Honestly, as someone with depression and anxiety, there are a lot of songs by Ateez that I relate to and make me cry. Especially Hongjoong's lyrics and self-made songs. He really knows how to hit home.
wanteez doesn't get claimed or copyrighted on youtube, that episode is a great example of the main couples/friendships in ateez that are seemed quite made by destiny if you know their story.
i had a feeling that Turbulence would get to u, it gets a lot of atinys, I remember when i first saw the lyrics (shit was really hard at that time) n i couldnt help but just sob. even know, i avoid listening to turbulence a lot cause i know id cry, so i was crying with u sis. Dont worry about showing emotions. this is YOUR channel n u are human at the end of the day.
Yunho and Seonghwa have similar range and are often assigned switching parts, for example, the part of Answer you liked that Seonghwa sang is sung by Yunho in the next pre-chorus. If they have one sing the first part of a verse and the other the second, often their order will switch the next time. Vocally, Seonghwa's voice has more of a cry to it than Yunho's. Yunho sings first in Turbulence followed immediately by Seonghwa so you might be able to hear it there. You were right--it was Yeosang in the classroom and Hongjoong in the tunnel. I'm not sure whether any one said it, but you got them all correct at the end of Treasure. BTW, Treasure, along with Pirate King, we're the title tracks for their debut album.
P.S. If someone doesn't cry while listening to and reading the lyrics of Turbulence, their heart is made of stone. JK, but really so many reactors have cried watching it. You're in good company.
Honestly glad to hear that because I felt silly for crying especially when I hardly know the group or anything. But yeah turbulence is an emotional one for me I won't lie.
They just released an album in july and are now currently finishing their last leg of South America and Asia Break The Wall world tour. I saw them for the third time in less than a year last week :D
Funny you mentionned Wave during turbulence cause the end of Turbulence is actually the melody of Wave. And don't worry about crying, it won't be the last time with ATEEZ !😂😂 while ateez are known for their very anthemic, catchy and intense songs, boy their bsides can get you very emotional ! Regarding Mingi and Hongjoong's raps, they did that a lot in the begining, they used to briefly call themselves Tom and Jerry during their rookies days because of the difference between Hongjoong's high tone and Mingi's low voice (also Tom and Jerry because they had that type of relationship !)
Don't worry. Like, if it helps, I always tear up while listening to Turbulence. Let alone read the lyrics as well. It just gets to me. The music, the vocals.......everything.
Check out the life performance of Treasure + Precious for a great mindfuck lmao they connect lyrically, musically and even through choreo. It's beautiful. Both songs represent the beginning and end of the Treasure series so it's very special in that sense too.
Thank you for this reaction. Answer is hands down my favorite Ateez title track its so beautiful. Also dont feel bad about not getting Yeosang and Yunho quickly, a lot of new Atiny often have a hard time picking them out. Yunho's voice often blends in or sounds like one of the other members. (Hes my bias and probably one of my favorite people in k pop. He's still pretty underrated in my opinion despite his amazing range.) and Yeosang didn't have a lot of lines in their earlier songs. Yunho, Wooyoung and Yeosang were more dance focused in a lot of their songs but eventually all got more line distribution. Yeosang's lower tone doesn’t often "fit" the "pop" sound and he was very shy about his vocals at first so of them all he got the least lines until recently.
Thank you! I can regonise them all so easily now that it feels weird to think I ever had trouble 😂 I saw them live at the start of November and Yunho especially had such an amazing stage presence where he was always catching my eye. I definitely have so much love for all the members. And I'm glad Yeosang gets more vocals now - his lines in Halazia are still my absolute favourite thing. I still have a lot of their discography to listen to, but from what I've heard so far on my channel, my top 3 songs are Halazia, Answer and Wave (with about 10 others tying for close 4th place)! ❤
🥺 Why does that lowkey make me love him more? 😭 I listen to Halazia a lot on Spotify at the moment and his deep voice is one of the things that always stands out to me!

Yunho, San and Seonghwa are known for their deep AND high tones.

You can hear the melody of wave at the end of turbulence.

That sounds amazing, I'm already wishing I could ever get to see them live!

Facts.
Yeosang didn't have a lot of lines in their earlier songs because he was very shy.
