Abstract: The Quantum Unique Ergodicity (QUE) problem concerns the quantization of a classically chaotic system, specifically focusing on the equidistribution of eigenfunctions in the high-energy limit. This talk will survey the QUE problem for arithmetic surfaces, highlighting its connections to automorphic forms and the subconvexity problem for L-functions.
