Shu has over 1000 ATK on S3 and an extremely fast atk interval thanks to her skill + talent. Her DPS is much higher than any other healing defender except for Blemishine. As a result, I thought she would be great this map since that amount of damage and healing would not only let her kill the dogs (which Saria and other healing defenders cannot) but it also lets her tank and kill the invisible swords at the end.
I tried this strategy with Blemishine before, but Eunectes without +12 aspd leaks, and there was no way for Blemishine to defeat 2 invisible swords. Unfortunately her lower DPS means that Shu got stuck attacking the defender instead of slaughtering the swordsmen like I wanted, but she does have the damage and healing to kill them easily.

Just occurred to me his strategy would also work with Hoshiguma who is better at killing dogs and would let Shu go ham on the swords like in the thumbnail but people asked for Nian so I'll keep it this way
Nian S3 combos with Shu S3 somewhat nicely since it lasts 45s, which is how long Shu takes to charge up S3 again
so it wasn’t just me, she actually does beat the shit out of mobs lmfao
her normal attack animation looks exactly like the no horny bonk

Lol yeah Shu's atk is higehr than you'd expect. I tried to have her stall a boss once and then looked away while I deal with the other door, but then the boss reached half health by getting smacked by a leek and used his skill lmao

cn poll in which Saria was always in the top 10, well Saria came out in the last one in June at 32nd place when Shu was at the top. Shu is definitely too op and very fun to play
Saria still has S3 which has the unique Arts fragile and has overall more def, Shu makes Saria Y way more valuable so you can use Saria as a Pseudo Protector with the crazy Arts buff
Saria has always been here to buff arts damage and help nuke things anyway

When you need protective buffs like damage reduction and HP recovery over time to be at the top, Saria is always the top on Shu :V, not to mention Shu is op limited and Saria is not.
Any operator becomes a dps if you stall long enough-

Shu S3 does little damage to high DEF targets, but Shu S1 and Saria S1 are the exact same skill

"The next attack will heal a nearby ally with less than 50% HP for 180% ATK.

Saria has stronger stats due to her talent: For every 20 seconds Saria is deployed, ATK +5% and DEF +4%, stacking up to 5 times
But Shu's talent is better: When healing allies, Shu sows the tiles they are on and the 4 adjacent tiles, granting the following effects: Recover 70 HP every second and gain 10% Shelter effect.
This means that:
1. Shu AND her allies will take less damage due to Sanctuary/Shelter despite having lower stats.
2. Shu will healing more because she has passive healing that just works off skill. Shu is the first healing defender to heal off-skill. 70 HPS sounds like nothing but medics actually have a relatively slow attack interval, so it's actually quite decent.
Saria does have the free SP talent, but with S1 it's not really a big deal even if she has X module level 2+.
I'm not even comparing their S3s lol
