I never played Call of Duty in my life. Didn't really care for the shooting war games. I wouldn't even play it if they paid me. I'm an online cop, not a villainous griefer. I tend to keep people online as safe as they can be. I took an oath to uphold gamer law.
The AAA gaming and gotcha mobile gaming is finally dying because of their greed, their predatory monetisation practices, their ads and their woke trash. Its a beautiful thing. With new ways to play real games, handheld PCs and phones with emulators, we can have retro and indie games on the go we don't need to play mobile games anymore. We Also don't need to pay 70 for an unfinished game full of MTX and and toxic woke ugly diversity.

They had the $1 for a month trial on new accounts for a while. I remember taking advantage of that when I was a kid. If I'm remembering correctly, it was during the OG Modern Warfare 2 days. I'd get to max prestige within the month, then just make a new account for the $1 month and do it all over again. I did it for several months, so they were pretty slow on seeing it lol.
Even putting the older single player titles on gamepass would increase the revenue.

This is the first call of duty Ive even played since the og mw trilogy when I was a teenager. I like the game and just ignore the woke stuff. I play it cause its nostalgic and I like guns, and I didnt actually have to buy it and probably wouldnt pay to play it otherwise.
I'm just gonna check out of the present gaming scene and go back to the classics. At least they won't let me down. There are multiple lifetimes of games in the retro scene. I'll never finish them all but I'll damn sure try.

I remember paying for online just for COD alone back in 360/ps3 era, that's why the Activision sale was important, cod isn't just a game seller it's a subscription seller, if they put cod on gamepass many new subscribers will come.
The problem is that they won't get enough new subs to make Game Pass sustainable. They already have 30 million subs. Let's be generous and say they double it and get another 30 million subs by putting COD on Game Pass. Even 60 million subs is still far from sustainable, and now, they'd be losing a lot of money in COD sales, and of course the investors would ask, "So you spent $70 billion to buy Activision and COD, and we're not going to make back our money with their biggest IP?"
Whether they do or don't put it on game pass won't change anything. Till actual good quality of life changes happen like greatly toning down or outright scrap sbmm and eomm and get rid of the bundles.
I signed up for game pass 6 months ago, for a few months they wanted 12 bucks or somethig so i didnt sub further after the first dollar sub. Persona 3 was added not to long ago and I could sign up again for 1 buck as if it resetted after a few. This is my 2nd time around subbing for 1 buck on the same account.

I think they should have a rotation of older titles that get featured on game pass for three months at a time and then new ones get rotated in and the new next GEN call of duty or current GEN call of duty games, the most recent you, you should still have to buy?
If Game pass is already struggling to sustain itself, this is a win-win because there are a lot of players, such as myself that grew up with call of duty that would re-subscribe to the service for all of the older games that we love and other people will still buy the newer games ?!

I played every single call of duty up to advanced warfare and then that's when I fell off of it. .. black ops2 was the last one I ever beat on veteran and played every single day on my 360 and on my PS3 and so if they added all of the old ones from Xbox 360 to game pass, I think that would be enough to get tons of more subscribers to game pass and then you would get discounts on the newer call of duty if you were a game pass ultimate member?

Call of Duty has sucked for the past 11 years. Black Ops with the zombie dlc was the last good content they released. After that they tried milking the franchise and nothing enovative has yet to come out. 😂
I’ve been with both companies from day one Xbox PlayStation. I left PS4 after 10 years. Switch to the series and X both fantastic machines don’t have a problem with the machines. However, having spent nearly £1000 on digital games across three different accounts. I’m now starting to worry about Xbox. I’ve cancelled my subscription. They’re not getting any more money from me. I’m sick to death of it. I’m sick of paying to pay online when I’m already paying for my Internet. I’m gonna start saving now for future games on PC. I’m sick of all these subscriptions to consoles. And if I am going to buy any games special on Xbox, I’ll do what I normally do. I’ll use my Microsoft points. There’s a reason they’re there. Stop playing call of duty when modern warfare two came out. Purchased it for me and my best friend so that was over £200 complete waste of money because we don’t pay no more. Crap.
