Leo, thank you soooo much for your great review -- and doubly so for your explanation of the Firmware Update (beginning at 11:17, for those facing update problems). I received my GE 150 yesterday and wasted several hours unsuccessfully attempting to get it to work. Thankfully, I eventually remembered that your review, which I had bookmarked, contained lots of useful advice and decided to watch it again. I'm glad I did and really appreciate your insights!

Hi Emilio, for the price they are nice. The delays in my opinion are a little bit too much "intrusive", so I tipically set their level pretty low. Thank you for your question!

Hi Roberto, I don't have the GE 200, but from the tech spec I would say that they should sound pretty similar, in fact, both of the units have: 98db dynamic, 512 sampling points, 24b/41khz ADA conversion.
Hi, thank you Phil! The sample rate is the number of samples of audio taken per second, measured in kHz. For example, 44.1 kHz (that is the sampling rate use by CD), or 48kHz, that is the sampling rate I typically use for my recordings. Thank you for your question!

My experience with a MAC is that with the USB Type B, I was able to use the editor software, but the GE 150 was not seen as an audio interface, on the other hand, using the micro USB the MAC recognize the GE 150 as an audio interface, but I was not able to record audio signal. I've not spent too much time to solve these problems so maybe I'm doing something wrong...nevertheless in my opinion the manual does not help... and is not clear: in fact at page 22 there is written "Notice: The type-B USB port is for software editing, firmware updates, and OTG port for direct recording" and at page 5 "USB:Type B USB port. Connect a USB cable to a PC computer for direct recording, software updates or preset editing using the dedicated editor software"...basically pag 5 and page 22 are saying different things... Hi Mario, I think that your question is pretty interesting, so let me answer in English so that other people can join our conversation. I don't have an HX Effect, but these are my considerations: The GE150 does not have an effect loop, and does not have stereo inputs. This means that you have to put the HX before or after the GE150. On the other hand, if you put the HX after the GE150, you are gonna have a stereo signal and time and modulation effects after the amp. This solution should work, even though I'm not 100% sure, as I can not experiment with this solution by myself. Thank you for your question and your interest in my channel!

Have you used it to record on a smart phone via the micro USB port? Of course, not a major problem, as these days you can just do a video recording on a smart phone!
