We did stuff like this when I was a kid. Neighbors used the call the cops constantly. If we managed to see one on the phone we'd take them back to the garage, throw the mower decks on and then start mowing the lawn. "Why yes officer, I always mow my lawn with a 3 foot open header. Why do you ask?"
Fuck those neighbors. There's no harm and crime in tractor mudding. Old people im guessing?

I miss the lawn tractor I use at work.
It doesn't to have brakes, but it's fast. And all you have to do to take the deck off is release the belt tensioner adult hook 2 chains.
I use it to go mudding through a Canadian Spruce Forest that's on huge hills, evan in 6" of snow at -25°
My personal lawnmower is a newer John Deere and to take off the deck I have to remove over 10 nuts and bolts, 3 cotter pins, disconnect two belts and safety chains along with the sensor cables, then I have to remove the height adjustment lever otherwise the connecting rod just hangs out of the bottom of the tractor. I also don't like the fact my John Deere is automatic. Manual is much better.
@@reuben4710 Sounds kinda like my old forklift from work. It was an old 1999 Hyster, if you pushed the gas to the floor and let up a quarter of the way it would kick into overdrive. Cops set up one of those speed trailers nearby one year and I took it out to clock it. 26mph on a forklift

Looks like a CB650 motor from back in the day
that last "tractor" was badass.. having a 4 cylinder street bike engine in it.. hell yeah.

If your facing down a hill yes but otherwise no

It takes some serious effort, but welding the differential would fix most of these problems where only one back wheel spins, and makes the mowers driftable too... cars and cameras channel did it to a mower to drift it and both rear wheels are always spinning the same speed
It's such an easy fix yet so little people end up doing it in the comps, kinda unfortunate, there's so many good tractors!

Hey fearless completely off topic but I'm building a Murray mud mower for my senior project do you use flux core mig on all your machines?
i think he does because he does not use gas, if you have gas i would use mig wire, but if you don't flux core is a perfect soulution. Both are strong enough to do this hope this helps

how are these guys getting so much power out of some of these engines to do this i have a 1986 kohler 12hp and it has like no power to even cut grass lately any tips on how to tune it up good and get more power out of it bc i want to turn it in to a romper like these ones
hp is not the problem. 12 on a deck is low but if u romping it is fine. The sears runs on 5 or 6 hp. HP is not going to get you thru mud tires and speed is. To speed up you do a pulley swap
