As much as I liked this idea, I'd love to see him going back to when Master Mutaito and his students, Roshi and Crane were battling King Piccolo, perhaps being stranded there due to some malfunction, while one would change everything for the saiyans, the other would change Earth completly.

Not that it would matter much but I'm surprised there weren't a few more Saiyans or at least some hybrids found with the rest of them. Like a wild Turles appears or some half breeds were stuck in there too. There's no way a race that was depicted like the Saiyans didn't have relations whilst out on their pillaging. They're kind of like pirates or vikings. There must be some space brothels out there near space Australia or something. It would've been pretty funny if Cabba, Kale and Caulifla were there too. They were visiting Universe 7 and were wished away before anyone knew they were in the universe.

It’s probably because there was another energy interfering. Frieza’s and Piccolo’s energy canceled out the transformation.
There's probably a difference between doing the SSG ritual and just giving someone energy.
