thanks for the detail. Good tip on those foldaway 9- degree rules. Will take that tip! I recommend a japanese saw for getting into tight spaces, cutting things flush, and just general sawing. Great for cutting trim too. Really fast, also lighter than big western saw. So would probably have one of each in my van.

On the screws the 4 is not too do with the head size but the diameter of the shank in mm, like the Imperial measurements of gauge. The heads are bigger when the shank size is bigger but it's mm diameter/width

In this over-saturated landscape of WWW - "Weekend Woodworker Warriors" (Trademarked! ) - it is nice to see how pros do it...
Your comment on having to take every single box down just to get to the bottom one, is also my great frustration and a MAJOR engineering fail of tool box manufactures. But more likely, it is their marketing department: "Don't make them perfect right out of the gate! We make money when they keep upgrading!" Yeah. I'm at the point that I will be building my own boxes with drawers for my van.
Oh, and I thought, you being in Europe, you would be using Torx/star screws instead of Philips. I hate Phillips, but I still have to use some sizes, and just in case, the Makita XPS Phillips bits are the best for not slipping, and the only ones I use. I took a whole bunch of them to Greece where I go for the summer - and do some light WWW stuff - as I couldn't find them there.
