Hello from NC Vicki, thank you for sharing your beautiful pieces with us. The tips you give us on fabric choices are very helpful, your floss colors just pop. So glad you were able to visit your Mom, I miss my Momma every day.
Thanks for keeping me company while I stitched Plum Street Sampler's This is the Day.... that pink house is a lot of stitches. Glad to see you are back from your busy, fun summer.
Great to see you back, Vicky! Always enjoy all your WIPS and seeing your progress. Wonderful that you were able to spend time with your mom and then stitching at the retreat. Sounds like great fun. I’ve got a Hawk Run that I’m itching to start. All of yours are beautiful! Thanks for sharing😊
Thank you a million times for the ideas for storing your fabrics. I bought the boxes, clips and comic cards and spent 2 days putting it all away. What a great idea. I pulled fabric from every where and now it's in 2 boxes! I bought 4 more boxes and put my charts in them by designer laying them on their sides. The comic board was the marker for the designer! Great! What a space saver and so much easier to find my various charts! Thank you!!!!
Good to see you again. Being new to cross stitch I'm totally in awe of all the projects you have in the works! I have only the one I'm working on but rest assured there will be more.🙂I have purchased two more kits. LOL This seems to be a very addictive passtime.
I'm so glad to hear your absence was due to happy things like traveling and visiting your mom! I enjoy your videos and all those lovely wips, Ffo's and previous finishes. Such fun!
Loved seeing your progress on your projects. Goodluck with the family moving and staying etc. Look forward to seeing your next video when you have time. Take care.
Hi Vicky! So glad you had a nice visit with your Mom. Nice progress! I hope your stitching plan works....sounds do-able to me :). Have a great day! Praying all goes well with your daughter's move.
Good morning, I’m Jill from NoVA, Warrenton to be more exact. I was thrilled to see your WIP of Hawk run Hollow that you will make as a tribute to your dad. I did the exact same thing!! My dad was in the navy during WWII. I rearranged some of the blocks and changed a few words to put appropriate wording for his remembrance. I don’t know how to send you a pic of it, sorry😵💫. I also have done a couple of other Hawk Run. Fun stitching. Enjoy your blogs. Happy stitching, Jill
Wow your stitching is amazing. And all those Wips. Some of the pieces you have chosen are lovely. And the fabric is just something else. I especially liked the flag piece. And the fabric you chose for that really makes it. I found your channel as Lindsi from Blushing Pink Stitches talks about your work on her videos all the time. I can see why now. Look forward to the next flosstube.
Good luck to your son moving! I live in Colorado Springs - we love our military families! Your projects are looking amazing. We have very similar tastes - I want to stitch ALL of your things! lol
So nice to see you back, Vicky. Glad you've had some good times with your mom, and at the retreat. As usual, all your stitchy projects are wonderful. I really enjoy seeing what you're working on, some of the changes you make, as well as your fabric choices. Take care, and happy stitching until you're back again :)
Excellent video full of beautiful stitching and great ideas 💡. I think we all can learn new ways to enjoy our WIPs and get them to Finishes! I look forward to your progress and admire your ambitious big projects. I am 67 and stitching like it's my job! 😁 I do what I want and what I want is to stitch. Best wishes!
So good to see you back, Vicky! I was cross-stitching and then switched to a diamond painting project while watching this episode. Thank you for keeping me company (and productive) on a quiet Sunday night. Take care - and enjoy your house guests. Many of us spend endless weeks/months alone. Sometimes by our own choice, and we enjoy our solitude. Sometimes ... life happened. Looking forward to your continued progress on these amazing WIPs.
I was so happy to see the video pop up, everything was fabulous. Your WIPS and finishes are always amazing. You don't need to apologize for the length between videos, we know you're busy and will be here when you decide to video. Happy Stitching!
Just looked on my framed piece of Prairie Schooler Village Sampler, I stitched it in 2003! Loved stitching it and all Prairie Schoolers. But obsessed with JBW designs now. Enjoyed our "visit".
Love your idea of putting generics on your Wipco board. I’ve never done a board before but your new method appeals to me. Thanks. Makes me look forward to 2023 👍🏼
Vicky, all of your projects are just exquisite and our tastes are so similar! I love, love, love seeing your work. Good luck on your rotation. I can only plan out about a week or I start feeling “forced”, but a week is usually moderately successful for my scattered-brain 😅❤.
We are stitching ( or my plans to stitch) several of the same things! I just finished kiting up my HRH shores with the NPI, I’m doing it in memory of my father as well . A retired Navy man❤ and land that I love I’m just waiting on the called for linen! How funny! Yours are beautiful 😍
Certainly enjoyed your flosstube, but I always do! I loved everything, but especially love Bellatrix! We did get the rain from the hurricane last night and today, here in Northeast Pennsylvania. It's nice to be busy and nice to be back home. Have a wonderful week ♡
I was just thinking of you yesterday when I saw this flosstube pop up in my feed 😆 Boy, you have been stitching on lots of beautiful things! I love the colors in your Shores of HRH and Newcastle Bouquet. Santa's Village will be an adorable piece once it's done. I admire you for taking on so many big projects! It was nice catching up with you again😊
I'm a first-time viewer and really enjoyed your flosstube. I love all of your WIPS and own many of the charts myself. Some of your fabric choices certainly caught my eye and will probably influence a few of my next purchases. Your stitching looks practically perfect! I look forward to viewing more of your channel.❤
Just wow over all your starts. I thought my 4 samplers was a lot but holy cow!! All fabulous. I'm going to grid my Autumn at Hawk Run Hollow like yours HRH. Thanks for sharing that.
No need to apologize for time between Floss tube videos, as long as you keep those WIPS, haul and starts coming! LOL I always look forward to your videos (no pressure!)
I love your idea for the generic WIPGO and will be interested to see your progress and hear your thoughts. I want to refine mine also for 2023 but just not sure yet. I missed you , glad you were doing fun activities and thank you for all the work you do to present such an interesting Flosstube.
Glad that you are back on floss tube. I know that you had decided to not put out as many as you had been doing but I have missed seeing your work. I like it because you are one of the few that enjoys stitching on Aida. I too like 16 or 18 count Aida. In the Teresa Kogut pattern that you started - you were concerned enough about the short cat leg that you pointed it out to us. That would tell me that it is going to bother you. Why not fix it right now and you won't be second guessing yourself.
You have been stitching up a storm! Beautiful projects, as always. Please check your Nantucket Rose to make sure that her skirt will fit with enough room for margin on the LH side. I made the mistake of not and had to start again, you'd better believe that the second start was in the bottom LH corner! 😁
I am new to your channel and thoroughly enjoyed this video- it's practically a wip parade! Very enabling lol! I live in Central FL and would love to meet you sometime when you're in the area! Happy Stitching!
Hi Vicki! Another Vicki here! 3 pages of notes! I’m definitely getting the Teresa Kogut Halloween book. I don’t know how you find the time to keep with all your WIPS! I’m in awe! I’ve been watching Stitcherista for a few years. She got me into diamond painting. I love what she is doing with perforated paper! Love your channel! You keep me inspired! ❤
Holy cow that Teresa Kogut book is adorable! I’m currently stitching Let Love Reign which is amazing, and A Perfect World as well. But I may have to get that book. So much to stitch so little time!😂
So good to see you again! Wow, did you have a lot today, & I loved every bit of it. I, too, refined my WIPGO, & will continue that way for 2023. I chose “7 day” larger focus pieces, but I choose 4/ month, & 2 of those 4 will be somewhere on my board. I feel like I’m getting so much further on those larger pieces! We are finally getting a Lazy Daisy in Yorktown this month & it’s going in our old AC Moore store - it’s going to be huge, & I cannot wait for them to open! So excited! Supposedly, there is still a little room at a December small retreat in Williamsburg; I’m calling today to check on that, & when/if I get the info I’ll email you in case you’re free. Sounds like you’re going to be very busy in December, but just in case, it should be a good one & I know we’d have so much fun! Best wishes to your daughter & her family as they prep for their CO move! Happy Stitching❤️🧵🪡
Hello Susan, your stitching plan sounds amazing. A retreat in Williamsburg would be so nice. That Lazy Daisy will be big. Fredericksburg has two but both are small. Thank you for the well wishes and Happy stitching
Love your Flosstube, im from Norway, and we dont have Flosstubes here. I wonder, i see alott Flosstubes are stitching all this stunning Hawk run hollows project, are this from a tale ,or is this a real place ,i just wonder. Hello, I love that Flosstube can connect stitchers from around the world. Hawkrun Hollow is an imaginary land but fun to stitch. Thank you, Bellatrix is lovely. Happy stitching
Glad your back I really missed you. You always have so much to share. ? What kind of stitch makes your Elizabeth Weston border? From what I can tell it doesn't look like cross stitch. Is there a lot of 1 over 1 or specialty stitches in it. I love it but I know she is a big girl and am not that confident about specialty or 1 over 1. Thank you in advance. You sound like you have a great rotation plan going forward. I am planning something similar, two projects each week that get 3 days each and then a 3rd for a Sunday stitch.
I need to thank you for keeping me company. I’m in Greece on vacation and I am sick with Covid. All I want to do is go HOME! So while the rest of my group are out and about I am thankfully stuck stitching on Quaker Pumpkins and watching you. I think your plans are smart, that way you get to stitch what you want within your categories. Question: Why didn’t you chose an Aida for Let Love Reign? I’m planning to do that one too so was curious. Take care!
Hello Angela, I am so sorry you have COVID on vacation ☹️. That was my biggest fear when I traveled to Italy in May. I am glad I could at least keep you company. I picked that fabric for Let Love Reign because I was using stash. It was big enough and the color worked. There are no specialty stitches so it can easily be stitched on Aida. I hope you feel better soon.
I have been stitching Newcastle Bouquet too, I think if you put the alphabet in to use for your counting from border but don’t count off the bird you’ll never notice she’s off a bit. There aren’t any stitching mistakes, just adjustments😜
We really missed you glad you are back. Can you let know what is the average size cross stitch fabric. I noticed that the cloth is on the large size. I have only been stitching for a year now and am not sure what size I should purchase my fabric. Thanks for any help.
I stitched One Nation. I stitched the states alternating in red and blue (each line) because I hate stitching with white. The stars are white of course. I started on Election Day 2020 and finished on Inauguration Day 2021. I then had it quilted like a flag. I love it. Vote Blue!
I always love your videos. I enjoy your sureness of what pleases you, which linen/fabric you choose and most of all your chatty sharing! Thank You! I do have a question for you. Since you always stitch 2 over 2 do your find that the amount of floss needed (as listed on the chart) is enough? Do you buy extras? I enjoy stitching 2 over 2 but wonder if I will run short on floss. Thanks!😊
Thank you so much, Jeana.😊. I have learned to check the chart. If it indicates that it was stitched with one strand then I always at least double the amount of floss.
My suggestion with the cats feet is to do the same thing with the other cats. Looks like they are jumping a little bit. My mantra is go forward never back
As always, enjoyed your video. I have a question about your planned 3 day rotation for 4 pieces. Do you plan to stitch on ONLY that particular piece for your entire stitching time on their chosen day, or do you have a certain amount of time/stitches/floss to spend each day for that piece? I'm very interested as I need to find a bit of a plan so that a lot of my pieces aren't overlooked regularly. I just started a plan for October that I want to put a minimum of 500 total stitches on my full coverage pieces in a week. I only have 2 of them and I will split the 500 any way I feel like - all on one or split between the 2 of them. I don't count stitches on anything else tho (as I let pattern keeper do it), so am hoping to experiment and find a plan that suits me to put in place for sure in 2023. I'm very curious about any more insight you can give me about your set up and how it works. Thanks so much!! Steph from NJ
Thank you Vicki! I just found it on one of your previous videos. I also just ordered the exact same fabric. I love how you’re personalizing this project.

Hi Vicki. Thank you for another nice long chatty video. I really enjoyed it and looking at all your lovely WIPS.
Thanks Vickie for another great video with a lot of enabling.
You do beautiful work. Thanks for sharing the fabric and floss for each piece.
Great progress! I love your pattern selections.
Such beautiful WIPs! Love to see what you’re working on. One Nation is very cool, and a neat fabric choice.

A retreat in Williamsburg would be so nice.
That Lazy Daisy will be big. Fredericksburg has two but both are small.

Hello, I love that Flosstube can connect stitchers from around the world.
Hawkrun Hollow is an imaginary land but fun to stitch.
Thank you, Bellatrix is lovely. Happy stitching
Your Village of Hawk Run Hollow looks great on Aged Paper
Lovely ro see you again. I really enjoy your channel. ❤️❤️❤️
Really enjiyed your WIP's beautiful stitching. I like yiour focus plan. i love starting projects, but I feel need to also finish a project.
Your Elizabeth Weston is stunning on that fabric you chose
Thank you so much, Julie 😊
Glad your back I really missed you. You always have so much to share. ? What kind of stitch makes your Elizabeth Weston border? From what I can tell it doesn't look like cross stitch. You could try and backstitch around New York with black before you frog it. I think that first gold goes with it so well 🥰
I need to thank you for keeping me company.
Glad you are back.missed you How do you keep track of all those whips? There are so many beautiful patterns I want them all.see you again soon.
I have them on a spread sheet and they are all stored in bins in my craft closet. Some of them get more stitching time than others. Happy stitching 🧵
Thank you for your video. You could use petite beads by Mill Hill for those cat eyes … perhaps the scale would work with your crosses.
I have been stitching Newcastle Bouquet too, I think if you put the alphabet in to use for your counting from border but don’t count off the bird you’ll never notice she’s off a bit. There aren’t any stitching mistakes, just adjustments😜
Good tip. Thank you 😊
We really missed you glad you are back. Can you let know what is the average size cross stitch fabric. I noticed that the cloth is on the large size. I have only been stitching for a year now and am not sure what size I should purchase my fabric. Thanks for any help.
Most of my fabrics are a fat quarter and some are fat half’s for larger projects.
Happy stitching 🧵
I stitched One Nation. I stitched the states alternating in red and blue (each line) because I hate stitching with white. The stars are white of course. I started on Election Day 2020 and finished on Inauguration Day 2021. I then had it quilted like a flag. I love it. Vote Blue!
Alternating the state colors is brilliant. I bet your piece is gorgeous.
I always love your videos. I enjoy your sureness of what pleases you, which linen/fabric you choose and most of all your chatty sharing! Thank You!

I am sorry Steph but I gave up on the rotation.
@@thevirginiastitcher lol... so did i!
Love your One Nation! Is this being done on 28 count or 14 count Aida?
I am stitching it on 28 count Lugana
Thank you Vicki! I just found it on one of your previous videos. I also just ordered the exact same fabric. I love how you’re personalizing this project.
I think the "dog" is a werewolf......that would be my best guess.
Sorry what is the author and name of the book you showed numerous pages?. So glad you are back
That is Teresa Kogut’s Hello Halloween book.
Hi Vicki just visiting from Canada. My husband and I are in Massenutten. Is there any chance of a meet up? Are we close at all?
Hello, I am about 2 - 2 1/2 hours away from the mountains. That would be quite a distance round trip. I hope you had fun.
