When I opened these Optic Value Packs, I quickly realized they had been searched before I even got them! All of the high-value cards, rookie autos, and case hits were removed, leaving me with packs that were picked over. 🤬

This was actually WAY BETTER than any of the openings I’ve seen! Beginning of season you probably are getting your money back. The fact you got so many green velocities is pretty good as well, seems like 50/50 at best

I’m really sorry man. Super bummed for you. And for anyone else in the comments reading this: Avoid ANY loose packs on the secondary market. Not just fat packs. That includes Amazon sellers too. The scumbags are always looking for ways to rip people off and they’re getting better and better at it.

That's the same stuff I pulled. I had a sealed box and no case hit. Nice rip! Only hits good hits I got were Bryce young Silver and green velocity

I doubt they were searched but they could probably have been weighed. In most sets hits weigh more so you can sort the packs by weight and sell the lighter ones. Plus some retail sets are just crap to begin with!

Weighing the packs is searching packs.
You don’t have to physically touch the cards or open the pack to search them.

I can see the weight of the pack, or check for thinkness, but if not open, wouldn't it be hard to see what inside??? IDK
There are a bunch of videos on how they do it. Apparently they slide the cards up in the pack until they get to the hit card spot and then can see through the white back of the pack. 🤷♂️ scummy thing to do if true. Thanks for watching!!!
I will say these packs are suspect. I bought several value packs where I pulled a CJ green velocity and a Richardson holo and other decent rookies. I don’t think value packs held downtowns but I could be wrong.
I actually pulled both of those from value packs earlier this year too! They do have downtowns, but I’m not sure what the hit rate is. Thank for watching!

@gridironrips i buy retail from Target and walmart and lot, but no packs, just blasters or megas.most products these days are all the same. I really like the rookies and stars blasters. They are fun to rip if you find any.
