Thank you for this. My company is working on our compliance and this is a really good interpretation of how to meet these controls!

Thanks for these. I'm studying for my CMMC CA exam and these are very helpful. I showed my friend your video to share the love and he thinks you were racist based on your ghetto comment. I told him it was probably just a gaffe. Just remember there's a lot more people in this space these days that have come up from humble "ghetto" beginnings when doing your thing. Keep up the great work.

      1) You are welcome! We're stoked you got some value out of these videos and it's exactly why we do them, to help others who are trying to understand all of this and help them get a little further along and ultimately help defense contractors be more safe, secure, and improve their defense related businesses which we think are so vital to our country's survival and safety. Best of luck on your CCA! For sure there is a big need for help in this area.
      2) In regards to your friend's comments: Your friend is simply wrong. We run one of the most culturally diverse, equal opportunity, and inclusive companies in the world. We take great pride in that. In fact, from a personal and internal perspective company culture, quality of life, and client care come way before profit here.
From a personal perspective, in regards to that word ghetto, it was not a gaffe, it was a joke. If you watch our videos, we take the tough dry subject of compliance and we make it colorful with edgy dynamic jokes in order to make learning far more digestible. You can likely take one look at me and guess about my rough age and the jokes I make and know that I grew up on a steady diet of culturally diverse music and arts where the word ghetto is used frequently and it has nothing to do with race at all. In fact, I try to bring a lot of pop culture jokes and comments to these videos to make them more entertaining and frankly to make them more fun for us to make.
In regards to those who have grown up from "humble ghetto beginnings" - I absolutely get that... I am that guy. I started this business when I was 20 with nothing in my childhood bedroom and no my parents weren't rich and never gave me any money. That is exactly why I make these videos - to give highly valuable knowledge about this complex hard to understand subject which is normally hidden behind giant pay walls and get it out there where it needs to be for free so those who want to can better themselves and make the world a safer place from some very very bad people. I have every right to use that word in that context including other reasons that I won't spend time going into.
Here's my final thought for your friend - I am not a racist. I can only think to myself that if someone is looking for it, I suppose it's possible to twist my words into whatever they may think.. but before you judge... hopefully you'll pause next time, maybe assume the best of intentions instead of the worst. The world is a happier place when you do. Here's the crazy part... in my generation we all did grow up together equally without those walls. Call it Utopian, BS, whatever you want, but that's my lived experience and that's where I come from. I don't see race, I see people and I act and live accordingly including in my words. I think there are a lot of people who worked very hard that came before me to make that possible and I am not going to take it for granted or throw away the opportunity.

Not as boring as most/all CMMC videos. Good Job.
