Got my first bass on a tube yesterday, and my second one today ❤🎉
I started fishing tubes when an old head put me on to them, it is definitely one of my confidence baits.
Stoppp that wasnt spanish 😂😂😂😂😂 love you man. I just got a couple packs of the big bites baits tour tubes to try them out
Definitely one of favorites in the fall on 8lb line MH spinning rod 👍
The tube is my favorite soft plastic. I use it for more multi species than any other bait I have. Great video of an old school bait!!
Thanks for watching!
I already use a hollow tube a lot and am glad to find new ways to use it. I have also had success using tubes with smaller skirts for even more finesse
Great video as always bro. Super cool catches too!!
Great video on the tube... ordered some via your link. Thanks for sharing!
The tube lol. My uncle always uses tubes for bass fishing. That’s his Go-to
Your uncle is a smart old man
@@TylersReelFishing Why he gotta be old lmaooo
My father in law gave me some tubes recently. Haven’t used them yet so perfect timing Tyler! Thx for the great info.
Of course! Good luck!
Never understood the tube, and always thought to use a jig or a Texas rig instead, I’ve tried it a couple times but never fell in love with it . Glad you made the video maybe I’ll go try it out again
Always here to break stereotypes
Thanks Tyler.... tried the tube once or twice. No luck but it was definitely the way i was fishing it. will be adding it to the deck...
Heck yeah man this came on time its tough in my area of Texas right now not sure if its getting too much pressure or what but I tell you I'll be making my way to academy this week for some tubes lol never threw 1 before just because open hook but a t rigged tube im all in. Great content brother as always 👍👊💯👌🔥🎣🤘🇺🇲
I'm up North and the tube is the way to go but there is a specialty weighted hook made for those tubes that get inserted and make the action a lot more different than what you can do with a Texas rigged tube definitely look into it you'll find it quite amazing
Yes, I’m very familiar with the standard tube jighead. I’ve fished all around the country
When others reach for the drop shot or a Ned rig, I grab the tube it flat out catches fish. Btw hitting the little ones with the business is always hilarious 😂😂😂
Haha yep for sure!
Gotta love tudes I was on like a two mouth dry streek and I found a bag of old tudes and had one of my best days of winter fishing ever
Tudes are the best
😂
Well you proved they work, nice fishing 🎣
wasup broo?? u can Listen my beat? its dope
Cool video. I can't wait to try a tube!
Go for it!
Thank you Tyler for the video.
Of course!
It is indeed a nice one!!!
I know this is an older video now but still very relevant. Crackin tubes in 2021 still. they also make a great punch lure. Definitely one of the videos I send people to to watch for fall bassin.
Heck yeah, love it man!
Hey brother, I really appreciate zeal for fishing and information
No problem 👍
Cool videos really enjoy the content
Thanks bud!
Thanks for the help
Thanks for always watching !
Good info... Thanks
come up to the Upper Potomac in late summer and fall and you'll slay smallies on tubes, and largies in the river, although fewer in numbers, but they're in there. and are gettin consistantly bigger every year. smallies are starting to average 16" and 2+ lbs. plenty of 3 and 4 lbers, and the occaisional 5+ lbers
OG! Let’s talk about it!
Yeah!
Man I used to love flipping a tube. The beaver style baits kinda took that over.
They sure did
I always liked throwing them when the water starts to warm up and they really aren't on a big bait it. I really should pick me up a few packs since i haven't had any in a few years
I use to throw the tub but i stop. But i just bought some a month ago. Haven't thrown it yet. I like your videos
Give em a try again Tim!
I used to use a tube jig on Lake Erie breakwall fishing like 20 years ago. Zoom brand I think in pumpkinseed. They would slay smallies off the rock breakwall. I still have a few in a pack I just found.
We used a jig type hook with a weight that slides up inside the tube and you push the eye of the hook out and tie it on and bottom bounce it like a ned rig type deal
Awsome video Tyler i have my PB cought on a tube ther are soo cool
They are unique that’s for sure!
Tube was my ned rig for the longest time until I got a field and stream by me I can by ned rig heads that now I've used the ned rig. No luck yet. But will keep trying. May use tube again after this one.
Do ittt
Hey Tyler Great video man! I was wondering if you could please make a video on fishermen’s Christmas shopping guide for 2020. Thanks!
I might!
I've been using them as a drop shot as well past a couple of years. instead of just an empty weight under a drop shot hook with a drop shot worm or fluke I take a tube with a tube weight and bounce that off the bottom as well in the river bed. been pretty effective for smallmouth in the northeast our smallmouth fishing here is a lot better than our largemouth.
Great insights!
The tubes always work great for bass, especially smallmouth. BUT, they work much better, soaked in RIVERSIDE CRAWFISH OIL. The bass pick it up, taste it and they carry it off!
Interesting!
One of the best smallie lures
Love the shorts in the winter 🥶 its under 5 Celsius every day here (35-40).. i am jealous .
We are having a VERY nice fall around here haha
I like throwing the same size tube but I stuff them with 3 or 4 powerbait trout eggs to make it float. I still use a 3/0 EWG but the weight of the hook is just enough to make it slowly sink. I fish it just like a weightless senko. Let it sink to the bottom, slowly lift it back up and reel it back slowly. It’s deadly when everyone is throwing jigs and wacky rigs.
Ahh nice!
Hey Tyler, nice vid. Didn't knew about this lure type. You're always making me glad to have subscribed :D
How about using a spinning rod for this lure since it's more finesse?
wasup broo?? u can Listen my beat? its dope
I catch a lot of bass on tubes, no weight, 8lb test, ML spinning rod.
Yup, yup, long time user; weightless on heavy cover on a slow moving stream with a spinning reel.
Genius
I've got a couple packs of those that I never throw cuz I thought they were only good for smallies on a jighead with an exposed hook. I'll give this a shot.
Always down to change perception around here
Best video
wasup broo?? u can Listen my beat? its dope
Hey Tyler I love tube fishing but on a spinning rod absolutely nothing wrong with baitcasting equipment. God bless
Tyler you should try the Trokar TK190 tube hook they are by far the best tube hooks ever! And they work great on creature baits also like the Rage bug
👍🏼
Thanks a lot
Happy to help!
I love fishing tubes for smallmouth
Me to
Nice video Tyler! Like u said I’ve used it on small mouths but never on largies before but now I can’t wait to go and try it in the morning. Just wondering if there was a cold front and the weather is about 32 degrees would you still recommend this lure or would you personally throw a different presentation lure?
I’d go way more finesse, and deeper
@@TylersReelFishing thanks for this video Tyler I went fishing this morning with my coworker and by using your tips and advice on this video I was the only one that caught fish! Keep up the good work
I love the dracula accent while speaking spanish 😂
That was not Spanish that was french
@@raymondfrancoeur5544 😂

Yuhh haha

WE FISH LAKE TEXOMA ALL THE TIME
Amped you made a video on this 🤜🤛
I’m glad!
Hi! I've tube fished since I first began getting into bass fishing, similar to how you were talking about it being a more traditional style of fishing known to older generations, my father showed me the whole deal. But lately I've seen a few different styles of tubes with kinda craw claw appendages, Chomperz and Big Bite Baits as well as the BPS tournament series has a line of these, i was wondering if you felt there were any advantages or disadvantages to the added appendages on the side of the tube, thanks in advance bud, im loving learning off your channel 🤝
Thanks for the great comment luke!
My grandpa loves the tube
Your grandpa is a smart man
Sweet
wasup broo?? u can Listen my beat? its dope
did you pay someone to make that intro for you bc its DOPE
No, I made it
Subscribe for the rhymes! Lol love it man keep it up💯 I like the tube! Curious of how to fish it better in rivers (had been throwing it on a tube hook) but this way looks way easier!!
I think I rigged it the most effective way possible
For a change of pace no one else uses try a fat Ika from Yamamoto. Looks like a tube glides like a senko. Different from anything anyone else is throwing
Heard of that! Looks cool
I found your channel and LOVED IT!!! 👍🏽 I started a women fishing channel just recently called “Pink Pond Princess” 👸💖🎣Trying to load more content and learn from other Great channels like yours!!
Just subscribed to your channel. I live in Austin. Have you ever fished Decker Lake ?
I have! I grew up on Lake Travis
Always walked by them. Knew there was something to them. Won't pass by again. BTW , you seem to have it so tough, structure, lay downs, power poles etc.. Just kidding. Thanks.
You've forgotten about the father of the fluke and stickworm that was responsible for a federation angler qualified for bass master classic??? " the Sluggo" made by lunker city lures.
Sluggo was a good one!
La mort avant la décaf , that's french not spanish , means the same thing that you said in english : Death before Decaf
Love it
I'm trying a tube next
Awesome! I’m so glad
i love tubes, it catches me bass when nothing else does
That’s what I’ve been learning too
I’ve been using these with out even knowing what I was doing just thought it was a weight on top plastic bait
Nice haha!
Wow
You replied:(( I just fished for two hours here in southern wisco very tough bite
How long does the lews custom pro series rods last. Oh and are they a lighter type of rod.
Last for years! Yes they are light
@@TylersReelFishing oh bet thanks i just really like the cork grips and apparently there the really good A grade cork
First? And can these work in Florida?
Absolutely!
What baits do u recommend for sandy/ rocky bottom with 6-10 ft visibility
That’s a really broad category. Really anything works there, but I’d lean more finesse and lighter line
@@TylersReelFishing thanks a lot for answering all my questions. It helps a lit
Gitzit tubes used to be a mainstay out West. More a finesse presentation than this though.
Yeah that’s what I’ve heard
I didn't know that the tube wasn't everyone's go to bait,,I can't see me leaving the house without my Tube selection,,and trust me gents,if you're not tubing you're missing out!
That lay down is called a tree
