If you don't know, the last wife really did survive because she was almost beheaded but was able to basically talk her way out of it which is really cool
I don't think they lied with their painting about Anne - I think he was embarrassed that she didn't recognize him and he decided to tell people she was ugly.
Okay, we NEED to see your reactions to the six songs belonging to the wives. Aragon - "No Way" Boelyn - "Don't Lose Your Head" Seymour - "Heart of Stone" Cleves - "Get Down" Howard - "All You Wanna Do" Parr - "I Don't Need Your Love"
Late to the video but enjoyed your reaction! Of this cast, only 3 are still performing with the show on Broadway (Andrea Macasaet, who plays Boleyn; Brittney Mack, Anna (not Anne for creative reasons) of Cleves; and Samantha Pauly (K Howard) and their contracts end in about a week from now on December 4, 2022. (Sore point among the Queendom (the community of fans) that their contracts were not renewed). The new cast starts the following day. But you have plenty of opportunities to catch Six the Musical because in addition to Broadway there are 2 North American tours (designated as Aragon (1st tour) and Boleyn (2nd tour)); the show on the West End and a UK and Ireland tour; Amsterdam; Australia and New Zealand tour; and I believe on 2 Norwegian Cruise Line ships. The Six franchise has exploded. (Case in point: the now Grammy-nominated Broadway Live on Opening Night cast recording has surpassed 25 million streams in six months.) Each Queen draws inspiration from one or more pop singers (e.g., Aragon from Beyonce; Howard from Ariana Grande; etc.) The song lyrics are super clever, lots of plays on words while conveying the messages effectively. Some of the tunes are ridiculously catchy, so expect to have them stuck in your head. The performers have been strong, the sets awesome, and the costumes clever (e.g., both the beheaded wives wear chokers on their necks; the crowns are all different and mean different things) and very sparkly. (Also, it's all women on stage, including the 4-piece band.) I highly recommend, as long as you're not a stickler for historical accuracy. (I highly doubt that Anna/e of Cleves was horse-faced; probably more that Henry was petulant about her not falling in love with him at first sight (and not knowing it was him and I'm not even sure that she knew English, and even less likely the obscure custom of surprising a woman in the name of discovering true love.)) But then again, history was recorded by men with their own motivations (and both Boleyn and Howard were victims of politics more than anything else, in my humble opinion), so why not give the women a chance to claim some power? I hope you get to see it and you enjoy!
If you do react to more songs from Six I recommend the Broadway version cast recording album, I think its sooo much better then the west end and includes way more parts and emotion that arent in the west end version
I just recently started watching your videos and I love your reaction to Six the Musical. It is one of my favorite musicals ever! I am such a big history nerd and I love learning about the Tudor era. I know you will love the rest of the soundtrack. Another new favorite musical is & Juliet which tells a different story of Romeo and Juliet and it is pop music form. Where they mix up popular pop songs since the 2000s like Backstreet Boys, Kelly Clarkson, Katy Perry, etc
Catherine of Aragon (Wife 1/Divorced) was Spanish Anne Boleyn (Wife 2/Beheaded) was English Jane Seymour (Wife 3/Died after complications with child birth) was English Anne of Cleves was German (Wife 4/Divorced) Katherine Howard (Wife 5/Beheaded) was English and finally Catherine Parr (Wife 6/Survived) was English.
I’ve seen both the OG West End and the OG Bway cast, I think the Bway cast has a better harmony set up and they have more fun than the West End. They look like having fun is the number one priority and singing comes in second. The comment about the last one not being fully accurate is talked about at the end they say “nothing is for sure nothing is for certain” because some of the stuff they say is strictly to keep the story moving Both very talented groups however
This is so funny because I’m a huge Warning fan which is why I was watching your videos but I also saw Six recently so have been enjoying watching reactions to that too….I wasn’t expecting a crossover 🤣 If you can I’d recommend listening to some of the performances by the West End cast. I think technically the Broadway cast may have the edge but the American accents throw me off a little.
I really don't like the Broadway performances half as much as the West end cast for the most part I don't know specifically why, but the Broadway performances don't leave an impact on me
If you don't know, the last wife really did survive because she was almost beheaded but was able to basically talk her way out of it which is really cool
Btw her name was katherine parr (:
she died of childbirth with her 4th husband 5 years later
I don't think they lied with their painting about Anne - I think he was embarrassed that she didn't recognize him and he decided to tell people she was ugly.

Boelyn - "Don't Lose Your Head"
Seymour - "Heart of Stone"
Cleves - "Get Down"
Howard - "All You Wanna Do"
Parr - "I Don't Need Your Love"
SIX
MEGA SIX
I DONT NEED YOUR LOVE REMIX
OMG I would love to see you react to the other songs, they are FANTASTIC as well
According to Henry VIII Anne of Cleves was the first ever Catfish 😂
Okay now I HAVE to see you react to their individual songs
Each Queen has her own song talking about their side of the story. They took some artistic liberties though.
Would love to see more Six reactions especially since you know the stories so well! Maybe do don’t lose your head next! ☺️

Katherine Howard (Wife 5/Beheaded) was English and finally Catherine Parr (Wife 6/Survived) was English.
