      I'm still not sure that Tales is actually in the same continuity as a 1-to-1 for events, and if it was, we'd be in the darkest timeline where the Novel Trilogy is the continuity of the newer games (HW to Secret of the Mimic)
      I'm not trying to be contrarian to the majority of the fandom with this. Seeing that we may have to consider Stitchline is in continuity as well (thanks Return to the Pit) man in room 1280 makes far more sense as an aftermath to Fourth Closet as opposed to FFPS/FNaF 6. If Henry wanted to end it all, I imagine he would've made sure nobody would come to the fire to even attempt things.
      GiBi's Horror Homestead (a channel I don't usually agree with btw) put out a video recently saying that just because we see a Tiger Rock plushie and Murray co. In game doesn't mean that Tales is automatically canon to the games, and he used other major media series that have adaptations that can be mostly faithful to their source with minor differences to back up that point.
      Final thoughts: Could MimicLine be in the games? To an extent, yes. Does it have to be one for one to the books? Not at all, it could deviate quite a bit in some aspects. I imagine if it was one for one, we'd need to rethink the Steel Wool era to be in line with the Silver Eyes novels (an idea that I've not seen a single person other than myself even consider as a very real possibility, but with more and more references and Frights simply making more sense as an aftermath to the novels (see the cursed Ella doll in 1:35am and Man in Room 1280 literally making more sense to be after 4th Closet) its possible that if TalesGames is real, then its more than just TalesGames. Its SteelWoolBooks (came up with that on the spot, but its essentially the theory that the Steel Wool era of games are in line with the Novels, Frights, and Tales, with the first 6-7 games being in universe games that were made sometime after 4th Closet and sometime during Frights. Remember they started building a mall around Freddy's before Silver Eyes, and that William had an underground Freddy's with a lake, and that You're the Band is a scrapped Frights Story and as such use of it to confirm the first 6-7 games actually happened should be taken with a grain of salt)
      Tl;Dr: I'm not being contrarian to the majority of the fandom saying Stitchline and Talesgames are happening just because I feel like it. I'm just stating what I think on the matter and providing an explaination as to why those thoughts even came to mind to begin with.

      I don’t need them to be 80s children, the little voices in the wet floor sign bots were delightfully creepy! But without a motive I just don’t care about the Mimic, and I want to care about and ideally be frightened by the big bad. @@tobysinbad This is actually why I don’t personally like the Mimic much. It’s fine as a one-off character, but with it becoming basically the sole focus of the series…it’s just not my favorite.
      I loved the “creepy pizzeria, probably haunted?” vibes of OG FNAF. I didn’t even mind Security Breach’s more bright and shiny take on the series. But when the big bad is just…an AI that’s gone wrong? It doesn’t even seem to have real motivations, desires, or a personality to make it interesting. It’s just “what if ChatGPT learned ‘bad things™️’” and now we’re dealing with a robot that’s *dangerous*, sure but just a copycat piece of code.
      It lacks a lot of the mystery and spookiness of the originals. It’s just…meh.

    For those who are saying this doesn’t solve the book debate, only that the stories relating to the Murray family are canon, I said this already but I just wanna put this here: Does it really matter?
    The whole Tales debate was centred around Edwin, David, and the Mimic. As much as some of the other stories might be cool, literally no one cares on whether or not Submechanophobia is canon or not. The only things that actually mattered were stories like Tiger Rock, The Mimic, The Storyteller, the epilogues and the various other stories that reference those events (alongside disconnected ones like Frailty or GGY, which are already obviously canon).
    What matters now is that Edwin and David, and along with them, those stories like Tiger Rock, the Storyteller and The Mimic thanks to the green and blue eyed Tiger plush, are now confirmed to be canon. Even *if* the other stories aren't canon, which is kind of pointless, who cares? They don't impact the games story substantially and thus weren't the subject of the debate.

    • @CP-zn2mg

      I hate frailty

    • @picklepepper900
      @picklepepper900 15 часов назад +4

      I mean, it still doesn't make those stories fully confirmed just yet. Just that something similar happened to what was in the book story. Just like how the silver eyes has similar characters in it with similar or even the same names (such as william afton himself), but the events are different from game canon.
      The reason people are confused and have been confused with book canon=game canon, is that it hasn't been how the franchise does it previously, and it's not how most/all franchises do it. different forms of media have adaptations due to the limitations of those mediums generally.
      But if Steel Wool/Scott want to break convention, then that's fine and up to them. It just wont be confirmed in game canon until they show it to us in game.

    • @artofcosplay
      @artofcosplay 14 часов назад +1

      @@picklepepper900 but sometimes we see consiquences of book events in games. For example mimic has springlock casing all around his leg. Springlock costume that stabbed him was shown in tftp and it was jester costume. Also we have GGY, indie developer storyline, signs of experiments in fnaf sl etc
      There are TOO many "coincedences" that are in fact the sign of tftp events. I would understand if this was a couple of small easter eggs but no. The whole game's environmental storytelling says that book's events DID happend

    • @Blackjack_979
      @Blackjack_979 14 часов назад +8

      @picklepepper900 I mean, when you show off the Tiger plush, specifically with the green and blue eyes, in relation to the Mimic, there are a lot of implications:
      A) David Murray, alongside Edwin Murray, exist. This very likely means that the events of The Mimic short story and The Storyteller occur.
      B) The white tiger with blue and eyes persona of the Mimic exists. This very likely means that the events of the Storyteller and Tiger Rock occur.
      Those are the stories that matter to the discussion of whether or not Tales is canon because of the implications they have on the games. There's no point in adding the Tiger plushie with the multi-coloured eyes if not to link it to those stories, because it holds absolutely no significance without the context of those stories.
      Scott and Steel Wool are fully aware of the debate surrounding the Tales books. If they didn't want people to get the impression that these stories are crossing over into the games, they wouldn't include these references because of the implications they hold.
      This isn't simply a situation like The Silver Eyes, because there were very clear, pre-established contradictions between the two stories at the time. With Tales, the stories are actively weaving together. Like Hyper Droid said, by separating them, it's essentially creating two timelines with the same events.

    • @artofcosplay
      @artofcosplay 14 часов назад +3

      @Blackjack_979 pretty much agree with you
      Honestly I don't see the point of denying talesgames. These people for no reasons just don't want to have book events in the games. I won't be wondered that they will continue denying talesgames even if Scott himself says that tales event did happend in game timeline

    It's strange that people are saying that "It's like the novel trilogy" because like
    - The Novel Trilogy is a completely different universe
    - Tales from the Pizzaplex require ALL the GAMES to have happened in the story

    Considering the fact that according to the trailer of SB, the Burntrap ending was supposed to be canon, I think that game was originally meant to set up the mimic arc, but since the entire story basically got lost in translation, I think Scott still had to show us the new story, so he turned to his other lore-communicating method, books. This is why these books are so important and lore-filled, unlike other books where you can just play the games and be fine.

    Things I think.
    1. Seeing how Help Wanted 2 is Supposedly the end of Glitchtrap I think it’s very likely that Tiger-Rock will take the Mantle of the new Modern Mimic Threat (we might even see a couple of the talesbook animatronics).
    2. Ryetoast made a theory that Vanny herself was a Digital Consciousness made inside Vanessa’s mind that has now been removed from her Mind and put in the V•A•N•N•I Mask we use in both Help Wanted 2 and Ruin, and now that Cassie has the Mask Vanny might take her over (I also think Vanny and Tiger-Rock could possibly team up).
    3. I think the Van could be 1 of 2 things. 1: the Van is the Van that Killed David in the Books. 2: the Van could be Henry and/or Edwin taking the M•X•E•S Console to the fnaf 6 Location.
    4. I think theirs a 50/50% chance that during Secret of the Mimic rather than actually going back to 1979 we might play as someone who’s Exploring and Investigating what happened in 1979.
    5. I personally believe that Jackie herself isn’t the Mimic but rather is either being Controlled by the Mimic1 Programming or the Actual Mimic Endo is gonna take Jackie’s Animatronic Suit/Shell and put it on as a way to hide itself and deceive us into thinking Jackie is the enemy (maybe the Real Jackie could be one of the very few Friendly Animatronics).
    6. Seeing how the Mimic is in its costume that we only see it wear when achieving the Scooper Ending of Ruin could possibly be Implying that the Scooper Ending is Canon.

      The novel trilogy is totally incompatible with the games since massive character deaths happen at different times and other significant characters or entities simply don’t exist. Scott has also confirmed they aren’t meant to be in the same continuity as the games.
      The tales books treat themselves as being “in the world of the newest games” and they directly build off the events of FFPS, whilst also setting up things that happen in security breach. They create no meaningful contradictions with the games aside from occasional design inconsistencies.

    Hey, I just want to say of the bat, great theory. I've been loving your video. I do want to talk about the book continuity though.
    I don't think seeing things from the books is enough to say they are in continuity, at least not 100% the same. If that was the case Silver Eyes should be canon because Freddy exists in both. That's just not how it works.
    We have seen books be adapted to the game with Into the Pit and they weren't 1 to 1 with the books. (Not here to discuss if that's game continuity, the point is it wasn't 1 to 1).
    There is also just blaint contradictions. Hippo Magnet, VIP contradicts Storyteller, Dittophobia isn't consistent with Sister Location, GGY just doesn't make sense with what we hear about Patient 46 or even Gregory in the games.
    Obviously some of the book stuff is game continuity but I don't think it's accurate to say it's 1 to 1. I think TalesReboot is more likely.

    • @STRMAlien
      @STRMAlien 22 часа назад +4

      Its like he says in the video, yes, Freddy is in the Silver Eyes, but Henry also dies before Afton is springlocked, which doesn't make sense in the game timeline. Tales has given us no definitive proof that it's not in the games timeline (that couldn't just be chopped up to the author not knowing the games perfectly and making small mistakes such as the dittophobia inconsistencies and the GGY stuff), but there are way more connections that support the idea of TalesGames. And this is coming from someone who didn't want to believe in it and is still totally against the idea. I think this is a step in the wrong direction and that there are better ways to tell a story than having a whole book series to explain the mess of a game you made, but I can't deny the connections anymore.

    • @HyperDroid
      @HyperDroid  17 часов назад +3

      first of all, THANK YOU. second of all I'm confused on how any of these contradict the games:
      - Hippo Magnet is directly taken from Security Breach and references it by telling us how they mess up the machines
      - VIP does not contradict the Storyteller, if this has to do with the tree not being there it's already confirmed the tree got taken down after the events of the short story
      - Dittophobia (while not having anything to do with the Mimic-connected stories and so doesn't really have to be canon) from what I remember just shows us that there's other ways to move around the underground then just vents which we knew anyways from the game when we hear other technicians using doors to move Ballora around
      - GGY is just the Therapy Tapes but, again, and along with funnily enough Freddy in Space (with Gregory shooting the Therapy Discs) directly confirms he IS Patient 46
      Also copy and paste from another reply because I've explained it IN this very video: This is incomparable to and nothing like the original Novel Trilogy with Henry, Charlie, William etc (which I ALSO already say this in this video) as they were CONFIRMED to not be canon to the games by Scott himself and have events completely different SO we know they're not canon, Henry dies before the first game even happens, William escapes being Springtrapped, Charlie is still around as a robot years later, and so much more that make it blantant they are different.

    Something for the people who are commenting about why this isn’t true or how this still doesn’t prove anything somehow, here’s something for you all to chew on for a bit
    If a book series requires you to know basic knowledge only given by the games, and the games start using characters or details first given by the books with no obvious indicators that it’s different, it’s easier to just say the books are directly canon to the games
    So many of the stories require you to understand things that are only told to us through the games, the twist of GGY requires you to know about the character of Gregory to know the significance of the story, The Bobbiedots uses tons of areas, Items, and characters that are directly from the base SB game, and the Epilogues practically require you to know about the Burntrap ending to know anything about the area it takes place in and would make zero sense without it
    This isn’t even everything that needs game knowledge but some of the more notable ones
    The games starting to use stuff directly from these books like The mimic itself, Davids Tiger plushie, small references like GGY, and concepts like AR with the VANNI Mask just seems to point that these books are just plain canon to the games. VIP even making references to Tales and The Games seems to solidify this more as it’s part of the same series as the canon “The Week Before” book. If the games start connecting and lining up with so much of the books, why wouldn’t it just be canon?
    And you could say only Mimic Stories are canon or similar but not exact stuff happens in the games, but even then why say that when nothing in either the books or games push for that being the case? The reason books like the Charlie trilogy were obviously separate was because they had things that obviously couldn’t fit in the timeline or find reasons for being that way. Henry didn’t die before FNAF 1, a Mall wasn’t built around the FNAF 1 building, and the Puppet is possessed by Charlie unlike the novels. These and other things can’t fit directly for one reason or another since it directly contradicts stuff we know didn’t happen. The Tales books only give new information of things with fully contradicting things we know about, sure their can be inconsistencies, but nothing as majorly pointed out as in the Novel Trilogy, just minor mistakes in writing or different reasons like reconstruction on the building (which VIP confirmed to be the case, mentioning construction of the Daycare and Monty’s Golf from the games).
    End point being, if the books require knowledge from the games, and the Games are using info only from said books, why argue that they’re not canon at all?

  • @JohnDoe-hj9fh

    All this means is there's a version of Tiger rock and Edwin, not that the books are canon. Even if they come out and say Edwin made the mimic that still doesn't mean the books are canon. I can't argue against it. expecially now, but I really feel like it devalues the games making the books canon. It feels like security breach in it's entirety means even less than it did before, and all the little easter eggs are just... random? Like when Scott said "maybe everyone thought I just put in random m easter eggs this time- I didn't" Except he did that time. I also simply just liked John Fuhnafs version of how the mimic got to the pizza plex better, but that's just my opinion. Anyway do the books being canon de-canonize anything from he main games? I feel like it basically eliminates AR outside of being a character diagnosis for Vanny

I personally believe William Afton used the mimic program to clone himself, and glitch trap is more of a hybrid and burn trap is the inverse, the mimic wearing William Afton’s corpse, the mimic pretending to be William Afton while William Afton pretends to be the mimic But you convinced me on 2/3 so good job

    I have a theory (more like an hypothesis really) that the HW2 teaser update actually has two teasers. The first was the SOTM and the other is a teaser for the game SW are making after SOTM (the game that Scott mentioned in the interview coming in the far future). The name of the puzzle is DoubleVision, meaning two of something. The two puzzles to me don’t feel the same. The M.X.E.S machine being here doesn’t strike me as it coming from the factory, rather than it being taken away from the Pizzaplex. You would think the machine would look fresh and clean but it’s the same model from RUIN.
    As a side note, i wonder how hard it was to not include 𝘵𝘩𝘦 song

    • @Michael-u1i7i
      @Michael-u1i7i 8 часов назад +1

      Too late. It's canon. UCN makes it clear William killed Charlie, the MCI, and one other kid (doesn't really matter when he did). The Vengeful Spirit is also clearly not Golden Freddy, because he never once speaks through it, but rather chooses to speak through the Mediocre Melodies. Cassidy is in that nightmare for reasons unknown, but she presumably does not stay, leaving the VS to continue his thing. Contrary to popular belief, Andrew is not introduced in the books. He's introduced in a mainline game, UCN. He's just named in the book.
      Also, Tales directly connects to Frights in its very first story. So if you accept one, you kinda have to accept the other.

  • @Cypher5235
    @Cypher5235 Час назад +1

    Could someone explain to me why this isn't the case? I'm not deep into FNF theorizing so I just don't know. But, can't there be 2 timelines, with the main one being the books which is the story of whats going on in the FNAF world, and the 2nd being the story of the video games that were made in their world?
    Cause wasn't it established that there is a "real" world outside of the regular games? And there, the Fazbear company made those games to try to confuse ppl about the bad things they had done. So, the games they made were the same ones we played originally, FNAF 1-UCN or up to sister location I dunno. That would explain why there are 2 near identical timelines. The books take place in the "real" FNAF world, and maybe Security Breach/Ruin/the ballpit one. And the rest are in the FNAF game world that exists as the original games to us and the game's in the "real" FNAF world. It just seems to me that would solve the "which timeline is real" argument, but I don't know how it would conflict with anything else.

  • @150booyadragon
    @150booyadragon 7 часов назад +1

    Character existing in game and book never has and never will make the books word for word 1:1 canon in any way shape or form unless you want to start considering Frights and Silvereyes to be 100% canon too. :)
    A suit style tiger plush being added as a teaser does not confirm that the Mimic spent time as a metal tiger head running the entire pizzaplex by itself yet somehow got put into gay baby jail with an entire body and no tigerock outfit. The pizzaplex also still functions yet the Mimic has no control over it so it clearly is not the brain of the pizzaplex in game lore.
    The literal only way that could be possible is if Vanny put the Mimic in gay baby jail herself and took control herself and coded an entire new ai herself or runs literally every system in the plex by herself. That also conflicts with the Mimic also being Glitchtrap because now you're saying Vanny both jailed and is trying to free Glitchtrap at the same time. It also implies she's a mega brained scientist when she's been shown to be a nobody not even qualified for the job she had and that's a LOT of things to do in a short time for that young lady.
    This doesn't even factor in MXES.
    It makes absolutely no sense whatsoever.

    I still don't think it necessarily means the books are canon. They could be, but I don't find the evidence compelling yet. It's like with Marvel, the Civil War comic book shares many similarities with the Civil War film. But the plot has major differences, so they are still two separate canons. We won't truly know until the game comes out and we see if any plot differences exist. At least, I hope we'll know then 😅

This is a situation where they still hold similar concepts and characters but it isn’t 1 to 1 the same universe.

      This isn't like that Mr. Afton reveal at all though, the Tales from the Pizzaplex stories being in the game timeline are incomparable to the original Novel Trilogy being in the game timeline for many reasons - the biggest being that Scott himself confirmed that the Novel Trilogy weren't canon and made sure the story had plenty of differences to ensure that.

    17:17 to add to this further, ruin shows that mimic was trying to come off as friendly and helpful towards Cassie, whereas with Vanessa it was harsh and controlling. Maybe mimic is seen differently depending on who is affected? Maybe Gregory sees mimic as burntrap because Mimic was agressive towards Gregory, and Cassie sees mimic as Helpi because he was acting cute and cuddly.

    5:44 Yeoooo! Hyper Droid, I love you my man. But you can’t just make grand sweeping statements like that just because the games and books seem to be sharing elements.. Remember there are still large events in the games that the book doesn’t have, like Jackie, or Glitchtrap, or MEXES.. We can’t just say everything’s one for one the same now just because Murray Co and the Tiger Plush exist..
    I’m kinda surprised you’re so quick to make statements like that when you’re such a seasoned theorist- We don’t even have firm confirmation that anything major in the games continuity actually happens the same way they do in the Tales books.. For now we should probably just be cautious and say these are just shared elements.. We didn’t do this when Charlie and Williams names matched up, or when the Nightmares were revealed to be similar to the Twisted Ones.. So why now?

      Because the mimic1 program was in some of the circuit boards scanned to make Help Wanted. So the whole "a rogue indie game developer" line was explaining that scanning and recreating THOSE games is what allowed the mimic to see all the literal games and what happens in them. Its a point that gets confusing because the meta nature of that part of the story is often overlooked and ignored since on the surface it seems like it's just a random joke but it actually explains how the mimic/mimic1 program learned about william and everything that happens in the first few games.

    My theory as to Gregory drawing Burntrap in his comic (i.e. the fake endings), is that Gregory being a kid who plays games may very well have simply played FNAF 1/2/3/4/Sister Location. Since we know the first few games in the series exist in the story since they were made by a "rogue" indie dev. Gregory doesn't seem to remember his time as "GGY" when Security Breach starts, and has no idea who is behind everything (he never sees the Mimic during the game), thus having played the old FNAF games and knowing that the one behind all the suffering in those games is Afton. And since the last time you see Afton chronologically of the games the indie dev made is in 3 where he gets burned at the end while Scraptrap, Gregory would draw him as Burntrap.
    Also; it could be that from the in universe games, is where the Mimic got the idea for mimicking Afton.

    I get your points about the books, and I agree that this update heavily skews the debate towards the Tales books truly being canon, but I still feel like it's not enough. Yes, we now know that Tiger Rock exists in the games, and we now know that Edwin also exists in the games, but are they the SAME Tiger Rock and Edwin from the books, or just other versions of them with similar stories? I mean, no one would argue that the MCU Tony Stark and the comics Tony Stark are the exact same character just because they happen to share name, powerset and major story beats. Again, this update gives a ton of supporting evidence for TalesGames, but there is still a possibility that Secret of the Mimic will show us events that parallel but don't exactly line up with the stories in the books. We already have precedents too with Into the Pit: the book version of the story is vastly different that the game version, and we're also about to get a potential third version in an upcoming interactive novel as well. So which version of this story is the "true" one? We still don't really know. So yes, I am now leaning more heavily towards TaleGames, but saying that it's "confirmed" it's still jumping too conclusions, at least for now.

Or do you mean that he is hallucination in the whole ending in SB? And he physically was there… but just (as Scott wanted) didn’t move? And that’s all in Gregory’s head? Maybe Blob… existing and acting in both main line game and DLC… confuses me… sorry if the question looks strange. As someone who was never convinced on Frights, specifically the Stitchwraith Stingers and its connected stories, being in the games' continuity, I must say that I was rather neutral regarding Tales. Then, ever since Ruin, I've always been open towards it being game-line. So having answers to the big question satisfies me.
    Speaking of Frights, the existence of Return to the Pit is yet another thing that makes me think the Frights books are their own continuity. I'll preface this with the fact that the book has been put onto shelves early in certain stores and has been leaked, though I won't spoil the exact details. To begin with, the most major part, the contents of the book contain details that make it greatly differ from both the original story and the game adaptation. Furthermore, it's in a series of games that are confirmed (The Week Before) or very likely (VIP connects to Tales) to be in the games' continuity. This means that Return to the Pit, an adaptation that is removed from the Stitchline, is likely the definitive version of the story. So in the same timeframe that TalesGames is seemingly confirmed, it looks as though StitchlineGames is put on thin ice. -Even thinner ice than before.-

    My thing is that Scott has always been pretty clear on older books they're meant to be parallels used for solving game lore without being game canon.
    That, and Bobbiedots has a HUGE game contradiction and the books themselves are full of publishing, illustration and description errors to the extent that it's nearly as bad as when Scott hired guys to make the lore guide and they basically knew nothing about FNAF. THAT'S how many mistakes and contradictions are in them.
    Plus Scott actually had very little to do with the books, basically just giving them guides on what he wanted vaguely as opposed to VIP which he had a heavy hand in. ATP i honestly think the books being directly canon would be lazy.
    Even the older books introduced characters, plots, lore and items that either appeared in older games or was used as lore, without the books being canon. To me in just makes no sense when Scott has made his books and film as parallels in universe, to specifically for this ONE series in particular that's dotted with publishing mistakes, make them canon.

    I have a crazy thought. People are treating the mimic as something completely new as it comes in a new era of fnaf. As it originates earliest in the time line could it have some lore implications for other early fnaf events. My mind goes to this could the mimic be apart of mid night motorist? If the kid that runs away is crying child then could the reason that afton keeps him under watch be that he is concerned about the mimic. I have always been bugged by which kid is killed first by Afton as thematically it would be puppet and Henry say so but if midnight motorist is later that night then what’s the deal with the mystery animatronic. But if the mimic is active well before then could it be it.

    So im a bit confused, whats the current state of the situation?
    Vanny got separated from vanessa
    Vanessa and gregory are working togethether
    The mimic (endo) got separated from glitchtrap
    Glitchtrap (mimic program) and all of its influence is gone
    Cassy is stuck with the mimic
    Cassy has vanny implanted into her
    But what i didnt understand, did all the afton influence on the mimic leave with glitchtrap? Or does the mimic (endo) still know about the murders and everything?

    • @honoramongscars649
      @honoramongscars649 17 часов назад

      Depends on how you look at it I suppose. Currently the discussion is on whether or not there was any of William actually there to begin with. Personally, there are elements in HW1 that could showcase there was at least a tiny bit left, such as the "entity" briefly seen in Princess Quest. (That weirdly looks like the Agony Amalgamation from the books)
      But I think one option that could at the first least "work" with the conflicting information that could support either is from Ooftroop's (Accurate FNAF Timeline guy) old video discussing the design elements of Burntrap. Which is simply this...
      Afton's head/remaining bits of him from the FNAF6 fire were combined with the Mimic's body, so the remaining agony started making it slowly grow back parts of Afton's actual body onto the body.
      With Afton's Agony post the Blob/Tangle grabbing Burntrap in the ending, most people believe is non canon despite the Blob/Tangle showing up in RUIN, likely going/taking over the Blob/Tangle's body. Basically (seemingly) redoing/setting up the game's version of the Agony Amalgamation from the books... which was also kind of hinted at in HW1.

    • @honoramongscars649
      @honoramongscars649 17 часов назад

      So (if Burntrap was actually just Afton again) either Afton's Agony was still there (during it being Glitchtrap) or it started returning when Glitchtrap was added to the Burntrap/Mimic body.

    • @honoramongscars649
      @honoramongscars649 17 часов назад

      If the Burntrap ending was 100% completely not canon, so Burntrap wasn't taken by the Blob/Mimic, there is another option to where the potential "Afton side" of Glitch/Burntrap ended up. In the HW2 "first ending" that ties directly into Ruin, it could imply while yes "Glitchtrap is gone" but Afton got out/into a new body.

    • @yodxxx1
      @yodxxx1 10 часов назад

      @@honoramongscars649 hmm seems somewhat plausible
      Actually that gives me another question
      If burnedtrap was always just the mimic, then what happened to afton?
      He should still be rotting somewhere in an immortal state since agony keeps one alife and cant be removed until it becomes positive
      No wait, if that was the logic he should just be part of the blob with all the other agony related things
      So maybe one more thing which should be mentioned as important for the story is the may or may not afton-agony containing blob which is running around somewhere now (which also was shown to be hungry for the mimic in that one ending)
      So there is a chance of a very dangerous entity forming by the blob eating the mimic, which would have the inteligence and violence of the mimic combined with the tons of materials and large amounts of agony from the blob, which would be close to indestructable from the agony, yet also very adjustable to everything because of its mimic nature and tentacle like body

      I never said I liked all the books and everything in them, personal opinion has no sway on evidence. The only thing I'm arguing is Tales from the Pizzaplex, which yes the Pizzaplex in Bobbiedots was changed to *match* Security Breach's Pizzaplex more accurately. Also Faz-Goo, Sea Bonnies, and Felix the Shark are not actually in the game timeline even if you believe that some of the Fazbear Frights are in the game timeline, those stories are completely irrelevant to the canon.

Yeah I know that there is this one clawmark in the mimics vent but that could be Burntrap travelling around without him being the mimic. Plus The Endos of them are semingly different despite the hand and Burntrap looks very fraggile. Plus the fact that he is a burned rabbit suit with a burned corpse in it in a location where a man inside a bunny suit was burned is just enough for me. And he looks like he needs the recharch station while the mimic doesnt. The only way I could see them being the same is that thas just how gregory sees the mimic because of mimic one or with other words gregory is hallucinating the suit and the corpse

    2. O porque o Mxes é mostrado junto com a "Casa" que se refere ao "Secret of the Mimic"?
    2. Talvez seja só para lembrar do "Ruin" e o Mxes não faz referencia tão direta ao Secret of the mimic.
    3. Talvez ele estaria usando o Mxes para o progama "Mimic-01" e só aproveitou 2 em 1 e usou o Mxes para a forma fisica do mimic também.

    I’m actually okay with having a cast of new characters be introduced for this new era of FNAF
    Because aside from all the convoluted writing and awkward narrative choices, my biggest gripe with FNAF was that all the lore needed to link back to the same people.
    Every single game/book had to link back to the original cast.
    Having someone new fixes so much of this jumbled up mess and helps us move on from the idea of “William and Henry made animatronics, but they also made like 1000 things in their free time”
    I’m exaggerating a little bit but do you see what I mean?

    I don't like talesgames but I am admittedly leaning that direction far more now than a week or so ago. I want it to be Henry who made the mimic because we have so little on him in the games. Edwin feels like he's infringing on Henry's only real characterization as "the talented roboticist in the early days of Freddy's" making this some random new characters is both a missed opertunity to expand on (the games continuity) Henry and it makes this new era of the story feel even more disconnected from the original games story.
    Same reason I want GT to be William. William being a blight that stubbornly returns again and again is a feature not a bug. I want there to be solid naritivs throughlines from the OG story to the Steel Wool story. As it stands there's little actual connective tissue between the two stories aside from superficial similarities. There are plenty of potential connections but nothing that we have so far has any solid ties to the old story.
    Anyway I'm not ready to say 100% I believe talesgames yet. But I'm probably hovering around 90% right now. I'm just not supet happy about it.
