I combined a Spigen case with a deckmate kickstand mod with the travel cover from #7. Best of everything. Light case with good coverage and good feeling grip. Good kickstand you can swap for a battery if you want and a travel cover for an overall lighter kit. Spigen is a bit hard to take off or put on though
I'm loving the look of case 2 and have it in my wishlist. I'm not allowed my deck until my bday in May, so I'm trying to get the best accessories for it now. My wife got me the 512gb deck. So I need the best for it.
You only need 1 case, Dbrand killswitch with travel case , thumbgrips, track pads, screen protector, cost me about 100 al toegether but you get wht you py for, its tight as hell, no loose ends, for the phone i use ghostek nautical or otterbox defender with screen protector, but i have ghostek nautical on my s23 ultra an killswitch on my steamdeck 😊😊😊
I want the kill switch too but my only concern is water protection. The kill switch doesn’t fit in the steam deck case without the thumb grips and travel cover on from what I’ve heard meaning I’d have to buy another carrying case when I’m on the go. Thoughts on this?
As usual very helpful, and must tell you that your videos have inspired me actually to buy oxp mini pro 🙂🥰👏👏 and worth to mention that it all started with your videos for Steam deck.
Do you know of any more shell case like number 7? I'm looking for alternatives, something that would cover the shoulder and trigger buttons like the kill switch but something that's not too pricey.
Awesome video man but I got a question for you I hope you can help me I wound up buying the Benazcap Case for Steam Deck 2021 Release because you said the grip was really good but now I want a hardcover so do you think if I bought the one with the hardcover would it fit on that case over the top cuz I want to keep this case cuz of the grips please let me know thank you.
@@pauldeshield thanks for responding I just really like the grip on this but I guess I'll probably wind up using the original case the one with the hard shell I mean.
My wife got me one for Christmas from Amazon that's an updated silicone design. It's the one with eh Zelda looking emblem on the back. It really is a great cover. I just need to modify it for the docking plug. Maybe use tweezers for the sd card ;p lol
I'm debating between the Supcase Unicorn Beetle Pro and the Jsaux. I have used Supcase Unicorn Beetle cases for other things and like them but I like the clear back of the Jsaux if I decide to do a skin. I don't really use a kickstand. I will probably end up just buying both.
ayo can you review the mumba blade by supcase. looks to be less beefy. like is it hard plastic or rubber type? AND most important will your number7 cover fit with the blade? a mix and match type of thing. im lookin to purchase and ya make some good points i just haven't seen an actual review of the blade so im curious about it. thank you and more power.
I'll check out the Blade case when I get the chance. But from looking at it I don't think the cover will fit, it's a very specific size/shape and there is no extra space.
Sadly They don’t. That’s why its my least favorite case. Because it has to be stretchy to fit on the device. There is no way for it to become loose. I recommend a hard case instead.
Definitely getting the Spigen. Always get their cases for my phones and they are always cheap but quality. The clear plastic case would be cool if it had a rubber / grippy cover tho.
Just bought a Deck secondhand and waiting for it to arrive, so thanks for this video. Very helpful!
Happy to help. Anything else you want to see?

That sounds like a great combo. 👏🏽👍🏽
Can you show me how this looks like? And does the cover fit well? I have the spigen case at the moment. Thanks
I bought case #8, ANNAPRO case, thank you for sharing, I really like its appearance, it looks cool, the texture is actually good!😁
excellent video! using time stamps, and clearly labeling links to each case. SUBBED!

Case 2 is a pretty good option, but I think there are better options. If the clear look is your flavor then it’s not bad. 👍🏽
i've jumped to all timecodes to just check which cases were in this video, all i've heard was "okay" 😂
Okay. 😅🤷🏽♂️
Thanks for watching. 👍🏽
Nice breakdown of the cases!
Thanks 👍🏽
What do you want to see next?
Nice video, thanks for testing all of those cases!
Jsaux actually offered a replacement case to the kickstand case because the kickstand wasn't great.
Yeah the stand on the one I have is definitely a weak point. Case itself is good

Any specific video idea you want to see?
@@BarelyAverageDude try and check if anyone's of these somehow fits to OXP mini pro 🙂
@@mayankritiTV I wish. Sadly, the OXP Mini dimensions are too different from the Deck
I have a yuanhot case and I love it. Has a great kickstand
Link?
Subbed, appreciate the comparison, very informative
Thank you. Glad it helps.
Anything else you want to see on the channel?

@@BarelyAverageDude Nothing for now, I'm actually buying the cover case after watching your video. Thank you.

Great Vid. Looking for a case for my new SD
Thanks. Hopefully you find one. The new one from Jsaux looks good 👍🏽

Unfortunately it won’t fit. Maybe you can try to mod it, but that might end up destroying the case 🤷🏽♂️
@@pauldeshield thanks for responding I just really like the grip on this but I guess I'll probably wind up using the original case the one with the hard shell I mean.
can case 7 front cover fit the supcase casing/case 6
Unfortunately it can not (maybe it you modded it) 🤷🏽♂️

They are both great options. The Jsaux feels better in the hand, but the Supcase is more rugged and has a better stand.
you checked out the new jsaux modcase? it has a detacheble usb hub , power bank , cooling fan and a travel cover
its a pretty sick package
Yeah it looks very interesting! It was not yet released when I made this video
I wish Otterbox would make a case for steamdeck.
That would probably be a great case. Call them and tell them to get out it.

How do I make the silicone sleeves fit properly?
hot air dryer? double sided tape? how?
Sadly They don’t. That’s why its my least favorite case. Because it has to be stretchy to fit on the device. There is no way for it to become loose. I recommend a hard case instead.

we need a video of cases that can be left on while u charge the deck..

soup-case 😂😂😂
dude it sup-case
😅🤷🏽♂️ Excuse my English, I'm just a Barely average dude.
Reality : None of them are usefull, cause the Deck is perfectly balanced & physically designed.
I'm glad you enjoy the Deck as it is, but for me the deck is more ergonomic with a case. So great that there's an option for everyone 👍🏽
Cases are for protcrion not balance or improving design.
@@flarkjohnson6785 so true. I actually added a case for better ergonomics and grip. 👍🏽
Can I win a case?
Lol man support not beg 😂
No.
