@@rfd3770 thank you for reaching out! I am located in Michigan so central Iowa would be a bit of a hike. Really appreciate the offer! Thanks for watching!!
Decent looking truck that. Kid did really well helping out. Please use axle stands though...best to teach them good safety early on, it's rare but jack's do fail
I caught a reel on FB and it reminded me of working with my dad as a child. My son was a gamer and not interested but my son in law was. I started her and will get caught up quickly. FYI I’m 54
my 2012 is by and large the same truck. only 47k miles, 4L60E trans, same new process transfer case, 10 bolt rear end, and i got it with manual windows/door locks/seats/door mirrors, no cruise control, vinyl seats and floor liner, and no extra electrical options whatsoever. One major difference between the 94 and mine is that i have an LS based engine, but i have a non-vvt non-AFM 4.8L. the last of the great american trucks.
Awesome, you're a great Dad showing his son basic mechanics about cross loosening the lug nuts, then cross tighten then torque them down, brake adjustment and the like 👍🏻😀.. Nice set of 3 wheelers you have there, an 84 ATC 200X and I couldn't see the other one well but was it a ATC 110?I used to have an ATC 185 and a Honda Fourtrax 200SX and a Yamaha Blaster 200B. I sold them,I'm disabled . So now I am having fun with my 93 Chevy Silverado Z71. 👍💯🇺🇸🙂
Thank you! It’s been fun to work on things together and teach him the basics. Yes the 200X is an 83 and the other one is an 84 Big Red 200ES. I really enjoy collecting the old 3 wheelers! We have quite a few plus some quads. I wish I had gotten into them earlier in life when they were cheaper 😁 My father in law has a 200SX, it’s reliable as the morning sun. Old farm rig
@@schneiderandson sweet deal on the truck, my mistake on the 200X year, the first 2 years had black front fork lowers,85 and up had polished fork lowers. Happy wrenching on all of your toys, trucks and ATCs 🙂👍💯
@@schneiderandson I can easily tell that you and your family are real, salt of the earth folks. That ranks top notch in my book. @@stephengibson2869 thank you! 👍🏻🇺🇸😎. Yes, we are in Michigan. Born and raised. Love it here! Some people don’t enjoy the cold winters but we enjoy the snow and all the outdoor activities on our machines 😃
I live in Michigan too, every one of those older obs’s I see have the same rust spots😂 But man I love those trucks
less miles and still got more rust than my 92. lots of potential, love these trucks
Thanks for the comment! Agreed, I think this one has a lot of potential. Is yours a long box regular cab? Extended cab?
@@schneiderandsonwere are you located. I have some lawnmowers and stuff to give away if you are close to central Iowa.

At 5:58 the cab and the bed body lines do not line up maybe a rusted out frame or just rusted out cab floor.

That’s a good Chevrolet pickup. You’ve got some good help . Thanks
They don’t make ‘em like they used to! Thanks for watching

Not a bad truck that is in good shape
Nice video
i have the exact twin of your 1994 Chevy Cheyenne
When I was in high school I had a 94 just like that but 4x4 I ended up swapping the motor for a 350 and put 6” of lift on it , was an awesome truck

Some of its best features are the options it doesn’t have!
back when trucks were trucks and not rocket ships

Great videos, but please show your kid about safety gear. Goggles, jack stands, seat belts, etc.
Thanks
