Wouldnt it be easier to knit 4 pices sew them together so it turnd into one big tube, sew up one end, put the carboard inside like a pillow, and sewn the top closed?
I was thinking the same thing. Then I realized that impact the tautness of the piece. Also, having only one layer on the front could make it so you could see whatever cardboard/mat board used.
@@peggy5990 That is true. But what if you make 4 tubes that wrapped all the way around, kitchener stitched them together, and then sew all the tubes together, sew the bottom closed, put the cardboard innside and sew up the top, then you will get double layer of knitting on both sides.
