I love how rude Sakurai makes that Fodera bass sound. They're very polite-sounding basses in most players' hands, but he really digs the grunt out of it. It's a great sound. I love Howe's playing. He can so readily glide into such a wide range of styles. Here it's like he's infusing a bit of Allan Holdsworth into his own sound. And Chambers has an uncanny knack to always sound right no matter who he's playing with.
Now see, I thought the bass just had some really low action .. love learning. The keyboard player really makes me swoon! Wheelhouse by Greg Howe is awesome and maybe my favorite .. the new one should be out in a few months. Love Chambers and his gum chewing awesomeness .. Gavin Harrison is pretty impeccable too. I have a 1992 Washburn N4 that I still love to this day .. if you look on Greg Howe's website, he has an burnt orange Kiesel GH3X that looks amazing and is probably an improvement over his orange Laguna LE924 .. I think back in 2008, this video introduced me to how(e) good Fusion actually is .. and now I'm frikkin hooked. Guthrie Govan & The Fellowship! It's always great talking to a fellow Greg Howe admirer ..
