I have always liked Val but never like a huge fan, but after watching the doc I have so much respect for him. He is an authentic person and artist....It took a lot of courage for Val to uncover what he has been hiding and I give him much kudos for taking that risk......
Did his own singing while playing Jim Morrison in The Doors (1991). The real members of the band said they had difficulty distinguishing Kilmer's voice from that of Morrison's.
Omg, I grew up watching so many of his movies, I kinda attribute being raised the way I was to people like Val Kilmer. Such an awesome role model of a person❤❤❤
Val Kilmer would be so proud of his kid for telling his story val was such a beautiful person inside, and out such heartfelt documentary I loved every minute of it ,and it also felt like he was saying goodbye 🥺❤.
such a raw glimpse into Val's life. I enjoyed watching this movie and thought his brilliance was so evident. He is so artistic in movie, stage and actual artist talents. His children are just as beautiful and a true testament to their father. The loss of his mother was the most poignant part for me.
Val should have gotten an Academy Award for his portrayal of Doc Holiday in Tombstone. Damn!! He took that role and made it his like no other actor will ever do. In truth, I bet no actor will want to play that role because they know it’s been acted to perfection by Val. I love Val Kilmer. Iceman, Doc Holiday, Jim Morrison, The Saint…my favorites!!
With the way they were talking about him I actually thought he had recently died. It wasn't until they corrected themselves saying my dad "was" a fixture in Hollywood to he IS a fixture and Hollywood that I realized he's still alive. Whew! Val lives on!
I watched the documentary with Mt dad this weekend. We are both huge fans. It was beautiful but it broke my heart. My dad's getting older, it happens. Hardest part of life is watching people leave it.
It was such a great documentary… what an amazing and Kind spirit Val has. Jack sounds like his dad back in the day. I’ve always liked Val with his handsome self!

Definitely a great actor and this looks very interesting. But I don't think he was great to their mum when they were little. He is lucky to have such great children and he is close to them which is really good.

Same, so much more to the man. Loved the doc.
Like many here, I watched this documentary yesterday. I was coming of age in the 80’s and have loooved Val since Real Genius.
He was absolutely gorgeous as a young man. God really spent time on Val Kilmer's face.

They also said the movie was crap and lies
@@orangemascara If the movie is crap and lies, that's not Val's fault,,,
Val Kilmer is one ☝️ of those legendary actor that an not be replaced, he did it in his time.
I watched the documentary yesterday and it was so heart felt...val is such a beautiful soul... But it also felt as if he was saying goodbye 🥺
Same here. I felt the same.
Yep I enjoy it 🙂
yes, because they keep talking in past tense about him and then they will correct themselves and change to present tense. odd.
Congratulations Mr. Kilmer....you have brought two beautiful souls into this world....bravo! 🙏🕊❤
Omg, I grew up watching so many of his movies, I kinda attribute being raised the way I was to people like Val Kilmer. Such an awesome role model of a person❤❤❤

I'm so devastated about Val's health,He is such an outstanding actor and seems like a beautiful man
The first time I saw his face, I fell in love with him 😍
Girl, same. 😏💜
Same here. I remember feeling enamored by him.
BEAUTIFUL MAN, BEAUTIFUL SOUL 😊💜
the documentary was so satisfying, a full picture of a life well-lived.
With the way they were talking about him I actually thought he had recently died. It wasn't until they corrected themselves saying my dad "was" a fixture in Hollywood to he IS a fixture and Hollywood that I realized he's still alive. Whew! Val lives on!
Omg RIGHT??!!!!!! Why on earth is Val not being interviewed AT ALL about this film?!
@@iradacina Because he can’t talk anymore?
@@anneweber7029 has he lost the ability to talk through his tracheotomy? He was able to before....?
@@iradacina that’s a definite possibility. Very sad.
I love you Val Kilmer !!!
I love you, Mr. Kilmer. 💜

What a wonderful video.... all parties in this video... created a amazing history of a family man... All heals from this peace...
My goodness he sounds just like his dad Val when he was his age!
💜 OMGOSH, YES! EVEN THOUGH I THINK JACK LOOKS LIKE HIS MOTHER, HE DEFINITELY SOUNDS JUST LIKE HIS FATHER. AMAZING 😊💜
Right, if you close your eyes you could believe it is him talking! 🥰

It is an amazing film. Would love to hang out with him and just talk about everything. He is amazingly talented and so wise.
I loved VK's story and it really was a heartfelt effort...so pleased that he and his kids made it and I found it excellent!
Woah, I'm going to watch this movie so thanks kids and val Kilmer is amazing actor
God bless Val
Love him and his kids 😍🤩
I was halfway through the documentary before I realized that Jack did Val's voiceover. I was amazed at the similarity!
He was so fine
What a beautiful soul, what beautiful children.
Val has always been a favorite of mine. A true actor. An authentic artist.

Great to see val kilmer recovering 👍🏻✨✨✨
Your father is from the time of the age of innocence !
Wow Jack look likes exactly like his Dad❤️
Definitely a great actor and this looks very interesting. But I don't think he was great to their mum when they were little. He is lucky to have such great children and he is close to them which is really good.
Such a lovely man.. still beautiful 🤩 an so honest..
I'm a huge fan he is absolutely wonderful❣️
Though journalists still should mention the good things that he's done and still does.
The documentary was great!
Great film
They don't look like his kids one bit. But family is family.
His son looks so much like him! His face shape and hair are different, but he has all of Val’s features. Shares his mannerisms too
his kids seem to be pretty cool
Nice
🥰
Valley girl dunce routine gets old...
Did he die
Who the hell cares!!!!!!
Omg.. is he dead?
