This works pretty well with the genesis soundfont :) also I like how made a section without the lead, this gave a sonic act 2 feeling or something like that. Thanks for sharing this with us 💚
I notice how heavy-handed Nintendo is becoming in taking down music. I don't think it's just about outdated copyright laws any longer- I genuinely believe Nintendo is trying to erase the very history of their own games in order to keep selling their current games (which are becoming increasingly expensive and adopting some of the worse aspects of modern AAA games; microtransactions, unfair DLC, live-service). If we have no older games to compare their objectively worse newer products, we'll be more likely to invest in their current ecosystem, which is getting progressively worse year upon year. Much like other companies nowadays, Nintendo is trying to see how much they can charge us and how much they can get away with. Whilst we admonish companies like Electronic Arts, Ubisoft and Activision-Blizzard for shouting their awful business practices from the rooftops, we fail to notice the dagger of Nintendo placed into our backs.
The reason why Nintendo are stingy with copyright is because by uploading the music from their games onto RUclips (where it can be listened to for free), you're actively (at least partially) negating any potential profitability in Nintendo carrying out official preservation acts, both currently and in the future. Just because they don't *currently* have their stuff officially available doesn't automatically mean that they're guaranteed to *never* try to make it officially available some time in the future. It's still annoying, though. They need to learn that they can't control what people in the community do with their games/music. Taking stuff down like this is just repeatedly gonna make them look bad.
Gaming and Music Wise Nintendo is good at making their games much better and how their OSTs sounds much better but them as a Business Company in general they really suck as Disney.
