Normally I have seen kids at this age are very clingy to their parents which is normal but Annika is already such a FREE SPIRIT individual. So bubbly, expressive and cute she is. Please never stop her from being a free spirit ❤
Annika is very attached to us too and separation anxiety is a daily struggle in our family. But we do also continuously encourage independence and a can do, free spirit attitude. She’s just most comfortable practising those while we are around and near her, and we don’t entirely want to discourage her from that.
Mesmerizing. Wonderful vlog as always. Annika is metamorphosing into a beautiful butterfly. Finland has been on our bucket list for some time lets see when it happens.
Helllo Johanna Vinod and Annika 👧🏻had a lovely time 🕰️ out in Finland 🇫🇮 love the 🏕️ camping trip around Finland 🇫🇮 just relaxing watching you beautiful 🏕️👍
Hanko town looks so pretty✨😍 and those Salmon fish and French fries looks delicious😋 sis...have to say one thing why everything looks like a picture perfect places in Finland🇫🇮 what a beautiful and unique country❤
What a beautiful video, amazing nature view, your joyful moments, Annika was too happy to play in the beautiful nature, beautiful sea view, amazing sunset view, overall it's a very refreshing video ❤
That spectacular view from your camper window is unparalleled ❤ I'm sure you guys have enjoyed every tiny bit of it❤especially you, Johanna. For you, "come back" home for a summer vacation must have been a mix of emotions. After all, the homeland is a sweet home where we feel belonge, loved and understood the most. Your salad plater at the restaurant would have been my favourite part. I would devour it to the last. I'm mesmerised by the designed villages in the Hanko(Finnish Swedish border), its simple but elegant wood houses, bike ride way, the lake, the rocks in the wood. That rock sediments in the woods reminded me of typical Swedish landscapes, which we get to watch in swedish films❤ You're both gifted to switching countries whenever you can. That is the upside of an international relationship. The downside is that you're way too far from your homeland and beloved ones. I believe the poor Finlad you mentioned in this video during the late 18 and initial 19 centuries has to do with war that your ancestors had to win against Russia. Such a situation would make any country poor. Annika seemd to have fun throughout the video❤
Especially Finland's southern/western coastline has a very strong Swedish influence after about 500 years under Swedish rule. There's a lot of that same type of architecture, the towns can even have Swedish as the majority language etc... Most of Finland's old, historical towns are on the coastline, which are very beautiful and interesting places to visit! But those were also the places where Sweden's ruling elite would reside and not built for Finland's benefit per se. Finland wasn't poor because of the wars against Soviets during WWII, the big factor was that for centuries we weren't independent. First we were under Swedish rule from 1300-1800s and then 100 years under Russian rule before our independence. Both countries took advantage of Finland's resources and people as labour. Even to this day many Swedes may hold onto a stereotype of Finns more as drunkards and peasants below the Swedish elite's standards, and us Finns still see ourselves also often as the underdog against them and view Swedes as elite. At least during the Russian rule Finland got a status as an autonomous state, though we are generally much friendlier with the Swedes maybe due to the more similar cultures and the fact that we didn't fight wars against Sweden in living memory. Sorry for such a long reply but it was such an interesting topic I couldn't help myself! I could write even more, but I think it's better to focus on the beauty that we have these days and I get to share with you! :)
This is a wonderful kind of quality life YT has allowed for its RUclipsrs. I hope it can be like this forever.. How lovely. India and Finland both are good for children, growing up pains, education, values in life and its conditioning and certain sociocultural forces acting on its communities. To get the best of both worlds would be a great combination for Annika's upbringing. Wish you and your family the very best in your future endeavours. For now, enjoy the present. Seize the moments. Plan for achieving the strategic priorities in life and work out your plan wisely. Good for you both. GOOD FOR ANNIKA and for her future. Manage your lives well. With Love from Malaysia.
Well we were also mostly avoiding the more crowded spots :) The bigger crowds would've arrived maybe a day later for the weekend and summer's biggest event of a famous sailing regatta.
Beautiful VDO, beautiful Park , beautiful sunshine and beautiful people. Your blog reminded me of a poem I quote " this our life ecempt from public haunt finds tounge in tress books in running brooks and seremons in stone. With love from Pune. God bless U.
Hi Johanna, great to see you all having fun in Finland; such a lovely place, light years away in tranquility from a chaotic India, a country we also both love, but certainly, not as tranquil as Finland. Anika is so boisterous and happy in Finland, I wonder if you are considering ever moving your family back to Finland? Stay healthy and happy. Hugs to all from my very own sunny 24 C° Portugal spot. ❤❤❤
@JohannaNorth Ohh Lord..u hv a way to go still...maybe Anika will beat you to it and will attend school there...imagine that! I can't believe what a loquatious "parrot" she has become, a lively beautiful one at that!
What a fantastic video in the company of a fantastic family 🥰 Camping has a charm of its own. It's the most soothing experience to be lost in nature, especially in the beauty of Finland 😊 I enjoy watching your videos and your narration, Johanna. Kudos to Vinod for the amazing work behind the camera and little Annika whose chatter is so cute to listen to 😊😊😊
Beautiful place...but best part of all vedio is...when anika was in india with their grandparents and playing in rain ...that time her father making vedio of her and she immediately said "PAPA PHOTO LE LE"these hindi word when she said looked so cute...❤❤remember anika's mother ....I love that part of your vedio. ...when anika with their grandparents ...plss make.shorts of it
Another stunning video, what a paradise! Johanna, you've enjoyed growing up in this Scandinavian paradise, with world-class education and healthcare, clean, orderly, quiet, disease-free, pollution-free environment, lush greenery, highest standard of living. Why would you not want the same childhood environment for precious Annika? Given a choice, Indian parents would gladly give an arm and a leg to raise their kids there. But they don't have a choice, you do.
I think it's important that Annika gets to do parts of her growing up in both of her native countries, to give her a firm sense of roots in both and an identity in both cultures. And of course above all the most important thing for her is that her family, as in her mom, dad and herself, is mostly together and settling in Finland is not on option for us at this point in our life.
Well, you all look healthy and well. It's so clean and scenic where you are. Anikka seems so happy, beautiful and speaks so well. Hope you all are settled. Tks for sharing. God bless.

How do you like your choice of Oatmilk Johanna? I need to pay special attention to heart health as of late & thought I may be wise to try it. Also noticed some high flying drone video in your recent postings. Is that a new toy? 😊. Such a wonderful chapter. Thanks so much. 💋❤
Yes, I really like it from the selection available in Finland :) It's really good in coffee and some smoothies, and I definitely prefer the taste over milk which I anyways try to avoid. And indeed the drone is a new toy we purchased just before this trip to better capture the spectacular landscapes!
Hai Johanna...hw r u.... Summer in Finland is really really beautiful ❤ Has Annika started going to school in Finland? We would like to know the educational. system in Finland 😊
Maybe i expressed myself unclearly, i cant remember specifically how i put it, but I meant the region is majorly Swedish-speaking. Not necessarily by a MAJORITY, but with a major/very big Swedish community as in Hanko 😊
Normally I have seen kids at this age are very clingy to their parents which is normal but Annika is already such a FREE SPIRIT individual. So bubbly, expressive and cute she is.

Ideal couple , ideal family & perhaps ideal parenting 😍❤️😍.
We’re not perfect, but we try our best and to always improve 😊
Annika is a nature kid❤ . At this age, she s so sure and matured .
