How many times has this dude done a complete 360 in the last year.
I want to live in LA
I want to live in Vegas
I want to live in SFO
Trucking is a dead end
Quits trucking
Can’t find a non trucking job
Applies to numerous trucking jobs
Buying a car is stupid and proceeds to finance a car
Having an apartment or house is stupid. Can’t find a place to live but lives with family.
Now he’s living in a damn car
Dudes life is a train wreck but it’s an entertaining train wreck
@@Trashman702 dude your like a super fan look at this comment. I’m sure you’re older probably married with kids n all. Super creepy.
Lol
@@augustineramos_ lol I got a few years in you. Yes married. Kids are out of the house
Still a complete loser
@@augustineramos_Dude not wrong man, you need to lay out a plan for yourself and stick to it so you make progress in your life year after.
I got into trucking 3 years ago. I started in Dallas working a crappy warehouse job, then wanted to make a positive change in my life. Went otr for a mega carrier got my exp then worked for Schuster for 2 and a half years. Bought a house and 2 cars in Arkansas. Now I'm working a local trucking gig. My mortgage takes up 18% of my monthly bring home pay, saving money, and living happy. Don't listen to this homeless dumpster of a person.
I also brought my own truck, 2020 scat pack and house after 4 years OTR. You have to go into trucking with a plan or it will send you out backwards.
@@apocalyption5490 yeah.. in Arkansas
@@HaulingBonez Could have done it in many of states. I chose Arkansas. Work on your finances, and you can do it too.
Yeah it’s not all bad. Don’t listen to haters like this guy.
There is a huge difference between a hater and an opinion. It is obvious that the main focus is on content creation rather than trucking. If you were to say, "I like the culture in California, I am aware of how expensive it is and that there are better opportunities out there, but I am okay with that and decided to live in a car," that is more respectful. Instead, you are justifying your reasons by pointing out that it is true to a degree, but the issue is making it seem like all OTR drivers are basically smelly, have no life, etc., which is not true as it depends on the individual. Keep in mind that when you make a video on how living in a truck helps you save money, pay bills, etc., than make video saying that it is better to live in a car than a truck is contradictory. This is why you are receiving more negative feedback than positive. Either way, keep keep doing you.
No im receiving negative feedback from childish men who are offended by the truth. Im literally saying the same thing that other trucker RUclipsrs say about how truckers should be treated fairly and paid better but a lot of truckers are snowflakes that get offended real easy when someone says it with out patting them on the back like mommy.
You will see later on that it's not one hundred percent the case on negative feedback . Also You will also realize in the next three to six years that California is no longer the golden state of opportunity and wealth creation. It has lost trillions of dollars, which have shifted to states like Tennessee, Florida, and mostly to Texas. However, the weather will remain the same, which is a plus for you. Anyway peace out ✌️
1 thing i have noticed is his content has taken a slight hit & the comment section is @ his neck in most videos
@@smalldogz1345 yeah because I offended a lot of the sensitive truck drivers by pointing out how underpaid they are and how little they really make. Most truck drivers are not dumb but a lot of the ones that comment on my videos trolling are the dumb truck drivers. There’s no hope for them. A lot of them have mental health issues as well.
All those underpaid mentally ill dummies probably not sleeping in a car
Live full-time in the truck going on 4 years now, still basically the same weight, don't eat out while on the road, choose to only run nights and run a snow route.... 50% more pay, have a social life, don't smell, regularly take 12-16 hours off.... that's fine if you don't like OTR, but I work from home, not live at work. You can have the same $30/hr local trucking job in most of the US with a much lower COL. My home base is the company yard. Typically 12 days on, 8 days off.
Leave California and you'll be able to afford a place to live and won't have to live in your car bro. That's wild. But you do you.
@@xreediculousx naw ima make it work out here eventually I’ve done it before
@@augustineramos_ braver than me bro, best of luck to you!
@@augustineramos_ Elon Musk left California..leave b4 the ship sinks .
Idk lol, I think you’re doing this for the channel. Trolls give you clicks. You seem like a pretty smart guy.
I have my CDL class A unrestricted and currently doing Door Dash instead ..it's working better for me
@@CALILIVING-1 really? How is that so?
@@augustineramos_ working on my own time usually 8 hours m-f sat and Sunday only evenings take a day or 2 off sometimes making between 1250-1700 with pay adjustment per week it's 1099 i have a teenager as a dependent and a car payment that i put in taxes don't pay out of pocket anything exempt fuel ⛽️ i do my own oil changes and repairs
Would do the same if i was single, probably get a sprinter van or something similar
Yeah it’s really not that bad. If you do it for a few years you’ll save up so much money. You’ll be way more ahead then most people and won’t have to run otr.
I make six figures running a dedicated route with my brother. We leave our houses at 8 am on Sunday and we’re back home around 4pm on Thursday. Our trucks don’t shut off either and are well maintained.it is a 2 hour drive to work and another 2 back, but that’s only done once a week. I own a 3 bedroom 2 bath house 2k sq foot on 1/3 of an acre for 150k. It’s not a dump either. 20k truck half and a rental property. Learn stuff when your otr I used to listen to Dave Ramsey and his he money guy for basic financial advice. Location matters too. He lives in cali makes 60k and has to live with a family member or his car. It would be tight but I could still pay all my bills at 60k. I could also just get a roommate or two if I wanted or ever needed to. Not even trying to shit on you homie. Love the channel, and I know the struggle is real in call. 60k is solid In 80 percent of the country. I have a friend who works 3days a week and is home every night making over 100k in trucking.
There are those 3 nights a week jobs, the problem is everyone wants them. Local work is some of the hardest work to get.
@@augustineramos_for sure and when you do get it, you have to start at the bottom. It helps if you know someone in the company to get hired.
You just need to look for the right gig. I live in the truck, M - Friday, weekends off. Dedicated account, usually running on 40+ hours on duty time. Guaranteed $1,500 weekly. I also shower every night due to our yard being near the customer / shipper.
@@DarrkMane that’s a good gig
@augustineramos_ Yeah, my gig just runs from San Diego > LA > Vegas back & forth. I'm a CA resident and planning on moving my residence to Nevada, no income tax. I know CA has beautiful weather and everything, but there's a reason why large corporations don't have CA as their tax address. In 10 years, CA would steal over 200k + off of my income earnings alone. Just something for you think of when you're making moves in CA for jobs.
Fake taxi on Only Fans is gonna be the next video with a set up like that.
@@southboundpachyderm8603 naw you need a van for that. Hatchbacks are too small. Maybe in the back seat but not laying down like this.
I remember back in the days when the showers were $10. I dislike OTR, it's good if your in your early 20's doing it cuz after 25 yrs old that shiit succckkss.
I’m shocked a lot of truckers refuse to accept the truth. Trucking is not worth the time spent Otr. The money isn’t there if your not making 7-8k Otr your working below the minimum pay 9hr. I left trucking last year never looking back.
So where are you now making 7-8k?
You do get to shower every night Bruh, there are truck stops all over
Not always
@augustineramos_ come on Bruh, I've done this shit 25 years, there was no reason I couldn't wash my ass everyday even back when there was a whole lot less truck stops, and I worked out when I needed to...... there's a method behind this lifestyle just got to figure it out
@@eugenelovett1639it’s not true some days you have sleep close to a shipper or a receiver to be on time for you appointment which means no shower if your in a parking lot or something. Sometimes you have sleep at rest stops because you run out of time. Otr drivers have to maximize their hos clocks which doesn’t always mean they get to park at truck stops. It’s nasty af. I would never live like that ever again for shit pay.
There’s absolutely no reason you should be living in your car man. Move to Florida brother.
Florida is too expensive as well. Move to a cheap state.
Do you work in Hayward?
Lmao this title is crazy. Damn near anything is being better than being OTR
@@Ball.Daily11 OTR sucks. Some people just refuse to admit it.
I rather live in a car instead of a semi truck because trucks are slow and noisy, no where to park, no one like trucks, irregular work hours, lack of showers, can't fit most places, most trucks cant idle and dont have apu, no listening to horn fights at truck stops, no big azz trailer to worry about. No ELD telling you not to move, not DOT regulations to deal with, NO TRUCK parking signs everywhere and more.
4wheelers can park in most places without spending $20 per night. Dont have to look at the back of a trailer all day
lol the truck is a studio apartment. I wanna see how he feels after the first night sleeping in his back seat sweating his ass off and still comeback and say it’s better than sleeping in a semi
@Ball.Daily11 semi truck is a closet space and the car is like living inside of a high gym locker
@@Ball.Daily11 it is. You don’t sweat like that in the bay at night. This isn’t Az or Texas.
@@blacknight88 yeah it’s a shame that truckers get treated so bad and underpaid.
Hell no try living in your car. Your full of sheesh
thats a wild title 😂
But it’s the truth I met so many otr drivers making $600 a week running their ass off with no life.
@@augustineramos_ yeah, thats why i got into stock trading. im not working for anyone else
How did you find your current job

Hell yes, just drive to an area out by the ocean and sleep there. I frequently run Hwy 101 in the Oxnard, Ventura, and Santa Barbara areas; there are lots of people basically living along that coast/ocean. Even west of Salinas in the Marina, CA. area, people are living along the ocean... many, many actual campers sitting along that coast.
There are even a couple/three good spots where 18-wheelers can stop and sleep along the ocean. There's an area along Pismo Beach where a truck can stop along the ocean. Also, Naples, Capitan, and Gaviota are good areas where trucks can get very close to the ocean; that area is right on the ocean... just before 101 turns to go north and works up toward Santa Maria.
18-wheelers are not allowed to go through Malibu but I have done it; it's risky but I have done it at 2:00 AM. There are always cops sitting in and near Malibu but they've never stopped me. That coast is littered with people sleeping along the ocean through there.
In Cali, it can be done; the weather is good enough to be able to make it work.
This is the number two post; I'm done posting now. :)
Yeah I’ve seen all those folks in so cal sleeping right off 101 in carpeteria right on the beach. It looks ghetto but hey that’s California.
