I haven't seen Declan Rice having a bad performance in this season. He is either okay, good or exceptional. He literally boss the whole midfield by himself. His physicality, stamina, positional awareness, ability to clean up counter attacking opportunities, interceptions all world class.
He nearly missed the game today too as apparently was vomiting yesterday due to the sickness bug going round. Top top player.

Yeah he definitely got that one wrong. Even when he said it I was thinking how wrong it was, it really is a balanced midfield 3: one defensive player, one offensive player, and havertz who is sort of a offensive-leaning hybrid player, decent defensively, with some height and excellent ball retention skills. Very well balanced midfield

absolutely cooked Milner forcing De Zerbi to change him, created so many overloads and chances, half-assist for the 1-0, could've easily scored if he was a bit more clinical
That's the crazy stuff, he may not be having his best game but he can still produce quality moments to win us the game as shown in the umpteen times he has done so already this season. Now imagine he actually goes for it on an actual good day, the opponent's left flank will be devastated by his attacking advances. Honestly, i think what Saka knows this season is to at times go about his business conservatively and not get injured senselessly. No point always charging through the bylines and getting hard tackled by defenders and then end up being prone to injuries. Take things slowly and more measured and alternate in between that; that seems like a very good plan especially ahead of a very very long and arduous season. Starboy will always be lit!

Salah is an all time premier league great. Potentially the best winger to ever play in the Premier league. Football isn't all about stats but when you're putting up salah numbers for 7 years consistently you can't ignore the levels there. If he was european/south ameican instead of African he'd get far more respect and acknowledgement and that's coming from an englishman

De Zerbi's insistence on playing out from the back just won't really work at a bigger club. May be effective for a while, but in the big games the press will get to you, just like Ange
A little variation would not have hurt. Some long, some short...don't know how much good it would have done though with Saliba & Gabriel as well as Havertz aerially. Mitoma/Gross & Co aren't winning headers...Declan makes winning the 2nd ball a mission. Not sure what they could have done differently tbh accept try to draw Arsenal in like they did.

Zinchenko Cannot Defend and Havertz' goal was lucky in that he couldn't miss, because other than that Havertz did Nothing. Raya still gives me palpitations whenever he is playing the ball out from the back. Good to see Man utd get a result at the scousers.😊
