    I bought an early model and have had no issues, it has been a great purchase. I would say this review was spot on..... kinda spendy at $2000 but the best money you can spend on your game i you cant get out and golf.

    Nice set up inside. I am curious how far you are standing from the Net Return when you hit? Assuming you have 2 x 5' hitting mats there, looks like you are 7-8 feet from the net, is that about right?

    Is the skytraks worth it? I've had a good friend use the gc2 and said he just couldn't get it to work well. Constant patches and problems with missed shots.

      I’d say SkyTrak is worth the money. It gives pretty accurate data throughout the clubs. I haven’t used any of the less expensive launch monitors, but reviews seem to show that they become less accurate as ball speed increased. SkyTrak seems to handle the driver as well as it does the wedges. If I lived in a cold climate, I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase the net return along with SkyTrak.

      @@MikeSullivangolf Thanks! I actually already own the net Return. Just on the fence with the skytraks mostly because of the cost

    With this setup can you play virtual courses? Or would you need to purchase overhead monitor and hit into net/screen? Thanks in advance! Ps I like the music!!

    • @steverawlinson6172
      @steverawlinson6172 6 лет назад +2

      You can play virtual courses if you buy separate PC software for that. You don't need a projector and hitting screen (but that obviously makes it better)

    How far back do you have to be from the net? i have a flight scope and need 8 feet of ball flight and I am wondering if i would be able to use this net setup with my flight scope indoors.

    • @MikeSullivangolf
      @MikeSullivangolf  5 лет назад

      Hi Juan, the Flightscope will work with the Net Return. You just need the space in your indoor setup. Since I work with some higher handicappers who add loft to their shots, I sometimes get close to the front of the net to avoid wedges going over it. If you hit some of your shots really high, just start with clubs that are strong lofted enough to keep the ball low enough.

    I love your dog just sleeping away behind you and not even flinching when you hit. Do you have trouble aligning the laser with a teed up ball and driver?

    • @MikeSullivangolf
      @MikeSullivangolf  6 лет назад

      Hi Mike, In the past, I had trouble with the laser. I think SkyTrak fixed the issue with software though. I just get the laser close and it works almost every time! Cookie is pretty much unimpressed with anything I do at work!

    Hi Mike. Great video! I have the Net Return. Great product. Looking at buying the Skytrak. Can you say where you bought your hitting mats from?

    • @MikeSullivangolf
      @MikeSullivangolf  6 лет назад +1

      Susan Barnes, Hi Susan, the mats are commercial grade. I don’t remember who our vendor was. They’re made for outdoor use and are extremely expensive. I recommend purchasing a mat from The net return.

      Thanks, Mike. Actually, bought a great mat from Real Feel Golf. Country Club Elite. Very reasonably priced.

    How much is the skytrak set up?

    • @MikeSullivangolf
      @MikeSullivangolf  Год назад

      Hi Sara, I'm not actually sure what the set up costs now. It's probably more than when I first filmed this video. It should be easy enough to figure out on Rain or Shine Golf. Here's the link depending on what set up you are looking for.

    Hello Mike, great video.
    Firstly kindly let me know which is this song at the start & at the end.
    secondly i am living at a remote place and we are few golfers here. we intend to make the golfing studio using skytrak and play on wgt.
    is there more better or cheap options than skytrak?
    if we buy skytrak and we do not buy the yearly improvement programme whether we still be able to play wgt through skytrak or not?
    we are all ready to spend any amount upto and less than 10,000 US Dollars
    Regards and best wishes

      There is nothing cheaper than a skytrak that does anything like it. The next step up is a GC2 which is more than double the price.

    Btw don’t listen to what he says where to launch it if you slice it and you don’t have a monitor. If you launch it where he says you will be push slicing it which is just worse

      Hi Tory, We have an indoor/outdoor studio with huge doors. I opened the doors so there would be enough light for a good quality video, otherwise, it would be toasty warm in here!

    Just because your ball launches left doesn't mean it's out to in swing path.

    • @MikeSullivangolf
      @MikeSullivangolf  5 лет назад +1

      Hi Brandon, thank you for the comment, the ball starts in the direction that the club is facing. In most, not all cases, the club face and path are moving/facing in the direction relative to the target line. The ball curves based on how much the face is open or closed relative to the path. Launch monitors that measure the club itself are great because you can gain knowledge about what is happening with the ball and club. The SkyTrak measures only the ball, so it’s not as exact as we’d like it to be.
