Seems like you were going faster than the cars were for most of that ride. I don’t get why anybody would want to drive a car in Manhattan. My friends convinced me once to drive into the city and it just wasn’t worth it. Take the train, it’s so much easier, and I think it even costs less money. Even if you don’t want to bike around, I think subway+walking is so much better than sitting around in traffic and trying to navigate a car around that city.
