Is it hard to get a PLOC if you have good credit (760) but a really high DTI ratio? Say 53%? Velocity banking will only work for us if we do a PLOC or HELOC, but I really doubt we'd get approved.
I’m struggling to find a bank that has PLOCs. I bank at a Credit Union, I have a great credit score, no late payments, great income, etc. I’ve looked at other banks too. They only offer personal loans & I always have to clarify I’m looking for a PLOC, as if they’ve never heard of them. Please advise on where people are finding PLOCs. You may have to change banks, or CUs. Put in the effort, call, email, go by and ask. That's what I did You have to build a relationship with them. Google search. If you're doing all this they may not be available in your area, and u may have to use a CC. Hope this helps.
I have several bank accounts and one is at Navy Fed CU. I got the same response as you. I checked with the bank my mortgage is through Keybank and I was just approved. I had more success with a bank than a credit union. I hope this helps😊

I recently got a preapproved line of credit through the mail from another bank for 20,000.00 at 11.19 percent I was thinking of paying the first line off with the new line of credit So I applied for this preapproval on line and they said we are now opening your new line of credit on the next business day. My question is how do I know if its interest only or principal and interest payment ? Thanks.

I've been watching your videos and am really interested in in the velocity banking approach, sounds like a no brainer. I just bought a truck and am about to start the payments on a 60 month loan, not to mention my mortgage so this would be perfect for me. My only problem is that my bank does not offer a ploc at all and they are not offering a heloc right now "due to current market conditions". Would you recommend trying to get a loc from another bank and is it possible to get one without a savings or checking account at that bank?
We went to our credit union and asked for a PLOC and they offered us a OLOC. There is no fee to use money...interest is 13% and its revolving and also attached to our checking account. We only got approved for $5000 to start. Is this the same??? We can move money around as needed. I was just confused the bank lady had no idea what a PLOC was...only a OLOC. I Should mention OLOC is a overdraft line of credit for those who don't know.

A PLOC is just a personal unsecured line of credit loan, which requires more stringent approval, because if you fail to pay it back as agreed, you loose nothing but your credit rating. The bank is taking a high risk. It’s an unsecured credit card….. sorta. You get an account; not a card.

720 usually, other data points are involved. Humans don’t approve you. Computers do. Got to know what to input. Pretty simple.

I bank at MAX FCU. They have a PLOC but it is referred to as a Revolving Line of Credit. Maybe use different wording when you ask...

hi does the line of credit brings the fico score down when you pull money line credit card or it is only the hard pull like the loan

My credit union doesn’t offer loc. many banks do not offer loc unless you do direct deposit with them.
