  • In honor of the Olympics going on now, I thought I'd mess around a bit with 1996's Olympic Summer Games for the SNES featuring the most enigmatic Olympian of all time, Kevin. Someone once said Kevin could be the greatest athlete in history if only he'd apply himself, and that's on full display in these games.

    Kevin!
The token regular person competing in the Olympics for reference that everyone is asking for

Yep. I can't help but wonder how Kevin would fair in these games. Probably the same as he does here.

You were faulting across the line in the javelin throw EDIT: and the discus right after. LOL

that's what I thought about the javelin but it didn't look like he crossed a line for the discus, at least not to the other color. I don't really know how it works, though

Classic Kevin. A bold strategy indeed!

Love it. My fool character in games was always named “Petat”. A simple unintentional and unfortunate misspelling of Peter that somehow stuck. Petat was the ultimate loser. He had the reverse Midas touch at anything he participated in. Kevin is from the same stock 😂

Ha imagine a Kevin Petat team, doing doubles tennis, relays, etc.

@@LetsPlayWithBrigands I do wonder how they passed the trials to get to the Olympics and then turn in such an amazing display of incompetence lol

Kevin only comes through when being properly motivated by the Wet Bandits. All those other countries better watch out for all his traps the next summer Olympics. 😅

Haha not sure how the IOC would react to that but we need that crossover.

Most of these are all a single event (decathlon) but it would be pretty nuts to have a all in across the board competitor that made up an the team for an entire Nation haha. Sounds like Jim Thorpe actually
