    Thank you Amy, you are helping many people with special children across the globe.Thank you Mala's parents for letting your child co-instruct. I've watched your videos and practice with my 2yr old since he was a baby. He happens to have ds too. He's been walking for about 2 months now. Thank you.

      Don’t forget, learning to walk has more to do than just practicing walking. You have to have the leg strength, the balance, control, core strength and endurance too. So make sure you practice the things on th other playlist too!

    I found this video very useful for my son. He still don't know to jump with both legs and also instead of running, he walks very fast. Any tips to improve these skills in him?

    You are amazing, your videos are so helpful! May I ask if it's normal for a 31 month old child jump the same way Myla does? (Cannot use both legs).

      Thank you for your kind words. In normal development a child learns to jump down from small heights at 18 to 23 months.

    Do you have activities for kids who don't want to use their upper arms/chest muscles?

      I do not have a video for that specific problem. I have seen that problem commonly with children who end up with athetosis. Maybe this crawling playlist can help you:

    Hi, amy do you have some video or list of fun activities or toys/ game for children with low muscle tone, so that in there spare time they can enjoy and have fun too.

    • @pediatricPTexercises
      @pediatricPTexercises  4 года назад +1

      I am so sorry. I have no idea how to make that list. It would depend too much on the child’s age, ability, and cognitive skills. Great idea though. Your child’s therapists would be much better positioned to help you.

      I am so sorry to hear that. Hopefully the videos I have done for Myla will be useful for you. I followed her development and made suggestions from the time she was six months old until she walked at almost 3 years of age. The videos are in order. Hopefully you can find the right level of activities and progress through them for your child.Here is her playlist:
