brill i remember playing a gig yrs ago....for fun i decided to scrap my solo on one song completely....stepped foreward to "do the thing"...i just played any old shite...then halfway through the "solo"....said over mic..."oh bollox to it"..straight back into rhythm playing...(we were a powerpop trio).. once the crowd saw i was taking the piddle they roared with laughter....(someone did say "didnt know you played jazz") ...then tragedy struck as we launched into next song...double whammy....was using a ric 330...hit headstock on cab...SNAP....oops....stepped back....had pint of grolsch sitting on top of my old AC30...knocked glass over and burned every circuit in the poor thing...those vents on top let all the flavour flood in...terminal alcohol poisoning and much noise and smoke...both got viking funeral on beach next day. i was a bit upset to say least...but everyone kept mentioning that solo....cheered me up....a little bit...but my poor riccy and vox...im welling up now...
