I did the 3 from Bridge of Orchy side with a wee wild camp at the lochan. I picked up ben Dorian on the way back. Hard days but I loved these Munros. Great video and drone footage as always. You looked like I felt when I got back to the car. 👍
Cheers Tam, yeh it turned into a great plan B.👍 stunning views from the summits especially Beinn Achaladair.👍. It was a long slog and the bog near the end was a killer🤣🤣 Cheers for watching Tam, ATB Frank.👍🏔🥾
Another 2 in the bag Frank! Still do to these two. They have never really taken my fancy but will get these done next year probably. I have been hill quiet recently but hopefully get a few done in the next few weeks or so weather permitting!
Cheers Andrew, it’s a bit of a slog going round them but the views are fantastic👍 yeh weather and shorter days will be the deciding factor. Hopefully you get out soon. Cheers mate, ATB Frank.👍🥾🏔
Nice one Frank. A much tougher walk than it looks from the A82. Car park used to be closer to the farm than it is now and I think the approach was easier. Thanks for posting.
Cheers Graeme, I knew it was going to be a tough one as I managed up to the lochan last time with Dave before we had to turn back and that was tough. Still a great walk and the views were sublime. Cheers Graeme, ATB Frank.👍🏔🥾
It’s a wee toughie! Regardless of what way you go Frank! The boy falling in the water! Just his pride that was hurt? I had a beautiful day on these two hills Frank and enjoyed the view again. Pity big Dave never got to join you! A good back up plan and a great wee video again mate! Paulo 👍👍😎😎
Cheers Paul, certainly is a toughie, was cream crackered at the end. Yeh the guy just had his pride hurt. I slipped in as well as the rocks were treacherous, had soaking feet for 7.5hrs.🤣🤣 Don’t think Dave would have enjoyed the slog round these 2.🤣🤣 Thanks again for watching Paul.🤣 ATB Franko.👍🏔🥾
Aha....glad you got back to these 2 Frank.Great views again. That boy really did get a soaking.I think i would have headed back to the car if i was that wet.😱 The descent path is right boggy at the bottom section but i enjoyed the top section from the Bealach down by the waterfalls.😃👍
Cheers Andy, plan A was the 2 from Corrour station but couldn’t get on the train. So decided to do these 2. Yeh the guy was ready to abandon but his partner persuaded him to carry on, I slipped as well but only got soaking feet, which was uncomfortable for the next 7.5hrs🤣🤣once up on the ridge it was brill even coming down the waterfalls like you say, but that last wee section aaargh. Cheers mate👍
I combined Beinn A'Creachain and Beinn Mhanach in one hike, was aiming to do the Bridge of Orchy 5 in one day but was defeated by the weather and the intense climb between the two, saw ptarmigan and ring ouzel near the summit and had a pretty rough wild camp in the glen inbetween, loving the collaboration vids with Paul by the way! Hope our paths cross on a summit one day 👍
Hi Matthew, thanks for watching and the comment. Doing the 5 in one day would be some going👍 at my age that’s well beyond me🤣. I’m always on the lookout for the wildlife round about when hiking and it’s amazing what you can see. Took me 4 outings to get the 5 done there. Yeh I’ve quite a few munros with Paul now and loving the company on the hills, yeh it would be nice to meet and have a chat, always good to have a blether with like minded folk.👍 Thanks again Matthew, ATB Frank👍🏔🥾
Superb Frank 😍👍..Long haul those ones mate..Great effort😁💪🏻👍..River crossings and bogfest doesn’t get much tougher than that ..Iam sure that’s the route to the Gorton Bothy..I know there’s a few river crossings to it..Grest video Frank 😁👍 Cheers Robert
Cheers Robert, yeh it was a tough one alright, earned my peronis that night🍺🍺🤣🤣 Yeh you can carry on for a bit to reach the bothy. If the river is too bad you can go past the bothy and cross over a bridge to get these munros done. I watched SHG’s video when he stayed at the bothy. My crossings weren’t as bad as his🤣🤣 Cheers Robert, ATB Frank👍🏔🥾
Great back up plan Frank, I remember doing these 2 with Tam and there where lots of rats 🐀 stuck on a barbed wire fence as we came through the farm 🚜 a tough but rewarding day 🏔 🏔 great video 👏 atb Brian 👍
Yeh was glad I still had those 2 to do as they were close by, that’s a strange one with the rats. It was tough but still thoroughly enjoyed them.👍 Cheers mate, ATB Frank👍🏔🥾
That is my favourite sort of day, good weather and a feeling of real wilderness. Yes boggy and river crossings but the view and the location just stunning. The drone footage is just beautiful, thanks again for sharing what looked a tough but rewarding day.👨🦯⛰👩🦯⛰🧑🦯⛰
Thanks for the comments Chris, was meant to do the 2 from Corrour station. But with not getting on the train these 2 were a real treat. Like you say, lovely weather, absolutely stunning views especially from the 2nd munro and yes, a real feeling of wilderness, and not a moments thought about the rat race back home🤣🤣 Cheers Chris, ATB Frank.👍🏔🥾

Oof that 'bridge' looked sketchy, think i'd opt for the slippy river rocks too. Nice views from the tops.👍
Cheers Andy, yeh me too everytime, that was well dodgy.
Views were superb at the summits.

If my sums are correct Frank then that's you down to double figures to go.
All downhill now. 😉
Spot on Alistair, 99 to go. Will be a while before I get to single figures.👍
