Wasn't expecting an American to know much about football in general nevermind knowing about Newcastle but you clearly knew a lot about what you were talking about! Loved the video lad!
Newcastle best fans in England 🏳️🏴 the city lives and breaths football and the following the club is like religion to the Geordies . Most passionate fans in England
As an American who never had an interest in proper football I’ll say it was Newcastle’s fans that got me into the game and the team. Long live the Toon!
Lovely to see an American appreciate Newcastle! I don't know if you're aware of this, but Newcastle is one of the few teams to have a stadium in the centre of the city, so we're pretty much the only place you get that kind of view. If you ever do come over to the UK for a game up here, HMU. The Schar goal he missed was amazing, you can see it on the NUFC official channel match review.
Being a united fan I agree that Newcastle fans are great they’re proper supporters I’m not a fan of their new owner but I am happy their fans will get a bit of joy, last time I got to a United Newcastle game was a few years back on Boxing Day the atmosphere was great we were chanting the old 12 cantona’s chant which normally drowns the away fans out but they were bouncing and it was absolutely fucking freezing too but you can’t break their spirit I feel the same for West Ham fans too great set of supporters
People who haven't been might not realise how cool it is to get into the city, and as the dual carriageway inclines a little you see St. James' there in the middle of town. It's amazing. It's just great to have a club that tries again. Brilliant to see an American football fan that seems knowledgeable about the game and appreciates that our game is structured differently than US sports without wanting it changed! Hope you can come over to see a game sometime.
If you ever manage to make it to Newcastle, I'll loan you my season ticket for the game, no cap, so you can make your own matchday VLOG and hopefully have the time of your life!
Fair play for your knowledge on English football!! Was not expecting that! Good video!! Up the toon ⚪️⚫️⚪️⚫️ e-i-e-i-e-o up the premier league we go 🎶💪🏻
interestingly, part of what makes Newcastle’s match day experience top tier is the location of the stadium (I think it has something like 5times as many pubs/bars within a mile radius than any other club)
Football isn't a sport in Newcastle, it's a religion. St James's park is the cathedral on the hill right in the city centre. The Colosseum in Rome was the beating heart of the city, the same is true for st James's park.
Watch the goal Jonas Gutierrez's goal against West ham friend, when he scored against West ham, last game of the season and we had to win to stay in the premier League, & he had just beaten cancer, and carver gave him his last game, and St James park was rocking! I was fortunate to be at that game, the atmosphere was electric like it always is, but when he scored he took the roof off St James park!!!
Mate if you ever get the chance to come over and go to a match you will be blowj away, we've 100% got best and most passionate crowd, if the small club down the road get back into the premier League, that's the game you can't miss, tickets are like gold dust for the mackems coming to sjp, our city is lovely & our loyalty to our club is second to none, nice to see an American appreciating our club with football (Soccer) not being your countries main sport, good video 😃 Toon toon black & white army!
Where that person was sitting is like a morgue! Best behind the goal in the gallowgate end where the real atmosphere is felt, feel free to watch my videos, you get the real matchday experience on them , have a feeling that person isn't a regular at the ground lol
im a newcastle fan and have been to loads of matches but yes you slide your ticket in the sensor and walk up alot of stairs lol but if your down low you dont hahaha
You should check out some videos from Tyneside Life, he does pre-game and post-game interviews with home and away fans as well as videos on the history of the area
Thank you so much for watching my video! Really hope you enjoyed it, you’ll have to go over to Newcastle and watch a game at St James’ Park, I’d definitely recommend it! Just subscribed to your channel 👊🏼
I don't know if you know, but as the lad is walking through the tunnel into the stand you see a white line painted on the floor. That is the line which you aren't allowed to take alcohol past. No drinking in the stands. Nice video and you seem knowledgeable. :)
From those seats in the Milburn Stand, you cannot just see over the city: you can see the North Sea, ten miles away. If you had super vision (and notwithstanding the curvature of the Earthl) you could look at Denmark
I've been to St James Park many times and it is a special place with amazing fans. If you watch Newcastle play away they regularly can be heard louder than the home fans. That game actually isn't given full justice by the video as the fans were absolutely BOUNCING. The Newcastle fans are the best in the league if not the world and when the stadium gets expanded and has even more fans in you'll see this. They sell out every game no matter how the team is performing. My team for over 30 years. Toon Army.
The reason your atmosphere is different is because your home and away fans are mixed in you need to keep all the away fans together so they all sing as one if America does that it would improve the atmosphere 1000%
Should be a good season compared to what we are used to. We've endured enough suffering. Only 1 win but only 1 loss too. We are struggling a little in turning shots into goals. We couldn't buy the players we needed and over paid on one. But things are looking really great. We are moving in the right direction. Eventually we will win a trophy. Over 59 years and counting lol. Come close a few times but always the bridesmaid lol. They are investing in 17-19 year olds like I've never seen before. Paid 300k a few days ago for one from Australia. I feel like we are a club again. Being run as one should be.
Geordie through and through ever need a ticket let me know mate got a season ticket in gallowgate so can sort u if u ever decide to come u wouldnt regret it 👌
Need to get your ass across the pond. As good as some of these matchday videos are. They aren't a patch on being in the stadium on match day at St James Park. Notbeven close.
Wasn't expecting an American to know much about football in general nevermind knowing about Newcastle but you clearly knew a lot about what you were talking about! Loved the video lad!
mad respect for you Callum, scoring in the game then pretending to be an American watching the highlights, great video
this deserves a lot of likes.

As a Newcastle fan having a season ticket it’s absolutely amazing going to the matches and the atmosphere it just gives the player confidence
If you ever manage to make it to Newcastle, I'll loan you my season ticket for the game, no cap, so you can make your own matchday VLOG and hopefully have the time of your life!
On a clear day, you can see the sea from the very top of St James Park which will be around 12-13 miles away.

Facts , bars less than even a quarter mile. Strawberry and seven swans and now shearer's bar
It had 108 bars within half a mile radius back in 2019, i read somewhere recently it's over 150 now lol

come over to SJP! I've two seasons tickets right next to the away end and you can have one for a game

Nottingham Forest are my Team.. Sad how we are playing but our fans are epic
For the full match day experience he should have been necking 8 pints pre match.
