Laura Leighton and freaked haha.
I lovvvve dis show so much watch it over and over ...love best of it time
2:50 Damn she skilled she prevented marcia from mentioning Desperate Housewives
Idk why that was a problem tho, since Doug & Marcia ended up doing Desperate Housewives.
Yeh, I guess she wanted to say "Luckily then I got DH, so then people recognized me for Bree."
Maybe Heather didn't want Marcia to mention the fact that she had the best post-Melrose career playing such an iconic character like Bree.
And Heather was initially cast as Susan in DH but turned down the part to do LAX which lasted only 1 or 2 seasons with limited success. I guess she wished she had said yes to DH
Inyourlap , she wouldn't have been good as Susan.
Esta série marcou a adolescência de minha geração ... Amo ....
Loved this show 🥰🥰🥰

I am 33 and remember this show so well:)

I absolutely loved Melrose Place in the 90's wen i was a teenager, I loved Billy and jake, and I loved Allison and Amanda, Kimberly and Sydney, I also loved Beverly Hills 90210.x
After all these years they still look good! They aged well!
Kids these dayz will never know about all these good classics show... I love melrose place used to hurry from school to watch it
Some of the young ones do. Some don't.
I loved that show, man they all look so great
they don't eat
Heather looks wonderful! So glad to see she’s good! So beautiful always in and out! Always felt Like the world beet her up a bit ❤
Yeah. They all look sensational
I loved that show x
It was a good show...90210, Baywatch, 21 jump Street. Dallas is a classic, but I don't remember much because I was very young.
I hate that none of the couples on the show got a happy ending. I think they destroyed Billy and Alison and Jake and Jo. the audience wanted to see them happy in the end. I think they should have done that.
I agree with you. Also i wanted to see Michael and Jane together, they were so romantic couple during the first season.
After Twin Peaks restart I believe everything is possible. Why not? :)
They ruined Amanda and Peter's and Michael and Jane's happy ending with the reboot. But it's Melrose Place. No happy endings allowed.
I remember watching this and Beverly Hills 90210 as a kid back then in Germany :D
I have to rewatch it ...
I LIVED for that show!!!
That was the best when Matt ripped Kimberly's wig off!
Missed Michael /W/ the group. Loved this show & everyone in it. Matter a fact I bought the entire collection about 2 months ago & enjoying watching it in between other programs I watch. It was expensive, but worth it to me.
Melrose was one cool show loved watching it
Loved these show all all the all the actors and actresses
They really all looked great !
They all aged so well
Thee best show of the 90s loved it!!!
Love Heather and Grant♡
