This. I first played this game when I was really young. Never could get past Telos, was to scarred and Peragus haunted me. The music of KOTOR II has long been ingrained in me to be spooky, uncertain, and especially unnerving... and that is why years later I remember it.
I first played this game when I was really young (7). There were so many topics and themes that I did not understand at the time, but I always felt unnerved and afraid when playing this game. I had rented it from Blockbuster video when they did video game rentals back then. It took me months to get out of Peragus, then nearly a year to escape Telos. Why so long? I was afraid. This soundtrack and the themes of KOTORII made me anxious always. Those memories of my yout stick with me. I finally finished the game years later on PC as a teenager thinking myself braver... I was wrong... I had already been conditioned as a child to feel a sense of fear everytime this soundtrack began playing. Now as an adult I listen to this soundtrack again and still feel fear and it is a work of art. For me this IS Star Wars at its peak.
Man I’m glad I’m not the only one who discovered this game as a kid when it came out. I was 10, so a little older than you, but I also had to put the controller down a few times before I could make it through Peragus. This game absolutely nails the atmosphere that it intends to create and it all starts with the opening levels (including the Ebon Hawk prologue). Peragus is terrifying. You can feel the lifelessness on that ship when you play for the first time. It has this “something’s just not right” vibe. I was able to piece together some of the story from the terminals and whatnot, but I definitely didn’t fully understand the plot. And yet the game is so brilliant that you don’t need to understand every little detail of the plot to “get it”. Just a masterpiece of a game but Peragus especially takes the cake as one of the best opening levels of any video game ever.
Commenting to let you know that I've played this mix many times. You've done a great job with this playlist and I hope more people will find it! Quality stuff
I'm going to be the odd one out and not post "W" in the comments. =p I just wanted thank you for uploading this. I love KOTOR music, and this is a great compilation for studying and working.
Thanks! ~ I too also love the KOTOR series, It really is a wonderful piece of art that we have been blessed with in the history of games! I am so glad that I had found this game and played it from an early age because it truly is just a fantastic game with wonder, intrigue and adventure :)
@@theelusiveman9706 Wow, that is so cool! ~ Do you have a picture you could share with me so I can see it? I have not played starfield yet but I have seen some gameplay of it, I am not literate on the game though but would love to see your creation! :)
@@GameRelax_0991 I do have a picture, quiet a few actually lol. It’s the only ship I use now and I play on Xbox, so no mods. Obviously getting the inside right would be impossible without mode. So I went for mainly outside looks. With that said some of the inside looks similar. Anyways I’m not sure how to send a picture on here or I would.

I wouldn't call this music relaxing. Whenever I hear it it makes me think everyone is plotting against me.

Kotor 1 was more tranquil, especially the soundtrack. Kotor 2 was meant to be darker, as such the tone is more dark and cataclysmic.
@@mcd3424 and the most coolest thing that after walkthrough it feels like home...

Hardcore Nostalgia starts at 0:59 😍
it's what you hear a couple hours per game at least, optimizing equipment.
This game is with us always.
Relaxing? Oh my dear boy, there is no relaxing in KOTOR 2, no respite nor peace. Only a sense of temporary safety in between missions.
I have come for the Jedi!
Found Sleeps-with-vibroblades
I love this game

@@GameRelax_0991 Indeed it is a magnificent series, to say the least. I recently made the Ebon Hawk on Starfield.

I wish it could be longer... :)
Эта музыка одновременного тревожит и завораживает
"Anxiety Relief" this game has the most unnerving ost...

Sorry but I don't find Kotor's music relaxing at all, I just find it dark and depressing.
Listening to it removed from the game makes it sound so... bland.
