Update: Banggood got back to me and agreed to a $50.00 USD credit on my account to cover the poor canopy finish. I'm quite satisfied with that! I'm sure it's not a common issue, but it's good to know Banggood does offer fair compensation when problems occur.
Well, I'm glad they made it right. I've never ordered from them before, I'm a little leery. Looking forward to the video.
I got 40 euros refund for a poor M2 + TX packaging which leads to a broken switches on the TX
I am thinking about building one of these heli, I am not sure what to buy ... 380 420 or 505 , any advices ?
The good thing is that banggood sell also the swashplate leveling tool for few bucks.

I was looking at ban good for this heli the super combo is going for $1,000 bucks now. If you got it for half of that you got a steal john salt.
$1000???? Price I see today (April 29/22) on BG's site is $737 USD. No question; that is about $100 more than it was last year before inflation went nuts. I also picked mine up during one of BG's sales. Been a great heli and still flies like a champ.

Also thank you for all the work you do for the heli comunity I watch alot of your videos. I bought my self a radio master T16s max from the video you put out awhile back. I switched to Edge TX. from Open Tx.
Thank you for the review. I have quite a few 6S 3500 maH 35C batteries lying around. I wonder what would be the flight time using this battery in LHS-style flying (non-3D circuit/sport flying).
My best guess is "healthy" 3500 mAh packs would give around 3 to 4 minutes; setup and flying style dependent of course. 4000's are giving me 4 to 5 minutes with a similar flying style.
I have 2 Trex 500s, is this heli worth it?
Hello John! Once you start using Hobbywing ESCs, your going to love them. I made the move to them 4 years ago and haven't looked back! Castles were too expensive, plus the HWs have robust BECs. I fly MSH Brain 2 flybarless and use it's governor but, a couple of my fellow club members use the HW governor and like it. Don't sweat getting the program box, it's worth it. You may want to try more hobbywing ESCs anyway 😉. Good to see you doing more heli build videos.

Just finished the build. Editing the videos over the next few days and uploading. As for scale, never going to happen. These "goblin-esque" designs are not suitable scale donor mechanics. Angled and integrated carbon wide booms, very wide upper servo tray placement, funny sizing, and belt drives are not at all fuselage friendly. These are purpose designed sport/3D machines. Don't get one if you are looking for scale donor mechanics. Stick with a traditional design, small round aluminum/carbon boom with torque tube and 90 degree angles.
I just got my Goblin 380 Buddy and the paint quality was poor as well.... Waiting to hear back from them.

The tail servo is full size. Pretty common servo size configuration on this size class of helicopter.
Hello John I need to know the esc need to be fix with XT60 or XT90 connector?
Presuming you are referencing this helicopter, it depends on how much current you'll be pulling (ie. your flying style). As a sport flier, XT60's on a 500 size machine work fine for me. Hell, I use them on my 600's too without issue 🙂

I know of no North American ALZRC dealers. Maybe US based Ebay sellers have some parts? I've never looked. As for months - certainly hasn't been my experience; even since the pandemic. Most of my orders from the Banggood warehouse in China to Canada throughout 2020 & 21 have taken 2 weeks - 3 tops and half that time is usually spent in the typical Canada customs bottleneck. No idea why it would take any longer to the US; surly USPS can't be worse than Canada Post 😄
