Looks like a better version of my dye i3 mask. How is it after a day of play? Did it still feel hot, muggy and suffocating? My sweat starts to blind me because lack of ventilation and makes the mask start to slide off in a heavy feel.
This actually looks great. I didn't think much of it until I watched this review, but damn it looks like they really tried to improve every aspect of a goggle.
Honestly the best newer looking mask that came out.. i think it has a timeless look to it i think its the closest thing to a proflex to come out in recent time
I’ve been wanting another mask to replace my JT Pro-flex, but everything seems like it’d breath far less which isn’t great for me since I wear glasses. These goggles actually seem like they’d be a great investment for a mask upgrade once I have the money.
I’m glad to see that they offer a larger version. I current have the Virtue Vio Extend because I have a large face, and don’t like masks where my chin and jawline are exposed. It’s not great taking a ball to the jaw.
@@jacobc4582 Oh, I totally got some proshield knockoff back in the day that came bundled with my original brass eagle avenger. I got so nervous I went out and got some huge JT mask that had like double-shielding, and was an absolute foggy mess. Things are so much nicer these days.
I got this after used a push. The Carbon zero is perfect for me since it has such open air ways. I wear glasses and when it was cold, with push or other masks my glasses would fog up and make it hard to play. But this doesn't seem big like the JT Proflex, I have a smaller frame and my head is a little small so this is perfect for me 11/10.
Is this crbn mask comparable to the breathability, comfort, and lack echo when speaking, and ease of hearing of the jt proflex? I want to get a crbn for the style and ease lens change but the proflex is so comfortable, functional and easy to breath in. I just hate the lens changing of the proflex so much
Would you wear these over your proflex? I'm a huge proflex fan, just bought another SE version. For me it's how breathable the flex is and I also love how the visor protects my forehead from welts. Could this mask finally retire your proflex?
Also my question. I use Proshield bottoms, but still the most breathable. And all around most comfortable masks. I wonder if these are even more comfortable than JT's.
I am also a long time lover of JT goggles, specifically the Spectras aka "Proshield" bottoms. The foam and goggles are super comfortable, the bottoms breathe amazingly well. Plus the first mask I ever owned was one of these. Tried a lot of others...Grill, i5, different Virtue masks, but nothing compared to the comfort and breathability of JT's. The Carbon Zero might win, especially with how easy lens changes are. Pre-ordered, worth checking out.

Get it! I have bought it and man this is such a great mask. Changing the lens is the easiest of any mask on the market in my opinion. It comes with a case and an extra clear lens. Not to mention the ventilation is amazing and virtually no echo. Also if you wear glasses they are going to come out with a fan so your glasses don't fog up. Its not cheap but worth the price, definitely get it.
Its almost perfect. I feel the foam on the nose needs tweaked. As it pinches my nostrils a little. Cut the foam to make room and it breathes way better. The lens foam needs to ride the contours tighter. Seeing the foam at the bridge of the nose is distracting. The visor should be updated. They could keep the venting and just have dedicated post holes molding in/around the venting. This would eliminate the need for swapping the foam pieces, and keep maximum ventilation when using a visor. And the holes in the front of the mask should be large holes on top, then work down to small. Or all large holes. The mouth breathes forward into the smaller holes more than the bottome larger ones. Switching it would increase venting. Those changes would make it the best hands down. Right now. Its very very good. But could be better, and is not the best in a couple categories.
own one. play 8 hours a day back to back some days. never have poblem with it and it disapears on your face. i was rocking the BK CMD before and liked the pro more covrage better. compared to the jt proflex, the flex may be more breathable, maybe. its close. were talking 1-5% better. but the zero pro is just easier to live with and clean
Seeing that the chin and sides are super flexible, as a beginner in paintball makes me wonder if I get hit on the soft spot, will i slap my face? Has anyone got hit in the soft spot of a mask and got hurt?
I just got mine and it was misshapen right outta the box. Also that tab that isnt secured to the side of the mask is making me wonder about shipping this back and seeking something different. Might change my mind, but for over 200 bucks, I expected better quality.

The fact that these companies have brain washed people to believe 250 to 300 for a mask is still a GOOD deal is amazing to me. Maybe I'm just old school but regardless of all the bells and whistles. You're still just buying a bunch of molded plastic and rubber its a lens

Hey there, I just purchased the CRBN Zero SLD mask..... Do you have the issue with the black line on the lense at the nose bridge? I go cross eyed looking through, as my eyes focus on the black line above the nose bridge - because of the lense gap on the nose... [ Where as on Virtue VIO's - the lense black area is rounded and matches the nose bridge shape, you do not see it.
I've gone from my JT XFire to the Dye I3 then to the Vforce Profiler for many years and now the BK CMD. TBH if parts or new profilers were readily available I'd still be using them but the Bunkerkings Black Friday sales had me moving on.
It’s crazy to me that the profiler isn’t supported well anymore. They are such a great mask. Maybe with the grill revision the profiler has one on the way.
I just got my Carbon Pro Mask today and compared it to my JT Proflex (also new). I couldn't tell the $130 difference. After watching this video it's more so that JT got it right the first time. I disagree with @paintball ruined my life that this paintball mask is underpriced, its overpriced.
You are going to eat alot more paint it will go right through that grill My Conour Mask paint gets through that every once and a while it has more coverage than this Carbon Mask The Lens system is Kool

Nope they make a sweet fan so your face is cool and the lens won't fog up ! I have to say if you spend $200.00 on a mask your lens shouldn't fog up ! My Empire E Flex and HK Army SLR never fog up and I mean never ! Just saying
The fan is mainly only good for eye glasses, works well for those. Ive been wearing mine since the video came out and never and issues, but its also been 15 years since I fogged a lens.
So the extra lens and squishy bottom is the only thing that makes the “pro” version “pro”? I mean I’d rather save 20bucks and all the fat lips from this squishy bottoms

You’re delusional if you think these carbons right on your face won’t rock your shit. Bounces off Proflex bottoms, especially IZE, hurt. These carbon squishy bottoms look like almost the same material as old ize bottoms

Not at that price. I'll stick with the old flexes which cost me 1/4 the price.

Very true, they do come with a case. I wouldn't say they are similar though, the Carbon case is much more like the HK and Exalt cases.

Does the Pro version withstand a whole volley of paintballs, or is it too soft and you will be hit directly into your face?

It’s there yeah. I’ve used mine 3 times, and didn’t notice until I read your comment. Lots of masks are like that, some are much worse though.
I'd really like to try one but they need more colors. Give me some purples and teals and they have a buyer from me!

Will the visor attach to the top with the holes?
I’ve not seen it yet but was told you remove the magnets and just screw it down, sounded pretty easy at least.
It comes with an extra top foam with 4 holes as it attached magnetically.
