Happy to watch the whole thing again.
Their ability to control an audience is amazing. For over a minute they had a sold out venue chanting with no music or vocal cues at all. I don't think I've ever seen another group do that.

That entire concert, to me, is probably top three of all time for them. From start to finish, the fan interaction, the extended intro's to songs, the encores. Yes, they had some way bigger venues, but this one just feel so special and personal, especially with this being the final song, and those fans singing along with no help for a while.

Love Rondo of Nightmare with the Kami intro. Best part for me is watching Su-metal seems to use a very unorthodox and unknown technique of singing through her nose to create a specific tone in the song. Most don't realize that she is doing this unless you know the technique or are watching for it. It's hard to tell if its recorded or not as she exits the bar, so, Next time you watch that video look for it in the soft part of the song.
So ... after watching Gimme Chocolate, Headbangeeerrr!!!, and Road Of Resistance, my question is "Would you like to go to a Babymetal concert?"

After watching this very song for the first time in 2018, I was there at my first concert 12 months later 😙
I saw a few metal bands live back in the 80s and 90s. Metallica, Anthrax, Ozzy, Van Halen, Skid Row, Testament, Pantera, LA Guns, Guns 'n Roses, The Cult, Queensryche, Suicidal Tendencies, etc. While a few of them matched the energy, none of them even came close to putting on a spectacle like this. I would absolutely love to attend a babymetal concert.
Metallica set the standards with the Moscow 1991 performance. Sure, that crowd wasn't as interactive as fans for Babymetal, but that performance was crazy tho.

exactly, first time i run into baby metal was in their first outside of japan concert in UK if I'm not wrong and the song was gimme chocolate and I was like "wtf am i watching" then I bumped into Karate and it was still a bit weird but not that much but after road of resistance I totally fall in love with this band

This was the most impressive live performance I have ever seen! I would love to be part of this crowd! And great reaction!
- If you want to see more of the Kami band (a solo from each member, actually), you should watch the "Mischief of Metal Gods", which is a live intro to "Rondo of Nightmare".
- If you want to hear how technically and creatively excellent their music can be, listen to the progressive "Tales of the Destinies". The live version, of course.
- If you want to listen to Su sing, people seem to prefer "Akatsuki", and although it's not a personal favorite, the solo's are nice.
- If you want to know what Moa and Yui can do on their own, "Sis. Anger" is a really good and surprisingly heavy song.
- If you want their most important live performance, then find the 2014 Sonisphere version of "Ijime, Dame, Zettai". But you really should read a bit of the story behind that gig first!
- If you want a song that perhaps typify the Babymetal sound more than any other, then give "Megitsune" a try.

This normal in Japan, being stationed there was the best of my military career. I saw Baby Metal at a tokyo salon auto show and it was awsome. Japan loves the fast pace and the singers have a basic animae sound and look.
Again, when the Queen say (without words) that she want a mosh pit, then you have to make it, though you are at home alone too :P

Everything Babymetal does is epic, but yeah, that killed it.
I saw them perform this live in NYC in summer of 2019. It was an awesome show. The Swedish melodic death metal band Avatar opened for them.
Ayyyyy. I was there as well. 3rd time seeing them live in NYC for me.
Dunno if it got mentioned,but this song was written in coordination with Sam and Herman from Dragonforce.
I knew I was hearing the Dragonforce in that! Now it just makes sense.
I have been living in ignorance. How could an epic performance like this go unknown by the rest of the world. I don't think there are too many I would not have been prepared to do to be at that performance.

(they aren't that anymore because they aren't teenagers anymore, they sell even more albums now, their third album broke the record for highest charting Rock/Metal album from Asia ever on the US Billboard charts, which was: #1 of course :-) )

Now see them live... 53 Years old 40 years of going to metal concerts and these girls knock the ball out of the park. Their band is unreal... Kiss, Black Sabbath (With and without Ozzie), Saxon, Zep and Motorhead - All were great live but non of them even come close to Babymetal!!!!

i must say, i have been watching multiable videos from this group and i really like it, this song reminds me of iron maiden! the same feeling i get going to one of thier concerts! when this pandemic is over, i want to see baby metal in concert! going to look for thier alblums tomarrow!
should watch their first tour outside of japan at a festival in the UK. the goers thought they were a being punked when they first came on stage, but then freaked out when they did their 2nd song, and realized they were legit

Just an FYI (Which i drop into every reaction video of this song). This song was actually co-composed with Dragonforce. And dragon force actually did a live with them, where this was one of the songs played. If my memory doesn’t totally fail me, in the studio recording, Herman Li and Sam actually played the guitar.
