I thought missing the playoffs last year was a mistake… oh how blessed we are to have Lively. Dude is a beast and he’s only 20. Nico has cooked the last 2 seasons 🫡
Worth it, including the tank fine. Nico has been a saint, although We're lucky we got his afterthought in Gafford and Washington rather than his 1st choice this year at the trade deadline. Love to see Lively do well after what he's been through.

Josh Green is an amazing player that defys the stat sheet. We would not win both series without Josh green's A tier effort and motor. Josh Green has a fan in me.

Agreed. Stat sheet won't show it, but he always seems to have a couple clutch offensive rebounds, dogged defense, and corner 3's when it matters. Love the energy he brings.

If you would have asked at the beginning of the season, I would have been happy with one playoff series win, but making the WCF after how disastrously last year went is insane. Huge props to Nico and the front office for building such a cohesive team.

Nobody gonna give hardy his props for putting in decent work this game, and his play making is looking nice with dlive.
Kidd is doing such a good job bringing him along. Big Minutes in this game and Mavs kept momentum with him in.
Hopefully he become full on THJ replacement next season. Keep that youth churn going.

This is also the first time ever that both the Stars and Mavs will be playing in the Western Conference Finals in their respective leagues at the same time! Wow! This is unreal right now!
If Denver wins it will also be Colorado vs Dallas like stars just played Colorado
Okc fan, congrats to the Mavs! Great series and the better team won. A lot of people were/are writing off these teams for the WCF and calling the other series the real WCF and even the real Finals. But this Mavs team is definitely gonna give them a damn proper fight and could definitely win. Good luck!

Gotta give credit to the game changer of this game, DLively. It is constant 10+ point OKC lead for most of the game, the moment Lively comes in in 3Q, dude completely change the tide of this game until end of the game. Those minutes with Gaff on this game is brutal man, glad the rook step up.
Gaff did admirably, it's just tough for him when the opposing guy has such a big height advantage like Chet. Next round will be similar but Gafford can still contribute enough to be a factor, and DLive is only going to get better and better.
The 3 person panel is unprecedented and epic!! Probably the best episode yet. Please keep this coming

Granted it's difficult to pull bias out of it, but there seemed to me to be rather symmetrical offenses on both sides of the court that we were getting penalized for in both instances.

He's the real defensive x-factor that the Mavs need against Denver or Minny. His size & his perimeter defense is gonna be key against KAT or Gordon...2 pretty big and strong dudes who can eat inside or out.
And I think Slightly is right. I think I want Denver more. They're the champs so I've always just thought we would have to go through them anyway. But with the Crawford calf being a problem, the matchups favor the Mavs pretty significantly.
Plus, Luka's revenge tour. Got his revenge on the Clippers. Got revenge on the #2 MVP. Let's get his revenge on the MVP and show the world who the REAL MVP is. And then in the Finals it'll either be Luka's revenge on Carlisle, KP or Jalen.

DJJ was amazing!
Lively, Jones, Gafford and PJ were insanely good pickups. What Lively is doing as a rookie after losing his mom you can’t give him enough credit. I believe he will develop in one of the best centers in the league. Obviously he doesn’t have a jumper yet apart from his free throws but I can see him develop into an absolute juggernaut on the offensive glass and on defense. Next off season I would definitely get rid of Hardaway. That’s like 16m a year and bring in another 3 and d wing who can give you a solid 15 to 20 every game and we good to go for years.

Last year? We lost Bronson for nothing so we got weaker. Then, we got Irving and we did not have enough time to build the chemistry we have seen this year. Derrick Jones Jr., PJ Washington Jr., Dereck Lively II, and Daniel Gafford, all under 27, are 4 of the top 6 rotation players for the Mavericks and have been teammates with each other, and Luka & Kyrie for LESS THAN A YEAR... I said it when they traded for PJ & Gafford, this team is on the cusp of a DYNASTY.
Getting DJJ back at a number close to what they gave to Doe Doe would be incredible... He has CLEARLY outplayed/outproduced DFS, Josh Green, and Grant Williams. Just need a legit 3rd ball-handler/scorer who can play with or without Luka & Kyrie... cough Spencer Dinwiddie cough.
