    Command Sergeant Major Lee Strong sits down with
    Kevin to discuss Special Forces Assessment and Selection,
    the qualification course, standards, leadership, and more.
    Don't listen to the hype and exaggerations. Find out from the man

    Active duty SSG in the conventional force, being selected has always been a dream if mine but always found reasons why it wasn't the right time. 6 years in and finally deciding my excuses are worthless and working on getting my selection date for early next year. Thank you to the guys such as yourselves putting out the info and having the conversations that people like me need to hear to take that final step.

      Hi, I’m a 22 year old woman and I’m from Arizona.
      What advice would you give to a woman that wants to be a CAG assaulter? How does the Delta Force community feel about women joining them?
      If you had to go to Delta Force selection again, how would you prepare differently? Has a woman ever graduated from the Operators Training Course?
      I’m 5’8” and 173lbs, is that a good or bad size? What books or workout programs would you recommend to prepare for it?

    Going 18x in June
    I was really scared of committing and not making it but you’ll never know unless you try. Glad to see you guys giving such great info out to help the future generation going in. My size has always been a contender for my confidence doing Track and Field in college, despite eventually making All American. Good to see guys my size in and taking the nervousness down a little. Gonna give it my best!
    Hooah.

    Thank you for the amazing interview and God Bless our Green Berets and all that have served! I only wonder if the guest might have been able to speak about the uniqueness of SF when compared to other SOF units. I am in awe of all military personnel, SOF in general, but SF is particularly impressive! Thank you for all you do!!

    Thought about going 68W with Option 40, but after this, I realized I can't be afraid. I'm self-selecting my way out, so I'm going 18x, instead. Because they can help me get faster and stronger, but nobody else can help me if I let fear of failure get to me.

    • @Joseph_Knight
      @Joseph_Knight 6 месяцев назад

      If you get an answer let me know, because I was thinking of joining now that the Army has raised the Age Limit to 43. The National Guard has a prep coarse called SFRE, for enlisted and civilians, to see if they are physically ready. I would really like to see if I'm qualified, at 42 I'm certainly prepared.

    • @TheFloresj23
      @TheFloresj23 6 месяцев назад +1

      @@Joseph_Knight so I’m currently deployed and have been in contact with the assessment training team and recruiting team at 19th SFG. Since I’m currently in there is a transfer wavier and age waiver for SF. While they did raise the over all age not sure if there’s a waiver for SF for non in-service candidate.
