Your video would be worth watching if the pictures you show during your discussion of each town were actually all pictures of that town. Also Castine is pronounced Cassteen. I won't even try to correct your mangled pronunciation of Isle au Haut. Also, why do you suppose Bar Harbor remains "popular to this day"? Could it be because of Acadia National Park?
I was intrigued by the video where it showed the Peace Bridge and Reedy River Falls, the Westin Pointsett and a skyline of the east end of the city of Greenville, SOUTH CAROLINA, as well as the cross on the cliff at Pretty Place, Greenville County, SC.
I noticed that too, having lived in Greenville SC for 15 years. As soon as I saw the curved bridge and the falls I knew it was Greenville SC, it's a very distinctive location.
I have lived here my entire life and cannot imagine being anywhere else. I'm happy none of the greatest places in Maine are in this video, which features only the most obvious locations which appeal to tourists and summer residents with little imagination. So where are these greatest places? I'll never tell. We like it that way.
Castine certainly belongs on your list, but a number of your photos in that section were not of Castine, like the harbor & the other lighthouse. Dice's Head Light IS on the point that is Castine, jutting out into Penobscot Bay.
The Greenville you all are showing in this video is Greenville, SC, not Greenville, ME. It’s a little deceiving to people who may be trying to find the locations you are showing.
You guys missed one of the expensive islands in America lol…. Hawaii islands 🌺🌺😂 Nah nice video. Shows the beautiful of Maine. ❤️ Thank you for the video
Yes, Maine is beautiful but we're full. Please do not try and move up here. The York County town's such as kennebunkport and York, (to name just few) are overpopulated and almost impossible to drive through doing the summer months as they are overrun with tourists. Plan accordingly when you come and visit and don't be in such a hurry, this isn't New York or New Jersey and showing some courtesy to the locals when driving goes a long way..
Maine looks cool and sounds great but I lived there as a teen until I was 23. It's a hard place to live very cold, people are not always welcome to new people. Things are more expensive there too. I have lived in Ohio for over 20 years and I raised my kids here and now I'm a grandma of both boys. If your born in Maine u adapted to it guess but to be a new person or flatlander is what they call out of state person. I do miss the nature part of Maine and the ocean .
The "Best Small Towns in Maine" are NOT just along the coast as most out-of-staters assume. I was born, raised and spent half my life there - and I had no interest in coastal Maine at all. In fact, there are a lot more "best towns" in inland Maine...
There isn’t anywhere safe in Maine. The “Police” are illegally installing surveillance equipment in other people’s homes and vehicles without probable cause and broadcasting in extortion rackets via directional speakers, voice over power line communications where ac motors are used as speakers, and live-streaming. Gardiner is the LODEST Town in Maine. There are remotely accessed surveillance equipment and directional speakers everywhere where any criminal around the world can broadcast in. There is five to seven directional speakers aimed at my house and another five to seven speakers within hearing distance so they can hold virtual meetings broadcasting into my house in violation of Maine’s Open Meetings Act. In addition there are three electromagnetic weapons aimed at my house. The “Police” broadcast in 24/7 noise, threats and demands for wealth and I am awoken and kept up in the middle of the nights. Maine “Police” lost their taxation authority two years ago when civil asset forfeiture was banned, but they stopped pretending to enforce laws and went straight for extortion rackets.

Exactly!!! Scammers
Amen to your very perceptive observations.
The AI voice and frequent ding of the subscribe bell also detract.
Bar Harbor and Kennebunkport are my favorite
Boothbay Harbor
I have spent many weekends in boothbay….great area

Stunning places!i am looking forward to go and visit them all!
You are showing Greenville SC.. that was NOT Greeneville, Maine
Thanks. I knew that wasn't anywhere in Maine. I know the state fairly well
Someone on the show forgot to do their homework 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Great list.
I have never heard anyone pronounce Castine like it's a spaghetti. Obviously, the narrator is not a Mainer. Great video of the beauty of Maine.

Maine is beautiful and Camelot
How about Belgrade Lakes Region?
You talked about Damariscotta but you did not mention the well renowned October Pumpkinfest
I had to be 50 years younger and emigrated from Belgium EU to Maine
you didnt mention ATVs one of the biggest atractions in Maine out distancing other sports in all seasions like $billions in dollars
Why isn’t Ellsworth on this list ? Not considered a small town ?

We only call them flatlanders if they move here and try to change our way of life to the crap they ran away from.
That's Greenville, South Carolina! 😂😂😂and don't move there! They're full!

We're going to Maine in July but I really don't trust this video to be giving me accurate info.
You totally forgot to mention Bucksport, Maine!!
Oh PLEASE.... Castine is pronounced Cassteen.
not Castineeeeee just Castine - soft e.
Will someone please teach AI how to make a travel video? This has all the ingredients, but thrown together so randomly it is cringeworthy.
You have got to be kidding - this is a joke!!! You are showing Greenville, SOUTH CAROLINA, not Greenville, Maine. Makes me not trust your station.
Yes, you need to learn how to pronounce 'Castine' ....
It's a good place for criminals to hide out..or retire......spending their blood money........q

This is why pot shouldn't be legal here. You be trippin'!
Way to many undesirables coming up . Crime and drugs are becoming to familiar to a state that was once bucolic.
I grew up in Maine in a small town. There was plenty of drugs and unsavory people back then too.
