Dad was a elder in the church of God in Christ when you get saved outside of your neighborhood or state, you learn a whole lot that you wouldn't learn just hanging around the block so I grill her dad because I didn't wanna get caught up in any kind of weird Church. All her dad said to me was come on and visit and see for yourself. I'm 62 years old and I'm still there.😂 I was 21 when I got saved and filled with the Holy Ghost, and Join church of God in Christ. I just turned 62 last month praise the Lord God is good!
I’m so hungry for just God. I can’t do church as usual anymore, tired of the entertainment, greed, man-centered ness, begging for money and condemning those who don’t give what another dictates. They tell others to give in faith, but they themselves do not trust God. Focus on material wealth, Doctrinal error, traditions of men, self-aggrandizing, unbiblical titles, love of titles, and much more. Repentance must begin with the leaders.

Please ask God to lead you to the right church that will fill your soul. God according to his word gives us Pastors after his own heart and it is written according to his word. God will lead you to a Pastor that not only teach the you the truth of the word, but live according to the word , and the church will be Spirit led (only). How do I know this? God does lie against his word, My FATHER was a Holy Man who lived it as well as those I know about. It's like accusing all women or men for something because of a few or the many we've witnessed. God is true and according to His WORD he has MEN that live and preach the Word or else he would not mandate it for us. No way! God will lead us to the path and the church of righteousness, but we can't get confused by the ones who according to the scripture "calleth with their lips, but their heart is far from me". Let God be God, you are not the only want that has according to the word have a "thirst" for God, just like you do, He has Pastors and churches that do too, just let God lead you. Before you believe what you have experienced and seen, let God show you HIS GLORY! Let HIM lead you!! I read this and the Holy Ghost has inspired me to encourage you to trust this BIG God that can do anything. There are people who live HOLY and conduct services in HOLiNESS and not entertainment. You have a heart for God and He knows it, but He wants to lead you where He wants you. Every leader is not for every soul, you need to seriously let God lead you, lady of God!!!!!! Please
I agree with everything he's saying about. Most people didn't understand about tarrying, and it wasn't about getting the Holy Ghost, some people did, but some of didn't. But the greatest thing I experienced was it taught you how to tarry until the Lord comes and you have encounteres with God and you learn how to pray through. And I believe tarrying needs to come back to the churches, because I see soooo many people coming to the altar today and nothing is happening and people are not changing. But when we had tarrying service you leave that altar changed and different because you had a encountered with God
I got saved in the 70 and I was a teenager and we had all night services on Friday nights at our church and we couldn't wait, because the presence of the Lord was always there. Bodies were healed and miracle were wroth. I was just thinking today about how we need to start back having church through the week again, because now churches or most churches just have Sunday morning services, and that's not enough and it to much space for the devil to cause people to be idle minded and worldly minded. Because you know most saved people aren't at home fasting and praying like they need to be. And the saints need spiritual things to do not all this worldly stuff. The longer you stay out if the presence of God, you will lose the desire to want to be in his presence. And this is why now, people don't even want to come to church. They'll say, O I watch it on TV or on the phone. Live streaming. As they say you don't backslide overnight. And as we see the church has backslide slowly but surely. And needs to come back to our first love.

Wow, I wasn't at Azusa but I was told that the way the Lord use my Pastor at the time, people said God use him like that of William Seymour and when I hear different ones talk about him, it sounds like they're talking about my former Pastor that's gone on to be with the Lord in 1988. We to did much fasting and praying, and shutting in, and all night services and had tarrying services every service. And I don't care what nobody says tarrying is what kept us young people and the old to. But the older saints those mothers kept us on the altar and until this day it's what kept me on fire and taught me what pray is all about and stay down there until you had your own encounter with God. And I'm sooooo glad I was brought up in those praying and fasting, and tarrying and all night services time.

He decided that he would give us something as evidence because the devil is a liar. He is always trying to blur the lines. Tongues did not come from men. It came from God who created languages and he said with stammering lips and other tongues will I speak to this people. Faith is dead without works. James wrote that. Many people like catholics , etc claim to be full of faith. And these people do not have freedom from sin. They do not cast out devils, they do not lay hands on the sick.
