The most beautiful looking mouthpiece ever. Sounds awesome mate. More beefy and still that Hollywood sizzle. You sound sweet. Great to see you exited and it shows in your super playing.

Yeah, you've got the Bob Berg vibrato! Bob Berg let me try his Mk VI with Francois Louis mouthpiece (the original of your copy), reed and all (the pandemic was not in sight yet;-) back in the 90s in Vienna. It was way too open for me (or the reed was too stiff) as I used a 5 Link, at the time. He also tried my setup (Link + 44xxx SBA) and liked the SBA but (not surprisingly) found the piece "stuffy". I switched to MBII Guardala soon, but it was pushing me too much into one direction (bright and loud). I happyly went back to a Link (a Florida 7* remake picked out of a dozen). Now, I have the color palette available that I need.

A real short history from a prof ten sax and reed player. Start: Wayne Shorter, I figured it was kind of like a link 10 and a hard reed. Sounded good… but a bit difficult down below. Got a lesson, the guy said: play a Bb scale from low Bb.
What the F are you playing on? Went home and got a (really good !) link 6* metal. That worked in jazz (coltrane kind of sound very ok when in top form) in theatre and anything in between.
Then came the Gaurdala mouthpieces… I got the Crescent, played for about two years and it finally sounded great… then came the Francis Louis that Bob Berg played on and sounded really good, my good friend and prof jazz musician (Bob Rockwell) also got one. I spent two year on that too… and it worked really well - apart from it needed really good reeds as the gap was big (a 9 I think) Playing ordinary jobs like theatre did not work. Finally, due to frustration with reeds not working and my efforts to earn a living, mainly theatre (musicals) I dropped it/them and went back to my Link 6*
I have used mouthpieces mainly to “educate” my percption of the sound I want. I came to realise that trying a new one with an “inbuilt” sound would only last so long. So the idea was to try to move the sound (in my head) in the direction I wanted.
You have to persist for much longer than you think to actually figure out whether the new thing is working for you. Trying a new mouthpiece and thinking it is the holy grail is unfortunately not going to work. I have colleages that try/buy all the time… they sound exactly the same 6 months later. The sound is in your head - and on the records…. Don`t get me wrong … it does have a big influence on the sound… but not on day one… or day 200… even if you practise a lot.
Just my take… (it or leave it! ) The music is the main objective - and I don’t care how you do it, just it sounds great!
So keep listening, emulating and practising, don’t waste (too much) time on mouthpieces… expensive, time consuming, uproductive and frustrating!

Sounds pretty similar to the rock n’ roll setup I have on my tenor. Which is a Theo Wanne Gaia III mouthpiece, it’s factory ligature, a Selmer TS44 with it’s factory neck, and Boston sax shop reefs.

It's incorrect saying this is a copy of Bob Berg's mouthpiece: the piece Bob actually used had almost nothing to do with this one: this is a "copy" of a solid bronze handcrafted Francois Lois, which is very different from the piece that Francois Louis made for Bob.
Though the external design is the same, Bob's model was more similar to a vintage link. He used to play links and Francois Louis made for him a piece that was similar to the ones he was used to, adding his own concepts, regarding the facing (longer) and the chamber (spherical).
Years and years later FL sold a few of his handcrafted bronze piece (the ones they copied for this one) with the same external design, but with the internal design of his ebanite models (kind-of berg larsen profile with spherical chamber).
They're incredible mouthpieces, but i can guarantee you that Bob's piece was his own, and it was much more like a vintage link mouthpiece.
That said i'm happy you found your ideal mouthpieces, this is just nerd talk, your sound and ease are the things that matter the most when it comes to mouthpieces
