Three questions, folks: 1. Do you have Cherry Heering? 2. What’s your favorite way to use it? 3. Which of these three cocktails are you more interested in trying? Cheers! 🍒 🥃
I finally got around to the part time lover. Good recipe. I only break out the chartreuse a few times a year since it is gone. I also use my cherry heering on a sidecar remix called a cherry blossom 1.5 oz cognac 0.5 oz cherry heering 0.5 oz cointreau 0.5 oz lemon juice
Cherry Heering's the best, and these sound like perfect cocktails to show it off. Love all the ingredients for all of these, frankly. Great selection! I think we'll give them all a try, but that Made Man sounds like the one for us. Thanks for this Vino!
@@CoachVinoCocktails I'm making cherry brandy soon and have picked out my 4 cocktails.. suprisingly didnt pick any of these, when the time comes, I'll mention and link to this video for an extra 3 cocktails!
Right up my street with cherry. Love cherry. Agree with the colours they look very sophisticated 😉 will keep a look out for cherry heering as I'm out shopping tomorrow 😂👍
Been meaning to get around to the made man. Pretty good amd worthwhile I only break out the chartruese on special occaisions I use my cherry heering for a cherry bourbon cola 1.5 bourbon 0.75 cherry heering 0.25 lime juice Top 3 oz coke
Good thing you have that cheat sheet my guy! I thought the first cocktail said Mad Men at first. One of my fav shows actually. This cocktail sticks out most for me. I have all of the ingreds. But the best part of any cocktail is always..the wink. Cheers Vino. Happy weekend! 🤗
I’m ashamed to same to say I’ve never watched Mad Med even though everyone and their mudda tells me I’d love it. Maybe this year I’ll binge it! Cheers Ann! 🥃
@@CoachVinoCocktails Vino meet Devin! Devin is a good friend from the bar! This guy does his own liqueurs and knows more cocktails from the Savoy than I do 😀 SUPER nice guy!
We've enjoyed The Landing Gear, it's a good one! I'll need to check out the other two. Other drinks we like with Cherry Liqueur include the Cherry Almond Gallette and Remember the Maine. Take care my Bronx Brother.
@@CoachVinoCocktails Here ya go: 2 oz Bourbon, 3⁄4 oz Cynar, 1⁄4 oz Cherry Liqueur, 1⁄3 oz Orgeat, 2 dashes Black Walnut Bitters Stir, strain into chilled cocktail glass. It's pretty yummy stuff!
Vino I think the first cocktail would be by fave!! They all look amazing!! I love a good stiff cocktail and I love these flavour combinations!! I can't to try these beauties out!! :-)
Vinooo, this is a fantastic episode. Months ago I did a 3-drink Cherry Heering episode as well, and was really reaching to find recipes, so its awesome to see three ones that I had never heard of-- and now must try msyelf! Always super informative to know how to put Heering to use. Cheers!
Yes, your LOST themed episode. What a great video that was. I’m gonna go ahead and link your video in my description because you can never have enough Cherry Heering cocktails. Cheers pal!
Funny, after 15 years in the wine business, I found that plain crackers always worked best for cleansing the palate. Maybe I’ll start keeping some crackers on the bar and pray I don’t spit when I talk. 😂 Thanks for watching. Cheers!
I have Cherry Heering, and really like it in several cocktails. "The Arbitrary Nature of Time" and "Remember the Maine" are two of my favorites! I'm definitely going to try the first cocktail you made. The third one surprised me, as I thought it would be way too sweet. I may try the second one, using Monkey Shoulder, Tempus Fugit Creme de Cacao, and Luxardo Cherry Sangue Morlacco. The Sangue Morlacco is an amazing alternative to Heering, very similar, with brighter herbal notes. Cheers Vino!
The Arbitrary Nature of Time is one that I’ve never had. I believe Leandro over at Barfly made that once. I really need to try it. The Landing Gear is definitely the sweetest of the three and makes for a great after dinner drink. I wouldn’t say it’s too sweet IMO. Thanks for watching!! Cheers!!
I only bought cherry heering because of you earlier in the year. I’m gonna need a rewatch, because at the gym, this killed all of my speed. Ha, the music brought my pace down…
Rewatched, so I could retain more... I think all three of these are cocktails I would really enjoy, but I think I am more interested in the Made Man. The only two cocktails coming to mind with Cherry Heering was the Singapore Sling and your Spanish Fly, both recommended by Vino...
That’s a good question. I would say it’s a bit of both but better than each. It’s rich and spicy with dark fruit, almost jam like. It’s delicious but can easily over power a cocktail if not balanced.
You are saying "cherry herring". Herring is a small fish. Even if you were saying "cherry Heering", that would still be wrong. It is Heering cherry liqueur. Heering is pronounced the same as "hearing".

@@CoachVinoCocktails I'll tell you another one, Chappys Cherry Flip. That was awesome as well.....
Love Cherry Heering as well 🍒
It’s amazing drizzled over ice cream. #secretsauce
They do sound quite interesting!!!
Not always easy to incorporate Cherry Heering but I’m always game!
Hey Vino, Those look great. I could go for all of them.
Thanks David. They are home runs.
Brilliant as usual Vino. I love Cherry Herring. Think my favourite is either a Rusty Compass or a Cherry Manhattan 🍒🍸🍸🍹
Thanks pal! I love the Rusty Compass. Good call. I need to try a Cherry Manhattan. Sounds right up my alley!
I finally got around to the part time lover.
Good recipe.
I only break out the chartreuse a few times a year since it is gone.
I also use my cherry heering on a sidecar remix called a cherry blossom
1.5 oz cognac
0.5 oz cherry heering
0.5 oz cointreau
0.5 oz lemon juice
That’s sounds like my kind of Sidecar. Saving that recipe. Thanks Nick! 🤙🏾

Thanks! Cherry Heering is really in a class of its own and I love to show it off to friends. It always delivers (if balanced correctly). Cheers!
VINO!!! My Cherry Heering bottle WILL get a workout tonite!!! All of these def look right up alley!!! I can't wait to try them!!! CHEERS!!!
I’m actually gonna need to re-up my bottle soon. I drink that stuff like it’s going outta style.

I'd order all 3 of those, just chillin like a villain with these on a Friday night 😊
Ha! Chillin’ like a villain is the only way to be. Cheers Damo!
Just made the Made Man. Delicious!
Glad you enjoyed it. So good!!! Cheers!

I use my cherry heering for a cherry bourbon cola
1.5 bourbon
0.75 cherry heering

That Cherry Bourbon Cola sounds super delicious. Like a Cherry Coke or Dr. Pepper. Gonna need to try that one. Cheers, Nick! ✌🏾
These look great. I'm going to try a Made Man tonight.
Thanks! The first one was my fav of the three.

Ok Black Label is my drink. Think naughty Charles is for me. 🙂

I've never tried Cherry Heering (that I know of...) but I think I need to get some!
Matt, if you like deep cherry flavors, it’s definitely something I would suggest for the collection.
Never heard of the Fernet! Must check it out 🙂
Fernet is delicious but it packs a punch!!
Gave this a shot
Needs an ounce of rye to balance out all of that sweet
Which one did you try?
Commented on the wrong video
Sorry
But I will try the made made man soon. It looks good. I only like to break out the chartreuse so often
I am always worried about using cherry flavored stuff, but maybe this will help me be more open to it
I agree with ya. Fortunately the specs on these keeps the cherry flavors honest.

Hello my dear friend you stay connected 🌼🌻🔔
Does cherry heering taste more like maraschino cherries or more like cough syrup?
That’s a good question. I would say it’s a bit of both but better than each. It’s rich and spicy with dark fruit, almost jam like. It’s delicious but can easily over power a cocktail if not balanced.
keep it short man.

It is Heering cherry liqueur.
Heering is pronounced the same as "hearing".
