- So "a guy" showed up to the landfill today and wanted us to destroy his ex-wife's belongings with the Rotochopper 75DK Shredder. An odd request, sure - but we aim to please - of course we'll help!

While in the Navy during the mid 70's, a fellow sailor went through a divorce and the judge hated sailors. Fair enough, everybody has an opinion. My friend was to pack up everything in the house and ship it to her, he got to keep his Triumph motorcycle only. Judge said it's California and that is all he needs, my buddy said OK if it gets her away from him. He got a wooden crate, a trash can with Iced beers and a couple of hammers. The rules set down was toss something in the crate then smash it down with the hammers so everything will fit. All went well with his Japanese Noritaki fine China sets being the easiest, the huge oak grandfather clock presented a slight problem, nothing the Stihl chainsaw couldn't handle smoothed down with hammers. What a great time, drinking beer and packing her stuff. The shipping company collected the large crate and two days later we were on a ship at sea starting a nine month Western Pacific cruise. Haze gray and underway!

When my third marriage ended, I packed everything I wanted in a pickup and moved out of state and told her the money was going to run out soon so she and her boyfriend were to sell the house, farm and anything else and I wanted my half.

Safety First? I know all about landfill fires. We had one in Baltimore back around 1967/68. Three days on that thang! Then we turned it over to the city fire department. They spent another 3 or 4 days on it.

I understand your motive and joy today... However, thirty years ago my soon-to-be ex-wife did something similar to some of my belongings. Our children were quite upset when they found out she did that, and to this day, my sons have never forgotten. I truly hope this video does not come back to haunt you; you seem like a quality dude

You can use the servo control curcuit out of those toy excivatirs to drive a servo amplifer and electrionically contrlled valves to remote control an actual one. Very useful for dangerous tasks.
