I think 7th apartment is the best! It’s such a cozy space🌟 8th is cool and I liked it, but bedroom space is so small! I would chose apartment 7🤍
I agree
same
SAME! That corner in the living room was everything
Agree, 7 looks much better and cozy number 8 bathroom was just not it that weird orange color for that price is not it
I say apartment 7, it just really stood out and was really pretty and had a great surrounding space! and it was just so clean and nice! oh, I also loved apartment 3 just because it was so unique and the doors are gorgeous! no matter what I think you will find the right apartment! 😊🌷🌿
I would feel way more comfortable in the 7th one, because it looks very cosy, the building is really nice and more human scale. I don’t like very high floor.
I also liked the 3rd one !
Anyway excited for you !!
apt 7 looks very cozy...!!! love it
loving these types of videos!!! I"M ROOTING FOR APARTEMENT 7!!
Hello, I'm General James Charles McConville from. Quincy, Massachusetts, United States, I'm presently in Ukraine helping with Heavy war machines, weapons, Are you from the states?🇺🇸
appartement 7 seems so good to live in and I think that out of all you asked for, this one definitely completes most of everything and fits you so well !
Just a note that paying more than first and security up front is illegal. Legislation was passed in 2019 making it illegal for landlords to receive rent up front to protect tenants :)
Thank You for that, I did not know this.
This is no longer true. They did pass legislation banning broker’s fees, but the real estate lobby sued and the ban was overturned in 2020. Broker’s fees are still legal in NYC.
@@georgiasmith7615 there’s no limit on brokers fees. There’s a limit on tenants only being able to pay first and security up front, and not several months of rent to secure an apartment which was mentioned in the video and is illegal.
There is no cap on brokers fees. I’m very familiar with NYC tenant laws and I am a native.
It can be a bit confusing though because typically they tell you how much the broker’s fee is in terms of the rent. I paid the equivalent of one month’s rent as the broker’s fee on my place so maybe she was just confused as to what they meant. I don’t see how tenants are being protected if you still have to pay a lot upfront
@@georgiasmith7615 it depends on what type of apartment you’re looking for. In NYC there are also “no fee apartments”. There is technically still a fee that’s “baked” into your rent. No fee apartments can be better for budgeting because you can more easily filter based on your budget. Renters can choose to look for “no fee” apartments instead of paying standard one months rent (15% of annual rent is typical right now), but competition is fierce for no fee apartments and many people are bidding over asking.
The protection was that once you pay x months or a year up front tenants would lose all leverage if someone went wrong and would have to take their landlord to court to get their rent money back, which is lengthy and expensive. No landlord is just going to give a tenant back their money, and this can leave renters is really bad positions monetarily if they find they need to vacate an apartment if it becomes uninhabitable.
You can legally withhold rent by putting it into escrow as a way to get a LL to make repairs.
If a renter doesn’t have credit, they are sometimes better off subletting (many people will just confirm income) or paying a guarantor company than paying 4+ months rent up front.
I think 7th apartment is the best, but i loved 1st one also, with big patio, it will be perfect in warmer days.
1, 2 and 7 are all great. Worth the money to have enough space and light since you work from home. No need to rent office space or extra storage space, and think of all the money you'll save NOT spending workdays hanging in cafes LOL. I loved 3 because I'm a vintage nut, though!
Apartment 3 is my favorite 💗 excited for you to enter this new chapter in your life! The feeling of getting a new space of your own is unmatched ✨
I would love to take apartment 7th!! Nice lighting and cozy! The reason 8th is the second choice is due to stairs which might be a bit tiny for you guys for carrying big pieces of furniture.
This video doesn’t apply to me at all since I’m in my 20s and still living with my parents but I love you and your videos so much that anything you put out, I’ll watch! Super interesting to see all the types of apartments and gave me ideas on what I want in my future apartment 🥰
I really loved #1 -- something so cool about that patio and it was freaking HUGE.
im really rooting for apartment 7! it has a really nice view and its cozy. also the kitchen counter tops are so cute!
I think the 7th apartment has so much character into it and kinda fits your aesthetic. Good luck! Make sure to choose somewhere safe.
I personally love the 7th apartment the most! Hopefully you would be able to get one of the units in that building when they're available!
Love this video, always get so excited to see you on my subscriptions feed 🥰❤️
Omg ... my friend lived in the same building as apartment 7!!! He loved it.
I loved the one close to central park omg the big windows and natural sunlight
I really love you videos! Keep it up💗🧚♀️
1,6, and 7 were my favorites by far!
Getting in-unit laundry in my NYC apartment was the ultimate upgrade splurge, as wild as that is to say 😀
i loved this !!! props to you for filming all of this in the midst of moving across the country (:
I'm rooting for the 7th Apartment, it's so cozy. I think things will work out for your style of living. ❤️💚
apartment 7 is a literal dream! so cozy and really fits your aesthetic ✨
omg i was hopingggg you’d do an apartment searching video!!! ❤️
I would definitely choose apartment 7th. It’s amazing. Love the kitchen 😍
I read comments before video and when we got to 7.... I understood. 😂 it looks amazing! That shot through the windows at the street was amazing, what a homey space
I love love Apartment 7!!!
I live in a north facing loft apartment similar to the last one and I'll say that I'm glad it's not south facing. During summer because heat travels upwards the apartment can get pretty hot and with direct sunlight it'll trap even more heat so AC cost sounds scary. I get really even bright light all through out the day since I have tall ceiling and windows and have been really happy overall. Just something you might want to note!
just recently visited nyc and i hope to move there someday, loved seeing this video ☺
Apartment 7 has my heart honestly
For someone who commutes to work or school daily, proximity to the subway would be a "must have", but if you work primarily from home it's not as big an issue. I'd also want to have a reasonably-priced supermarket nearby.
Good luck, 🥳7or8. Omg $$$$ big coin!! Ur gonna miss Cali💖!, You both will make a great decision.Sad to say bye to Cail and hello to NYC. Hugs! 🥰
the 7th is perfect! so prettyyyy!!! 💗💗
7 and 8 were really nice spaces!
3,4,6,7 is my favvvvssss!!!! exicted to see which one you guys choose!
Apartment 7 or 8.. love those two 🥰
First apartment is my favorite because of the size and the large patio. My second favorite is apartment #7.
Excited for you to be back in NYC 🤍
omg #3 the details im obsessed
The lobby for apartment 8 is to die for!
Honestly I really like the 7th apartment if not the 8th one !!
I'm at the beginning of your video but I just wanted to comment about your must haves list. I've been in an apartment without central AC for a year and I think it is really manageable if you're able to afford and install additional window units. I never thought I could tolerate not having central air but it's no longer a must have for me. I'm in Cincinnati where the midwest weather can get extreme on occasion but it's mostly mild. Disclaimer: I'm from Florida originally so I can take a little heat!
i am obsessed with those corner windows in apartment 7!! a dream space
There are so many amazing apartments for 3K. But again it really depends on what you want. Especially in Brooklyn they have some amazing apartments.
Number 7. As a New York City real estate agent, number 7 was the best in my opinion. Light, spacious, renovated, the trifecta!
thanks for the video
been following you since your ootd videos. So nice to see ur channel growing!
loved this video! enjoy your move :)
This is totally not relevant, but I love your style and chill vibes!! 🥰❤️
All the places you toured were so nice!
Apt #8 for sure it’s gorgeous!!
loved looking at all the different appartments; We are going through a similar process moving from central France to the south of france; We want to rent a house, budget of around 750.00 euros, but they are hard to find; Thankyou for sharing these, and i am new to your channel; good luckx
The 7th apartment is the best to me!
can u make a video on how to build ur closet
💕love ur vids so much💕
The 7th apartment was too good. would have picked it up in a heartbeat.
Apt 7 was so dreamy 😍 8 was more 'amazing' but 7 really felt good
Apt 7 is the best imo. Good luck!
I think apt #7 was the best one in my opinion. I hope you find a good apartment!
Loved apartment 7 😍
7!! I loved the corner in the living room
i’m obsessed w 7 and 8 omg
My jaw DROPPED when you showed the 8th kitchen
i don’t even live in nyc but i lovvveeee these videos
my fav is 8!! so unique :)
Hope whatever apartment you choose will protect and keep you safe! Good luck 💖💖💖
I really love apartment 2 😍
apartment 5 & 7 have my heart
i loooove apartment 7, so cosy
Ah so good ım like your vlogs❤️ from Turkey🌸
Have lived in LIC for a year now, I love it! Feels much safer than midtown where I used to live, especially after covid
#1 and #7 were my favorites!
Omg you’re coming back !! I loved your apartment tour because I’ve lived in queens my whole life and always see other apartments in other states and cities with so much more and less rent 😭😭😭 but I wanted to tell you that I got the marble table you have in your living room because I loved it so much from your video !!!
My fiancée and I are looking for a 2 bedroom condo and my must have is an open kitchen, lighting , and a laundry in unit. I want to be spoiled with my laundry in unit 😅
I love apartment 7!! I was always curious how those apartments in LIC looked because I work over there by the Pepsi sign! I thought they would be larger !
Is your current apartment going to be up for rent and will you recommend it? :) Im moving to LA in June and would love to live in your 2BR if it's 3-3.5k!
I liked #8!! Maybe another unit in the building with a south facing window will pop up!!
omg apartment 2 is the BESTTTT
aw 7th apartment is really nice!!!!!
I loved apartment 2 so much❤️😍
As a long time New Yorker, NYC specifically, 30 plus years renter, i would say, most, if not almost all of NYC apartments do not have central air and in unit laundry, and for sure the very NYC typical apartments do not have laundry in the building, unless its new, condo or a co-op. its just a very NYC thing to carry your laundry down the block or the nearest laundromat. If you grew up and been renting in NYC for a good amount of time, you will most likely venture out of manhattan and get your money worth in other boroughs like Brooklyn and Queens and we get plenty of good lighting in our space out here.
Hi Yuyan! loved this video - I also love the canvas bag in the thumbnail photo!!! Can give us the info?
I love that 7th apertment 🤩🤩🤩
A little surprised you were set on Midtown. For your budget you for sure could've done 2 bedrooms in Brooklyn
Apts 7 & 8 were very nice and spacious!
My personal favorites are 1, 2, and 7. All of them have so much space and windows with such good lighting! I would personally go with 2 since it’s more to my taste.
The 2nd, 6th and 7th are the best
I’m all about the outdoor space…number 1
holly shit, apartment 8 is EVERYTHING!!!
Wow not able to imagine, see, light on a cloudy day.
its not expensive if you know where to live. location is key but even being a bit farther in Queens is not a big deal, I'm still 20 min from the city and pay 1750 for a one bedroom that is huge!
i think you use zoom out feature for the video for touring of apartment, which made the apartment not to be seen in its actual sizing and shape, everytime you move, the focus of it moves and hence change the shape of the apartment
I think I liked 8 the best. But I would kind of do it like a studio and have my bed downstairs, maybe a murphy bed where its a couch when its up, then put an office upstairs.
The 8th apartment is stunning
number 7 is the one!!
The kitchen in apartment 8 🤩
instantly apartment 7. im fine with the color of the floor. but yeah, please choose 7. the view is so cozy.
the 2th, 7th and 8th were the bests but THE SECOND HAS A WINDOW IN THE BATHROOM that is a big pro
omg i just sew the pants you're wearing on urban outfitters
I love the 7th apartment!,!!
7th apartment is the best 🥰
