Well,I feel that I've always had trouble in any social situation.I've tried very hard to turn that around but I'm still very uncomfortable around people,all through life,since childhood.As you pointed out,lots of anxiety and fear.And being the 'fun one' is just not my strong suit.So I guess Saturn retrograde in capricorn(FIFTH house) does explain this trait/flaw of mine.But would this placement have these effects in other areas too(aside from socializing/friends)?

Pay attention to your responsibilities to siblings, friends and education? I've got Saturn on the 3rd cusp. Perhaps there is Karma to experience with siblings. I have a subconscious thought that I will end up responsible for my 11 year old sister, as my parents are growing older.
3rd house could be communication/writing and verbal expression with surrounding network. Saturn would represent this as practical application and part of your resourceful life coming together. Saturn is karmic also.
