That was pretty interesting. I like how the GTX is a peel back grip tape. Can't wait for my new board to come to make a VLOG about my new GTX!!! Excited!!!!
“How far will it roll” is my favorite evolve weekly because it tests a lot of different situations in skateboarding and it’s about electric skateboards so yeah.
Bambooooooooo is my ABSOLUTE favorite Evolve board! Especially with the terrain wheels on....Ahhhhhh!!!! 😁. As for the why?? Because its beautiful😍, flexible🤸♂️, and I would imagine comfortable🧘♂️ on the leg. Hopefully this is a good reason to win that carbon Evolve. Despite me liking Bamboo more, I wouldn’t mind a free carbon evolve. It’s an Evolve! ELECTRIC! Longboard! Who doesn’t want the best electric longboard in the market!?
@@Highstakeshobbies Taking the battery case off will be fine, please don't tamper with the actual electrical components though. Sorry for the miscommunication! If you have any questions, please feel free to get in touch with your local Tech Department.
Charlie Serow 6 months? Thats a pretty good run if you mean your belt just wore out. If you mean you buy a new belt and it still tears itself apart very quickly after just 6 months, check your alignment from motor cog to wheel cog. for me, my motor cog was so worn out that it created a miss allignment that caused the new belts to walk off the cog and get eated by the motor.
Hi Charlie, belts are perishable parts and are subject to break down depending on how much they are used. It could also be due to incorrect positing of the motors or gears. If you have questions, please reach out to your distributor. Thanks!
anyone here know how I can carry by Bamboo board GTX better when I go inside a building, its pretty long and little heavier than my other board but I love it. Any device I can consider to buy or make, or ebay or amazon?
The grip gum you guys are using is very weird looking.. We have a hard rubber grip gum to scrape off any dirt.. The wire brush method that would definitely scratch the carbon.. And using a pressure washer to clean a deck a bamboo, if you have cracks in your deck wouldn’t the water seep down in once it dries it will shrink or possibly caused damage to the board permanently?? Water and wood really don’t go good together..
Do a video on best ways to waterproof your board! Like if you agree!!
These would definitely be useful for riders driving through the bad weather here in Canada. Thanks, Evolve!

What if I don't want to lose the awesome bamboo gt design? This is in part why I chose this board
did you find any way to do that?
(I know this is old, but for anyone elts that it might help.)
You could try cleaning it really well then adding another layer of spray on grip.
Awesome video would
Love to see more videos just like this keep up the great work evolve.

YES thank you Evolve, I’ve wanted a video on this for a while
Agreed, mines looking pretty rank aye XD
Will you guys be stocking the back grip for the stoke at some stage. Mine is good but I foresee it needing replacement at some stage.
What product do you recommend to remove the grip tape residue off the carbon GTR? A paint thinner, isopropyl alcohol or goo gone?
I love the look of the bamboo GT is there a way to make my carbon gt look like the bamboo GT please help any ideas?
I love evolve scateboard
GooGone "citrus solvent" works grate on sticky residue and it won't damage or eat clear coats allowing for a soak time without damage...
🥃Cheers🍻
Will you ship it to india
Yeah, you have a really nice deck...
Make it clean, always!
Nice video!
Doesn’t pressure washing a bamboo hurt the wood?
How can I get one?
will removing the electronics void warranty?
Yes, please don't tamper with the electrics!
@@evolveSkateboards any other suggested ways to re grip board without removing electrics? Wishing to keep my warranty in tact.

You can talk to your local Evolve HQ to see what's possible.
Is it normal for my drive belt to tear apart after about 6 months of riding every time?

I was thinking the same thing about the power washer...
Never pressure wash or get any water on your board. Doing so will waterlog your board, weakening the wood. It will also destroy the grip.
I would never use any water on a skate deck just get a grip tape eraser
Jeff looks a bit different since last time
this is not a skateboard its a fcking motorbike with 4 wheels
