You're so welcome. I'm so glad you found it and enjoyed it! Thank you so much for watching and taking the time to leave me a comment ☺️ I really appreciate it!
Crazy cool! I haven’t seen this before & it sure opens another door to creating texture backgrounds. I’ll be giving this a try very soon. Thanks for the different designs you created. Yes! You inspred me greatly! Bravo! 👏🏻👍🏼🙏🏻💖
Aw thank you so much for watching and taking the time to leave me a comment ☺️ so glad it's given you some inspiration and you're going to give it a go!! Definitely gives another use to those embossing folders especially if you don't want to add bulk to your cards.
I have made my own diffusers with cereal cardboard years and years ago. Thanks for reminding me of this technique. You made beautiful cards as always Laura. ❤
Ahhhh fab!!!!! Hope it's encouraged you to dig them out and use them again!! Cereal boxes is a great idea!!! I probably wouldn't have needed 4 layers of card then! Thanks so much for watching and taking the time to leave me a too! I really appreciate it ☺️
You're so welcome Steph. So glad it's been a reminder and I hope it's inspired you to dig them out and create with them again! Thank you so much for watching and taking the time to leave me a comment! x
Fantastic Laura, how clever is that, and a brilliant way to stretch your use of embossing folders! I love the added texture an embossing folder gives and this just brings it to the next level. The cats whiskers is definitely my favourite but they are all lovely. Thank you for sharing a great video ❤😘
Thank you so much Orla ☺️ I do love the cat stamps I really need to use them more! Thank you so much for watching and taking the time to leave me a comment ☺️ I really appreciate it as always! Happy crafting 💕
Love the cards! This is a technique I have seen before, but you made it approachable! I think I can do this ! The inks added really make them pop!! Thanks for the inspiration! 🧑🏼🎨😀
Thank you so much for watching and taking the time to leave me a comment ☺️ I hope you do give it a go! I really enjoyed trying it out and there are so many possibilities. ☺️
Thank you so much for watching and taking the time to leave me a comment ☺️ I agree, they would be great for tone on tone cards for weddings and anniversaries 🩷
Thank you so much Sally I'm glad you think so. I hope it was helpful. Thank you for watching and taking the time to leave me a comment ☺️ I really appreciate it!
Amazing cards again and what a clever way to use embossing folders. I'm definitely going to be trying this in the new year. Thanks again for the inspiration xx
You're so welcome Tracy! Thank you so much for watching and taking the time to leave me a comment! I really appreciate knowing that people like the finished cards. Thank you!
Thank you so much Amy ☺️☺️☺️ thank you for watching and taking the time to leave me a comment ☺️ I really appreciate it!!! So glad you're gonna give it a go!
Aw thank you so much! I really appreciate the feedback Jo. It's hard to get the pace right and make sure it's clear and informative so I really appreciate knowing you're enjoying them. Thank you so much for watching and taking the time to leave me a comment ☺️ I really do appreciate it! Happy crafting x
I love this technique, because I love embossing folders, they can bring so much to a card in my humble opinion. The cards are all gorgeous, the second one being my favourite. Have a beautiful day and thank you. Happy New Year to you too.
Thank you so much Mandy!! I love embossing folders too! I agree, they really can enhance a card!! Thank you so much for watching and taking the time to leave me a comment too! ☺️
Hi Mandy! I use 300gsm card the Craft UK brand. And I put 4 layers together. You can use any GSM but obviously you may need more layers of cardstock you could of course use a cereal box and then you may only need 2 layers of card if its thicker. Hope that helps! 😊
Thank you so much for watching and taking the time to leave me a comment ☺️ I really appreciate it and I'm so glad it's encouraged you to give it a try! I love the cat one too 😻 happy crafting x
Thank you so much Debra 😃 thank you for watching and taking the time to leave me a comment! I really do appreciate it and I'm so glad you enjoyed the video.
Laura, So very creative!! I love that you made your own diffusers!! Love all your cards! I will be trying this for sure!! There is so many different ways to use it!! Hope you have a happy , healthy and blessed New Year!!
Thank you so much Michele! So glad you're going to give it a go! There are so many possibilities with this technique! Thank you for commenting as always too! I really appreciate it! ☺️ happy crafting 💕
Very nice technique, can't wait to try it. Love the 2 folders on one car idea, my favorite is the card you rubbed the paste on, they are all very nice. Thank you and Happy New Year
Thank you so much for watching and taking the time to leave me a lovely comment and I'm so pleased you're going to give it a try too!! Happy crafting ☺️
You're so welcome! Happy crafting and I'm so glad it's reminded you of a fun technique. Thank you so much for watching and taking the time to leave me a comment ☺️
Great tutorial! I have poor results when I try to put color on raised pattern with my finger. Wish I was more skilled with that method. You did great with it. TFS 🌸🙏🤓
Thank you so much for watching and taking the time to leave me a comment ☺️ yes it can be a bit tricky using your finger with a stencil butter. I find making sure I literally just have a super super thin coating on my finger really helps so there's no blobs or thick bits. That's why I used a scrap of card to take any excess off. I hope that helps!
Thank you Debbie! I really hope you give it a go! I really enjoyed trying it and there are so many possibilities. Thanks for taking the time to leave me a comment ☺️
Thank you so much Ellen for watching and taking the time to leave me a comment ☺️ I really appreciate it and I'm glad you enjoyed my video. Sadly there aren't many of the Cat Capers stamps left. Frantic Stamper stock Funky Fossil but when I looked they're out of stock. You could put a request into them that they could stock them. Alternatively in the UK Stampers Grove have a couple left and they do ship to the US but I'm not sure if that works out too expensive. Sorry I can't be much more help. 😟
Really cool. I had a hard time watching it however, because I have a vision impairment and you only used white card stock. It would’ve been perfect with colored card stock. 😀
Thank you so much for watching and taking the time to leave me a comment :) I'm sorry you had a hard time watching due to the white card. I hope you still got the idea though and I hope you can have some fun trying it with some coloured cardstock. Happy crafting :)
So sorry Linda! I used Magenta which is a Pretty Colour Inside ink pad from Stamps by Me. And I used Dried Marigold, Saltwater Taffy and Worn Lipstick distress oxides for the 2 x embossing folder card and then for the one I used Stencil Butter on I added Shaded Lilac Distress Oxide. Hope that helps! Thank you so much for watching ☺️
Hi Kelly! Thank you so much for watching. I was using 2d embossing folders. However you can use 3d embossing folders you would just need to play around with the pressure on your machine or thickness of the difficuser as it may be slightly different. Happy crafting ☺️
Sorry you found it hard to see Brenda. I have got some close up photos at the end of the video that I hope showed the embossing a little clearer. Thank you so much for watching ☺️
Great techniques in this, never heard of diffusers in embossing folders so always interested to learn new things. Beautiful finished cards. Xx
Thank you so much for watching Donna!! I hope you give it a go! Especially as Funky Fossil have some coming soon too 😉 x
All I can say is "Wow". What a super technique. Thanks for showing the many variations.

?Are the embossing folders regular or the 3d embossing folders? Don't have those but have about 30 embossing folders, mostly 3d.
Hi Kelly! Thank you so much for watching. I was using 2d embossing folders. However you can use 3d embossing folders you would just need to play around with the pressure on your machine or thickness of the difficuser as it may be slightly different. Happy crafting ☺️
Hard to c needed to use darker cardstock just saying
Sorry you found it hard to see Brenda. I have got some close up photos at the end of the video that I hope showed the embossing a little clearer. Thank you so much for watching ☺️
