Room669 is suffering from 2 problems: There's way too much unneccessary shit and it's very inconsistant what the player can interact with. Just image playing chess with 50 different figurines but you can only use 8 of them.

I've been wondering for the past YEAR since I made it why the game had so many downloads and I could never find the actual video that people were coming from. I just found this today and I'm ELATED. 669: Instructions Not Clear Straight Away the game. I'm guessing it was made for the exams; if so, it succeeds at being a game. It could have used the inventory mechanic, though.
Suspirium: Feels like a demonstration of interesting game mechanics rather than a game. I like the protagonist's design; simple yet effective.
The first game almost made me vomit of laughter.
Room669 really reminds me of the unchecked insanity of the environments in the Katamari games.
Its so funny when some stupid stuff happens and vinny quietly closes the game.

Yes Tank controls can be wonderful Vinny (but from watching you playing that last game that didn't look like real tank controls because you kept changing directions when the camera angle changed instead of going straight)

i do that often (i have watched almost every stream, probably) but watching live its priceless, and a much better, much more immersive experience. My comment was not a critique, was more of a joke, i know Vinny is american, so he streams with american timezone (im from Europe, so its normal he streams often, for my timezone, at 5 am :D )
there is. The video is the same, the experience is different. Plus, live you can interact with other people and with Vinny himself, give advice to the game, help with solutions to technical problems (happens all the time), and then there are the moments when Vinny flips, gets angry, screams etc. Those are pretty much priceless when caught live

Flagy feels like one of those "games" that were created through pre-rendered CG, shown off in films like Tron, The Last Starfighter, The Lawnmower Man and Hackers, and weren't actually real
I finished college just a short while ago, and it's hilarious hearing Vin's reactions to Room669. That shit wasn't a parody. Colleges consist of absolutely filthy hordes of overstimulated children without proper supervision breaking and making a mess of everything in their immediate vicinity. The only part of that game that was wrong is that all of this was portrayed in a cutesy and charming manner, when in fact it is just annoying for anyone who actually intends to be studious, and a degenerate influence on the nation. Somehow, this interpretation made sense once I saw that three of the four developers were wearing thick-rimmed problem glasses. Undoubtedly this state of degeneration and destruction is beautiful and freeing for these people.
