I wanted to share my knowledge too!!! 1. Apps has cache, its ok to close them to save battery. You will load it again as it should be upon relaunch, but the previously loaded data will be loaded quickly depending on the speed of your phone storage and probably internet and this is due to the cached data, and that's why some apps with a size of, let's say 100mb will appear to have 300mb, cuz the extra 200mb are cache for fast loading. And no, relaunching the app will not consume more battery compared to letting it run in the background since the app is literally still running. If you want to save battery, (1) turn on power saving mode as mentioned in the video, (2) turn on airplane mode if only you're not expecting any phone calls or you don't need data {you can still turn on wifi}, (3) Close background apps. 2. Yes, do not frickin drain the battery of your new phone. You're a terrible human being if you do that, please don't punish your new phone that early. Just don't drain your battery, like ever. Except yes, wrong battery capacity output. 3. Fast charging is actually better than prev charging kind. Like seriously. New batteries are actually a lot better than previous ones since they are made specifically to be in fast charging mode with more current and voltage being put into them. 4. New phone devices never overcharge, literally. Unless you're using a direct electricity forcing power in your phone. But as long as you're using a legitimate power brick in a legitimate phone with a legitimate battery, the device wont overcharge like if you leave your powerbrick on the socket it won't explode. Been using my phone for 5 years, overnight charging, battery life is only down at 50%,,,,, for 5 years!! --- You can charge your phone, unplug it halfway, plug it again,,,, and so on,,, no problem. --- I would disagree on, "You can use any charges for any phone as long as it's original." PLEASE DON'T DO THAT!! Some chargers are meant to output 18 watts, 33 watts, and some have 100+ watts, some older phone (usually the ones with micro usb charging port) only support the older chargers with at most around 15 watts, meaning that using a 33 watts charger on a phone that can only support 15watts will risk battery life degradation, bloated battery, or even fire. So just don't risk it if you know nothing about the input and output power of your phone or the charger. Mentioned in the video and I'm just emphasizing that. --- Battery charging, for this,,,, it's fine actually to go to 100% or 1%. Just don't let it die, cuz that degrades battery life, charge if often especially if you're not using it even if it's 80% or whatever. 5. Using a phone while charging is perfectly safe. Adaptive naman si android at charger kapag malakas watts bababa eh pero magiinit tlga sya dahil mabili parin makacharge and chance to damage your battery and yung naiiwan nakacharge is okay lng nmn yun. sakin kase yung 3 years ko na cp hanggang ngayon walang problema sa battery as in solid parin para sa 3k mah lng naiiwan ko yun tapos ginagamit ko din yung cp ko while charging but okay lng nmn as in di nag iinit. Nice topic and Great points. IMO.. it'll be great as well if we'll always use the battery saver every after fully charged so that we can lessened the charging cycle of our phones.
Kapag bago yung phone stock charge kasi yan dapat ifull charge muna bago gamitin kasi meron life cycle yan na tinawag.
4 years na OnePlus5T with 30W charger, abusado ako pag dating sa gamit at charging. Example. 1st 1-2years gamit nasa 1-2 charges / day lang (gaming) 2-4 years na gamit 2-4 charges a day (with gaming) Take not habang naglalaro pako naka charge. Mainit lang onti at nag thermal throttle, kung d naman ako mag gaming in a day. 1-2 charges sapat na on a 3300mah battery on a 2017 phone.
Very nice content sir Janus. Yung 30%-80% charging is I guess depende na sa tao siguro yun pero it's nice as well na nabanggit mo yung depth of charging. Sa akin kasi once na nag notify na si Cellphone na charge your phone, dun palang ako nagchacharge(20%) pero not fully charge naman. (90%)
Nice topic boss! If I may add something about the last honorable & yung top 1 mo, the former I read about then the latter I personally observed pero sa iPad Pro: 1. Charging from 35-85 is equal to half a charge cycle. If you typically use your phone's entire battery cap daily, using the 35-85% method means you'd have to charge twice, but at shorter time each time. This will mean less heat, less stress for the battery every charging session instead of charging it from 0-100, so premature degradation is averted. 2. Apple smartly detects if you're using the iPad while charging. I use Procreate for work daily. I noticed that if I use my iPad while plugged in, the battery stops @ 85% for a long time & stays that way. Parang nagsi-switch sya to Alternate Current so parang rekta sa kuryente ang tablet for a while I guess to lessen the stress sa battery while plugged in :)
For number 2, nope. If the device is very warm while charging it temporarily stops charging the battery to avoid damaging the battery. This works to all devices not just Apples. Procreate creates heat and mix that with battery, mabilis bumaba max cap ng iPad mo.
@@jdco4915 I think what I said about the iPad kind of like switching to Alternate Current is similar to what you said about temporarily stopping charging to avoid damaging the battery. Yes, I know it’s not exclusive to Apples, I just said it’s one thing I observed personally with the iPad Pro. I should have mentioned that I have also observed the same thing when using my gaming laptop while charging. Btw, I also used to work with Procreate on my previous iPad while charging, and it took about 3.5 years of use before I noticed a significant drop in its battery cap, from lasting 8-10 hours to just 6-7 on a single charge.
Thanks & peace ❤️
I used my phone while Charging even on games for 4 years up to now still kickin', I used a low power charger when im playing games while charging and set the graphics to Medium coz in games Fps is the most important than higher graphics *in my opinion. But when im in rush i used fast charging QC 3.0 together with a small fan directly to the phone to reduce heat. My usage is: * If I used fast charger, then I wont use the phone while charging Fast * If I want to use while charging, I used a low current charger
Thanks sa info sir Janus! Very helpful sa marami to and samin ni wifey. Hehe 😅 but the infos are noted.
#3 agree... it is the heat sa battery... ideally, the faster the charge, the hotter the battery becomes, that is, kung walang workaround na ginagawa... yun yung "ginagawa" ng mga bagong battery at charging technology... so, kelangan aware pa rin, "some" might have fast charging without implementing appropriate technology... #4 some android phones trickle down at about 90%-95%... again, just like on, xperias, kaya madalas aside from matagal talaga (they turned to 30w just recently sa mark iii), e mas bumabagal at 90% if naka on ang battery care (since xz premium)... recent versions even lets you specify if sa 80% ba or 90%... so sometimes, i do overnight charging... bihira na kasi i top up anytime na may chance... kaya nga inaadvice ko colleagues ko to do the same... kung nakaupo lang naman maghapon, at may malapit na outlet, charge... siguro at most 50%... then unplug after 30 minutes or an hour... ewan ko lang kung malolowbat pa sila... sakin nga, ireremind pa ako ng os na kelangan ko na magrestart ng phone para maoptimize and memory 😂
My Redmi note 10 pro has trickle charge starting from 90 above. 2-3 times nga pala to mag charge since all day naka wifi, mixed usage and 2 hours gaming, dual sim on and 120hz on all the time hehe
Siguro additional sa honorable mention. Some phones in a case are experiencing heating issues when charging. We all know heat will damage the battery. So ingat nlng din po :)
Questions: 1. Mas mabilis po ba mag charge kung turn off ung phone while charging? 2. Halimbawa from 25% to 100%? - Any bracket of percentage like, if 35-85 means 50% ung dapat madagdag para di mastress ung batt? If from 1% batt mo dapat hugutin na pag nareach ung 50% para di ganon kalaki hahabulin nya?
1. Based dun sa mga nabasa may nagsasabi na ioff mo yung phone mo while charging, may nagsasabi naman na no need na i off. 2. 30 - 80/85% ay masasabing best recommendation na sya lalo na sa li-ion battery, dahil kapag dinidrain mo o pinapaabot ng 100% is nababawasan yung count cycle o life cycle ng isang battery, mostly around 300 -500 lang depende sa manufacturer.
i just use whatever watts yung kasama initially na charger sa phone ko..for my xr and 7+ i never use 10 nor 20 watts charger, stick lang ako sa 5 watts, kaht d orig ung power brick ko..same for my android phone..for charging naman, pag nag 50% na nag charge nako and I even leave it overnight, and so far napaka healthy pa naman ng battery health ng lahat ng phones ko.. d ko lang ginagamit hanggat maari pag nag charge and I do intermittent charging as well, pag may lakad i unplug it and just plug it back in pag uwe.. para sakin, kung ano yung recommended na wattage n charger ng phone mo un ang gamitin mo.. i used to do the lowest 30 max 85% sa charging, masyadong hassle..basta pag nasa bahay, pag 50% charge ko na till mag full lalo na pag pa tulog nako tas unplug pag gising..pag alam ko na may lakad, plug in ko atleast an hour before ako umalis, kaht ano ending unplug ko bago umalis tas charge ulet pag uwe..
The best enemy of a smart phone's battery is the heat 🔥, because it can drains your battery too fast and shorten life span. We need to avoid it. If your phone heating 40 Degree Celsius and above while using or playing heavy games, let your phone rest. ❤️ God bless all.
That overnight charge super agree I have my Sony Xperia XA2 Ultra bought last 2018 ilang taon nako na lagi nag oovernight charge pero till now never nasira or lumobo batt neto up until now.
You care for the phone so much di mo na na eenjoy full capacity niya. Trust me after 2 or 3 years bibili kana rin ng bagong phone. Why not make the most out of it. Just my opinion tho.
Kalokohan yun. Basta below 15% charge na then up to 90-95% para maenjoy naman yung phone na binili mo.
agree with #1 especially now na may adaptive battery na... sa xperia, since xz series pa (on my xz premium) #2 adaptive charging... kelangan lang magfull kung ipaprompt ng system just to recalibrate... kaya i usually maintain 20%-90%... top up lang ng top up... basta may chance... bihira na nga ako maglowbat kasi laging top up...
@@midoban23 nope... mas maigi nga yun, as for my experience... kalaban ng baterya ay excessive heat, less likely mangyari kung magcharge little by little...
Tama At Mali! Tama Ka Kasi Bago Na Ang Technology At Naka-adapt Na Ang Mga Bagong CP. (Pero Hindi Overall) At The Same Time Din Naman Mali Pa Rin, Di Ba? Kung Gagamitin Ang CP Habang Naka-charge Ng Mga Heavy Games Mada-damage Pa Rin Ang Battery Ng CP. Pero Ok Salamat Sa Information.
Even though charging up to 100 doesnt damage the battery, mas okay pa din to not do it all thw time para mas mahaba yung ligespam ng battery. Ideal batt percentage is 50% pero imposible yun so ang best choice is to keep it between 15 to 85 percent lalo kung may fast charging naman. To makr sure na mas tatagal sya.
"Charge when you reach 30% upto 85%" Nah, ienjoy mo at gamitin mo kung ano binayaran mo. Kahit icharge mo yan from 10-100% araw araw overnight charging ka, sa technology ngayon aabot parin yan ng 2 taon with like only battery degradation of 10% or more. Just my 2cents kung gagamitin mo pa ng after 2 years ang phone mo at ang tingin mo ay ang battery health nya ay 80% pababa na lang ano ba naman na papalitan mo ng battery, sa tingin ko naman in 2years afford mo na bumili battery replacement ano.
@@pinoytechdad my point exactly. Use the phone as how you want to use it. No matter how much you take care of your battery, it will still degrade wether you want it or not.
Naka xperia ako ayaw mag charge nung Huawei brick. It has something to do with the standards. Quick Charge, Power Delivery yung usual. Proprietary standards na yung iba. Sony in particular you can play while plugged in the brick pero di ka nag chacharge nun
Tama ung sinabi mo lods pero ung unang sinabi about close apps all is making a battery drain... Is not a 100% yan... Tama ung sinabi kapag nasa ram ung mga apps mabilis maopen ang mga apps without using more resources of cpu... But if they run in the background lods...
But I do agree may power draw pa din lalo at nakaopen/waiting for notifs yung iba.
Great content, Sir!
afaik upon reading an article: the reason why charges at least 40% to 85% or 95% but not 100% is because the optimal voltage performance of li-ion or li-po batteries is between 3.8v to 4.2v at 40% the voltage could be 3.7 to 3.8 volts at 90% the voltage could be 4.2 to 4.4 volts
Fast charging can still harm batteries of some phones. I just have one hack for battery maintenance - using a battery limiter. It's a separate device, yes (I use Chargie), but I think it's a great investment since I don't have to worry about overcharging or discharging (I limit it to 20-80%) and overheating while charging overnight.
I use CC/CV method for charging the 18650 Reputable brand battery on an IP 2312 module while measuring the current as long hindi nag exceed sa standard charging current and discharging it less than the standard discharge current para ma extend yung battery life. Mas mabuti nga yung mga smartphone battery ay composed of Lithium Iron Phosphate used by Solar Electrical systems.

Adaptive naman si android at charger kapag malakas watts bababa eh pero magiinit tlga sya dahil mabili parin makacharge and chance to damage your battery and yung naiiwan nakacharge is okay lng nmn yun. sakin kase yung 3 years ko na cp hanggang ngayon walang problema sa battery as in solid parin para sa 3k mah lng naiiwan ko yun tapos ginagamit ko din yung cp ko while charging but okay lng nmn as in di nag iinit. Stop immediately kapag naginit cp nyo so pwede kayo mag movie marathon while charging. Keep it up I trust you tama lahat yan! ☺️
Nice topic and Great points.
IMO.. it'll be great as well if we'll always use the battery saver every after fully charged so that we can lessened the charging cycle of our phones.
Buti may ganitong content na naka tagalog. Salamat ng marami sir. More info pa po
Thank you po dad, sobrang helpful.
Kapag bago yung phone stock charge kasi yan dapat ifull charge muna bago gamitin kasi meron life cycle yan na tinawag.
Very informative topic to....

4 years na OnePlus5T with 30W charger, abusado ako pag dating sa gamit at charging.
Example.
1st 1-2years gamit nasa 1-2 charges / day lang (gaming)
2-4 years na gamit 2-4 charges a day (with gaming)
Take not habang naglalaro pako naka charge.
Mainit lang onti at nag thermal throttle, kung d naman ako mag gaming in a day. 1-2 charges sapat na on a 3300mah battery on a 2017 phone.
Very nice content sir Janus. Yung 30%-80% charging is I guess depende na sa tao siguro yun pero it's nice as well na nabanggit mo yung depth of charging. Sa akin kasi once na nag notify na si Cellphone na charge your phone, dun palang ako nagchacharge(20%) pero not fully charge naman. (90%)

Nice topic boss! If I may add something about the last honorable & yung top 1 mo, the former I read about then the latter I personally observed pero sa iPad Pro:
Samsung has battery feature "protect battery" when you on this feature it will pause charging at 85% and if you off this it will continue up to 100%

Ilan iinit ng cp mo boss, sakin kasi 46 init
Na hit mo yung point papsss salamat it's enlighten me now❤️
Thanks & peace ❤️
Same sa huawei ko. Hanggang ngayon alive pa. Matibay talaga tong brand na to
talaga,. The truth shall set you free...
Salamat Po TechDad for this video!!👏👏👏👏
I used my phone while Charging even on games for 4 years up to now still kickin', I used a low power charger when im playing games while charging and set the graphics to Medium coz in games Fps is the most important than higher graphics *in my opinion.
But when im in rush i used fast charging QC 3.0 together with a small fan directly to the phone to reduce heat.
My usage is:
* If I used fast charger, then I wont use the phone while charging Fast
* If I want to use while charging, I used a low current charger
My Redmi note 10 pro has trickle charge starting from 90 above. 2-3 times nga pala to mag charge since all day naka wifi, mixed usage and 2 hours gaming, dual sim on and 120hz on all the time hehe
@@techview2834 Pano ka po mag charge? Like di pinapaabot sa 100% same kasi tayo ng phone
Siguro additional sa honorable mention.
Some phones in a case are experiencing heating issues when charging. We all know heat will damage the battery. So ingat nlng din po :)
Questions:
1. Mas mabilis po ba mag charge kung turn off ung phone while charging?
Halimbawa from 25% to 100%?
- Any bracket of percentage like, if 35-85 means 50% ung dapat madagdag para di mastress ung batt? If from 1% batt mo dapat hugutin na pag nareach ung 50% para di ganon kalaki hahabulin nya?
i just use whatever watts yung kasama initially na charger sa phone ko..for my xr and 7+ i never use 10 nor 20 watts charger, stick lang ako sa 5 watts, kaht d orig ung power brick ko..same for my android phone..for charging naman, pag nag 50% na nag charge nako and I even leave it overnight, and so far napaka healthy pa naman ng battery health ng lahat ng phones ko..
d ko lang ginagamit hanggat maari pag nag charge and I do intermittent charging as well, pag may lakad i unplug it and just plug it back in pag uwe..
i used to do the lowest 30 max 85% sa charging, masyadong hassle..basta pag nasa bahay, pag 50% charge ko na till mag full lalo na pag pa tulog nako tas unplug pag gising..pag alam ko na may lakad, plug in ko atleast an hour before ako umalis, kaht ano ending unplug ko bago umalis tas charge ulet pag uwe..
Informative video nanaman!
UY MAGANDANG TOPIC TO!!!!
Basta below 15% charge na then up to 90-95% para maenjoy naman yung phone na binili mo.
sulit talagang panoorin yung mga video mo idol❤

agree with #1 especially now na may adaptive battery na... sa xperia, since xz series pa (on my xz premium)
#2 adaptive charging... kelangan lang magfull kung ipaprompt ng system just to recalibrate... kaya i usually maintain 20%-90%... top up lang ng top up... basta may chance... bihira na nga ako maglowbat kasi laging top up...
anong top up?
@@midoban23i mean charge little by little... if for instance may chance ka to charge, charge it, kahit 10-30 minutes lang, kahit hindi fully charge...
@@pandevera2244 ok gets ko na. di naman masama yun sa battery?
@@midoban23 nope... mas maigi nga yun, as for my experience... kalaban ng baterya ay excessive heat, less likely mangyari kung magcharge little by little...

One thing I love about Samsung A54 is meron syang feature sa settings "limit maximum charge to 85"

Sa Number 1 Mo Ay Dalawa Ang Sagot?
Tama At Mali!
Tama Ka Kasi Bago Na Ang Technology At Naka-adapt Na Ang Mga Bagong CP. (Pero Hindi Overall)
At The Same Time Din Naman Mali Pa Rin, Di Ba?
Sobrang helpful nito. Lalo na at updated na for this year.
To makr sure na mas tatagal sya.
bakit ba masama na lagi i full?

Which is better kesa yung battery mismo. ❤️

"Charge when you reach 30% upto 85%"
Nah, ienjoy mo at gamitin mo kung ano binayaran mo. Kahit icharge mo yan from 10-100% araw araw overnight charging ka, sa technology ngayon aabot parin yan ng 2 taon with like only battery degradation of 10% or more. Just my 2cents kung gagamitin mo pa ng after 2 years ang phone mo at ang tingin mo ay ang battery health nya ay 80% pababa na lang ano ba naman na papalitan mo ng battery, sa tingin ko naman in 2years afford mo na bumili battery replacement ano.
Agree naman. Hehe if you truly wanna enjoy using your phone, wag na magworry gaano. Charge when needed. Use without worries.
@@pinoytechdad my point exactly. Use the phone as how you want to use it. No matter how much you take care of your battery, it will still degrade wether you want it or not.
hindi naman kasi fast charging phone mo kaya ok lang 10-100%🤣🤣🤣 pag 33watts+ yung charging mo iinit talaga yun as in
Case to case basis pa rin po. :) May iba gusto maximize yung battery health ng phones nila. I get your point though. :)
Fast charging is not bad anymore.
Ayan. same sa ROG meron din sila Pass through feature na naka draw lang ng power and hindi chinacharge yung battery. Really cool.

Definitely! 101% akong agree dito 😉
Hmm very well said bossing😊😊😊
afaik upon reading an article:
the reason why charges at least 40% to 85% or 95% but not 100% is because the optimal voltage performance of li-ion or li-po batteries is between 3.8v to 4.2v
at 40% the voltage could be 3.7 to 3.8 volts
at 90% the voltage could be 4.2 to 4.4 volts

Fast charging can still harm batteries of some phones. I just have one hack for battery maintenance - using a battery limiter. It's a separate device, yes (I use Chargie), but I think it's a great investment since I don't have to worry about overcharging or discharging (I limit it to 20-80%) and overheating while charging overnight.
Nice tips.
